  1. Multiboxers gain what, exactly, that grants them what advantage over any other player in GW2?
  2. "Preferred Player" tier? No thanks. I really don't understand the need for sub "perks" in GW2. If one wants to play under a subscription-style model, then one need only to set a calendar reminder on one's cell phone for the first Monday of each month, pony up the money and purchase gems (which, too, are alt-friendly as gems are account bound). Please leave the rest of those, who enjoy the current non-sub based model, to purchase things as they want or like to without forcing the issue.
  3. Everyone can do it, so there is not really any advantage.I agree in that I don't see how any advantage could be gained at all because there is no "win" condition where another player might "win" at GW2 over another player due to their farming. The premise of the complaint is invalid in my opinion.
  4. What more, really, can be said at this point? People continue to complain about the same thing. The feedback has been given; there is no longer a reason to keep the thread stickied. I get what you are trying to say but these are people not complaining but asking for answers and communication as well as continued suggestions and doing thier best to keep this thread alive. please offer constructive feedback for the topic or please stop complaining about people. I would suggest that we discuss the limitations of what can and cannot be done in the near future 1 make the slots account wide2 make a save button so they are templates and not loadouts3 get rid of build storage as there is no need for it4 link build and equipment and once linked offer a reasonable price in the gemshop5 please communicate with us.Sorry you took it as a complaint. I was trying to present a case for why the thread became un-stuck. While I agree that the requests for answers and communication is valid, it is the same questions and same calls for communication that are repeated throughout the thread. There hasn't been anything substantially different or unique for several pages for the developers to focus on.I do like your list of suggestions. They seem to summarize the thread pretty well.
  5. Players may opt to pay $15-$20 or more per month to buy gems. That is the subscription model for GW2.
  6. Player housing is not a QoL upgradeDungeons have already been pushed aside for FractalsThere hasn't been a team to focus on guilds and guild-related content for some timeWhile some might enjoy the beetle races, I believe most would prefer actual content instead. Still, one can dream about these things. Hope springs eternal, or so it's said.

  8. Just working on that darned elusive Skyscale. One day, I'll get it!
  9. No, please. I main ranger and would not like this to happen.
  10. Yay, our weekly PANIC thread. Game is dead. No one in any format. Turn off the servers.
  11. I still don't have mine. I agree it is a grind; however, understand that it is considered a legendary mount and as such requires a certain amount of effort because it is legendary. As said above, you don't have to go for it all at once and there are other mounts that are more easily obtained which pretty much do everything one needs. As a very casual player, with limited time due to work/family, I have chipped away little by little and have made it to the saddle portion of the quest. I'm almost there!
  12. I kept my legendary armor in shared inventory slots and used arc templates to swap builds on multiple toons. Can't do that now.Ok, I understand that. How did you manage before Arc?
  13. If parked and autoskilling unattended it is still actionable. Thus the term AFK, no? ;)
  14. You've been away for three years. It may take time to learn the "tells" of the AI and then know when to dodge/block/evade to prevent knock-back or other hard CC effects.
  15. Templates may be basic for most games, but clearly Anet decided to take a different path with GW2 -- otherwise templates would have been available upon release. Templates weren't really needed until raids came out and the game seemed to get along just fine without them until that point. I haven't seen any requests for templates until HoT/raids came out and even then I recall most were wanting them built-on because they didn't want to trust a third-party application and risk getting banned.
