  1. This is why I don't have max slot bags. I can't imagine the time it would take to empty out once they got full.
  2. That seems rather statistically insignificant to me. /shrug
  3. As a ranger main, I also think that this would be cool; however, with Anet limiting the number of alts one can park in the homestead, I can't imagine that the system would be able to accommodate all of the pets.
  4. I did say essentially free. And converting gold to gems is not irrelevant. It is a perfectly viable method to obtain items in-game without having to pay RL cash. Whether or not the incentives are to get players to use cash is just another part of Anet's business model. OF COURSE Anet wants players to pay in cash. It's how they keep the lights on and servers running. There is no incentive for Anet to offer these items at a lesser price or to make them more available in the WV.
  5. Seems like every time the player base asks (demands in some cases) something from Anet, and Anet finally implements it, it isn't what the player base wanted. You'd almost think that the players would have figured this out by now.
  6. I have never bought a template with cash. Convert gold to gems. It's simple. And essentially free.
  7. You can pretty much do all of this now by paying a set amount each month and purchasing gems. There's nothing stopping you from doing that. And, as a bonus, what you purchase won't go away if you stop purchasing.
  8. For some casuals, making a build that "makes sense" doesn't always equate to high level game play. I know that I use a lot of sub-par weapons with some of my characters because I like them, not because they are the most efficient.
  9. I'm probably one of the most casual players you'll ever meet and I didn't find JW to be anything like HoT level difficulty on release.
  10. Yeah, I've noticed this as well. I got more, a lot more, in the first map.
  11. It all depends on how one spends one's mastery points. There are enough to get canyon jumping at an early point.
  12. You might look over here as there are several other threads from returning players: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/forum/25-players-helping-players/
  13. It's a merged thread, so no one has any idea of how many threads there were that were eventually merged into one.... which is what the devs have asked for, to have comments in one thread so that they don't have to scour the forums.
  14. I did not know that. Will have to give that a go.
  15. Yeah, I agree. I haven't seen them get much use by anyone.
  16. Getting players to populate older maps? I'd say this is working as intended.
  17. Egad. This sounds so lazy. Why not just have the treasure autolooted to you when you log on to the map?
  18. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lowland_Beehives
  19. I'd imagine that Anet had the metrics and found that almost no one engaged in underwater content so the decision was made to pretty much stop developing it outside of simple underwater exploration.
  20. Sadly, not many because Anet believes that pretty much all medium armor skins (for females, anyway) should be provided with some sort of butt-cape.
  21. As has been stated to you by multiple people, you have plenty of other avenues to pursue high-difficulty content, which has been around for quite a while now. You're just being disingenuous here.
  22. The converse is true. People advocate for things in the game when they have no idea how it could work, be balanced/abused etc
