  1. A continuation to the Mystic Forge secrets events would be welcome as well 🙂
  2. Just because dungeons are 5-man content doesn't mean they should get transformed into fractals. Noone is begging for DRMs to be converted to fractals because of how distinctly different they are. I personally would only ask for the drops of dungeon trinket recipes to be fixed since some are bugged and don't drop anymore. It's a small fix that doesn't require much of Anet's attention and lets them focus on new content which seems to be their current priority.
  3. I'm not holding my breath. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do fix it, but I guess they'll just remove it from the daily objective pool and call it a day.
  4. Just chipping in to share my disappointment in the lack of bug fixing and polish in the game. If it doesn't get fixed within the first month upon release, the vast majority of the bugs don't ever get fixed regardless of how game-breaking they are 😞
  5. I kinda wish they would add the equivalent of public mode with matchmaker that only asks for 2 healers+1 tank+7 dps to strikes/raids/fractals so these players can have their dream system implemented so the rest of us can keep making our own groups with the current LFG.
  6. There are still frequent mechanics that force people to spread out and that leave damaging AOEs, so it's better to focus ress (DPS loss btw) which is still punishing just like in any other fractal. I think it's a very much welcome change and helps alleviate the jankiness of some mechanics. In any case if you don't like ressing downed/dead players then you have an issue with the base game design, not especifically this fractal.
  7. Apparently aiming as far as possible on the platform makes landing on it more consistent. While on the topic of whack interactions on the fight, if Kanaxai copies regeneration before he goes invulnerable while channeling World Cleaver and he regenerates 1%, after you deal with the adds and deal 1% damage to him he will channel the attack again. When we had that happen, everyone could see all the outer Aspects despite only being able to damage their own, you can realistically only find yours marked on the mini-map. This fight is genuinely not fun, I expect everyone to stop running it after they get their achievements or skin.
  8. ? Only one person has mentioned Dungeon Master until now, everyone else is talking about the farming of tokens to buy skins for Dungeoneer. Still, the unpopular paths were already unpopular enough that even if you ignored their existence you could still get everything, and you still can. Doing them once in your entire playtime won't populate them any more than what they used to be ran.
  9. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Before you could skip the particularly hard and annoying paths and ignore entire dungeons entirely and still get the associated skins. Now you can keep doing that through WvW, PvP and wardrobe unlocks. If you actually do the dungeons you might even have to do a bit of work now.
  10. Just chiming in to say that Dungeoneer, much like Voice in the Void, never had much prestige to begin with. I got Dungeoneer long before the change and I can probably count with both hands the amount of times I've cleared any Arah path, SE P2, or HotW P2,3. People who got their title with WvW, PvP or wardrobe unlocks played dungeons even less than I did.
  11. Please remember that there are players who will want the AP from the old tutorial achievements who started playing after their removal. It's not the case for me especifically, but I don't see the value to arbitrarily making this aspect of the game worse for those who join later. There have been many achievements that were retired before I started playing as well, and I would have appreciated if players pushed against these sort of changes on my behalf (and maybe thanks to them for a long while Anet barely removed any, so for that I'm grateful). These 125 points might not be much by themselves, but they now add up to the thousands of currently unavailable points and I think it would be better if everyone had a chance at them.
  12. A utility gizmo would've been such a nice combo with the 9th birthday cake. Maybe the stats are a bit too bloated, but that can be toned down to 2% or 1.5% and it'd still be an amazing baseline buff you can share with other players. I hope they reconsider it and add it somehow to the game 😕
  13. I'm saddened by the ever increasing amount of retired AP. I know not the majority of players like collecting every single last point, but for those who do it's very frustrating knowing that no matter how hard you grind there will always be a couple thousand points beyond our reach for the simple fact you didn't start early enough. I'll repeat my suggestion here in case it has more visibility, but please give the monthly/daily combined AP cap treatment to other achievements. That is, let us earn AP from two sources: the old and retired one, and a new currently available one. In this case the Tutorial achievements retired in this last patch and the new Adventure Guide would count towards a shared 125AP cap. It could be extended to festival achievements as well.
  14. That's not true. If you send 2 mails consecutively you need to wait 2 minutes before sending 2 more. If you try to send any before that you restart the timer and need to wait the entire 2 minutes again. I'm very stubborn about my Christmas mails so I've sent dozens of mails every Christmas for a few years and haven't been blocked any further than this limitation. It's very frustrating though, so I wish they revised the system. Edit: I was replying to Shena Fu but I messed up the quote.
  15. I got the achievements and I'm still disappointed they got removed. The list of unavailable AP is quite disheartening for new players who enjoy completion. If they're really adamant about not having "duplicate" categories, they could do like with the daily/monthly AP: you can get AP from both the old retired and new systems up to a certain amount (the 125AP the Tutorial used to give for example). They could implement this for many festivals as well, before we got the current format there were hundreds of AP locked behind the especific versions of 2012 and so on.
  16. The gear AND build templates system still sucks and is way too overzealously monetized. Can we not pretend it's still not a broken system?
  17. Thanks for proving yourself you have no reading skills. Good talk.
  18. I explicitly said I like the aesthetics. Stop defending points you make up and I didn't say. Edit: To be clear, what I'm upset about is that they're all the same.
  19. Idk what is so legendary about a chandelier and yet we have Flames Of War, not sure what your point is. I even like the general aesthetics of the weapon set, but it's just plain boring that they're all so similar. It feels like a continuation of the overpriced weapon sets of the Icebrood Saga, just because I don't have to doesn't mean that the wait until something else is released is any more frustrating.
  20. We already have the Weapons of the Scion from Dragonfall, extremely rare Ascended weapons with unique skins for our bond with Aurene. I think that should have been enough. Legendaries are a big time and gold investment so I enjoy getting a unique piece at the end of it, not a part of a set like a cheap Black Lion skin set.
  21. Hard agree with all of the points listed. The legendary armory brings a ton of QoL for sharing legendary gear across characters, but swapping weapons around could use a tweak for it to truly be seamless while playing.
  22. Thanks @Cyninja.2954 for making sense here in the forums. It's refreshing to read.
  23. I'm fairly certain you have to be in the instance when CM is activated in order to get the buff that keeps track of it. Did you see the achievement buff on your buff bar? If it was missing then even if you had a clean run you would not get the title.
  24. If you mean Qadim the Peerless from Wing 7, the tank is the player who has the special action key activated and enters the inner circle first. If they move out of range (out of the circle), then they lose aggro and another player is selected, which would be the nearest player with special action key activated. Toughness is recommended for tanking because he hits often and hits hard, but it won't affect aggro. If you have more questions about the fight, I recommend reading the wiki's article: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Key_of_Ahdashim#Qadim_the_Peerless
  25. If they expected the difficulty to stay the same based on the first few levels, I don't think they've played any games before in their life lol Also, I think that GW2 does a good job early on to pull you into the world and incentivize exploration, which is a big thing throughout the entirety of the game as a whole. While it's true that weapon skills and utilities could start getting unlocked a bit earlier on, the first few levels are so quick to breeze through it's almost a non-issue imo.
