I just got my Asus Rog Ally, and saw lots of older videos of people on youtube playing GW2 through it. It handles like a controller and touchscreen. Is this still possible to play GW2 on it? I’ve just downloaded it and have my longterm account ready to use on it for the first time.

Loved the begining, and the Kryptis world. Wanted more of their world, although I haven't beaten the expansion just yet, I was hoping we'd get to jump into their realms more like we did when we first got dragged into the portal. The Wizards tower safe map is a favourite. The enemies are cool. The tentacle head meta boss is pretty good. The wizard vault is a mix of greatness and absolutely crap at the same time. I like having the choices to spend points on anything, but I hate having to consistently go out of my way to do more than just play a short time, just to get my daily item/points. The old style let you log in and get a reward, so if you was having a busy day and couldn't play then it wasn't too much of a problem to get your log-in item, but now if I log in I have to make sure I have enough time for all the dailys, which I don't always have time or want to. For a busy working family man, I find it a little tedious sometimes logging in now since I play so late, and often feel rushed to do my dailies before the reset. Often just waiting for my days off. So, in all honesty, It's good, but no longer flexible and somewhat annoying.

Just gave it a try, but no luck. I'll just go with the first suggestion you offered. Might keep this topic open until I know what Support suggests, in case they have something to suggest that others in my situation could use.

Hi, I've been a regular UK player since 2013, and pretty much buy gems each month. I have had an issue this week with payment, and the banking app pretty much said it was the merchants fault and that ArenaNet was not complying with new payment regulations introduced. I then got a payment error message in-game (error code: 100427). I do not see this error code on the GW2 help page with all different error codes. I'm probably going to send a ticket tomorrow or next week, but wondered if anyone else had come across this themself, recently?

Can we please get an (unbuttoned/open) chequered shirt for all classes? So we can dye the color squares all over it (Red/black, or Green/black etc). if it’s open/unbuttoned then you can have a t-shirt under it too.

I prefer EoD if I'm honest as it fits a lot of what I like. But PoF was better in some ways so I won't pretend EoD is greater. I despise the maps of HoT but it did bring in some good things. For me: Good Story: PoF. Aestetics and design: EoD. Positive group challenge: HoT. Music: EoD. Worst Maps to glide/climb/fly in: HoT. Annoying boss events: EoD. Best Masteries: PoF/EoD. Best collections: PoF Best Armor: EoD (personal taste) most hated it I know. Best GH: - HoT (Though I love the look of the EoD GH, but it's small).. Replayable Events worth doing: HoT / PoF. Replayable Story worth doing: PoF/EoD. Total best Value out of all: PoF. Didn't count Raids as I am not into it but I am sure that EoD failed the raiding community, just as it did the WvW community.

I think in short, 50% of the playerbase would not like to see mounts and OW story items restricted behind Raids and Strikes. But it's hard to have a balance that fits everyone, but it is do-able. As for the Meta... well.. My personal view after beating DE is that it needs another minute or two on the timer. If it was up to me it would be so different. The Meta would have been handled just like Dragons Response missions seen in the late part of IBS. A "free-for-all" with the boss difficulty scaled down fairly to the number of active participants in the instance. The pre-events would have been the first instance, the second would have then been opened up for the boss fight itself. The tokens gained for it would go towards the early collection, instead of just buying random fish and fruit from an NPC or farming it. -- On a side note: A much harder version of the boss battle with Soo-Wan (a mix of the story version and Meta) should have been available for Raids with bonus items for new armor or raid and strike specific gifts, for those who seek the challenge.

Forcing them to experience the map designs and content by foot won't make them neccersarily happy or more appreciative of the maps or expansion if that's not their focus. Especially if they spent all that time getting skyscale, some prefer the luxuary it provides and the abbility to get to the story and events, faster. . I chose to personally do the first Cantha map without using Skyscale unless it was somewhere that I had already ran or looked through. But that was my own choice to enjoy the expansion as a whole. But doing that for most of the map exploration is not very neccesary. There's only so much NPC and textures you can look at before you just wanna get to the action lol. If they had any intention of exploring the maps instead of rushing through it, then they would do that by choice. And some of the returning Vets just wanted to rush through it to see if it is any good. ------ /TLDR; Not a good idea as not everyone wants to take the time to explore every nook and cranny, rather, some would prefer to jump to the action or story.

My friend had this issue. I know it's in the chest in the middle, but for me it didn't even spawn on my first victory, which kittened me off because I hate strikes and had to do it again multiple times to win again and get the chest. ANet's big mistake was not allowing the Thruster to be automaticly recieved upon Minister Li's defeat. They could have stoppd this bug happening that way.

I actually got lucky with a PUG party 20 mins back. First bunch that had their cr@p together. Went rather well until the end when only 4 of us were left. Though we did beat him. My views will more than likely remain the same though.The idea of being carried through content just doesn't really appeal to either... I'm not opposed to Raids or Strikes, just not sure I want to be seeing them use it too often for mounts in the future, and rather they remained on cosmetics and certain loot.

Done more successful Metas than I have had successfull Strikes for turtle.Liturally hate this collection so much I'd rather re-do Griffon and Skyscale combined -_- I'm not a fan of joining Meta raids despite my Meta Beserker build and despite it being the only time we beat it (but it glitched and no item from the "Suiting up" collection was recieved after Li died). I kinda prefer casual teams more with less stress. It's just a shame that often that means casuals won't have the right gear sometimes and then a 15 min strike turns into 30, but atleast they're often more fun and friendly. This game is slowly losing it's abbility to say that it's an MMO for casual players.

Do character slots really have much to do with it? I have 62 and no issues all day. 🤔

I believe hes referring to the "not responding to threads" half the time This.And even if they read and get the point people are bringing up, there's no guarentee their higher-ups will take it into consideration unless it becomes a big deal.

I was gonna bring my gf into the game, but now I think about it with her epilepsy and ANet not listening to us half the time, I think I need to keep her away.

I'm pretty casual, don't do raids or pvp. Only WvW and PvE.The last story I managd to do, alone on my Power Reaper (Power/Precis/Feroc) , all exotics, even the GS and staff.Died once or twice due to my own idiocy and not getting the right jumps in during the "get to the air and fly from his attack" phase, and another during the fight against Eir.Beyond that, it wasn't bad. Was suprised about the fight reseting, but it only pushed me to try harder and remember my mistakes. Not sure if boss scaling had anything to do with your problem though, but I assumed that it required more than a 5 party team to make the Boss's tougher, to scale the fight fairly (sometimes making the fight unnecessarily longer and rougher if one or two of you are being carried threw the fight).

Mostly, I'm an RP/cosplay completionist.For me, most of my WvW or PvE story content is occupied with my RP characters.41 out of 46, if you will. I'm in 2 fully active guilds, and the rest are my own creations (for name sake and tag matching with one or two characters of mine).I'd definitely Pay to get more guild slots.Truth be told, I'd probably waste quite a bit on guild slots just for the guild name/tags I could make to match my mains. But... I don't see a reason to have more guilds in all honesty, it's not a huge deal, and if it drains resources from Devs, then no.Would be more helpful though for us character junkies, or socials.

Fun to do the second time around.First time, I kinda rushed it and thought I'd be clever by summoning my Griffon, but she sniped the shizzle out of my flying mount lol.Was hoping there was an option to kill her at the end for all the hassle, instead :P

Arah was dissapointingly easy to solo, but it's set up for casual players. Honour of the Waves story solo isn't so easy. So other dungeon storys should be more rewarding to do for a challenge.

Just wanted a bike. But there's still plenty of time to go yet, who knows what we'll see next.
