Mirage has enough evade frames from the 1 dodge, energy sigils and mirage mirrors, not to speak of being able to stomp/rezz while doing so. It is good that Mirage players can´t spam their Ambush skills that often anymore.
I still play Power Rev in SPVP and it feels okay, however the risk of being more squishy compared to condi rev or other condi classes is not really worth the damage output power rev can do now, even with Berserker stats. I also started playing Retribution instead of Devastation cause the trait line is pretty garbage now.
This very much. Even a random player like myself can get away with fun but not meta builds. This hasn't happened in such a long time. It's a true bliss. Sort of a contradictionary statement. This isn't how PvP in any game should be, really.I mean we only have 5v5 Unranked right now which has no Matchmaking. I play power rev atm and it works really good vs bots, but it might be completely different in Ranked

You do realize the big balance patch was only the first step and was (mostly) meant to decrease the powercreep overall? Of course not everything is perfect, there is still broken shit that needs to be looked at, but it was a patch that Anet can follow up on the following weeks/months.
I like it for the most part, however rezzing skills/traits need to be toned downed or even removed from PvP. Downing someone 4 times in a row without being able to finish him off is really not enjoyable

I lean towards useful skill that cost something, afaik Mallyx is still good with proper plays so it was the right call instead of making it's skills useless. Riposting Shadows is no exception, Shiro is still well beyond playable and just as strong with proper decision making. More like "useful skill that costs too much". It´s no fun to play a class that can´t even use half of their utility because the energy is drained by too expensive skills. Both Shiro and Mallyx were bloated and too easy to use, there's not much to say otherwise. Jalis was always expensive and always worked fine, so it's no excuse to ignore the rest when everyone's getting the same threatment.That´s my point, when they are too bloated you should nerf the functionality or increase the CD, not the energy which worsens fluid gameplay

Anet keeps increasing the energy costs for utility skills rather than nerfing the functionality of them. This is such a lazy handling of balancing things.
Most of Condi Rev CC comes from Call to Anguish which needs to be toned down in radius imo, maybe also increase the CD. They also need to look into Necro Fear Output/Duration. Thief CC is not a problem tho
I think you mean Warrior (Mace, Shield, Hammer, utility skills, the elite etc.). Spellbreaker is about punishing boon use and adds very little in the way of CC, even Berserker has more CC overall. Full Counter, Dagger 3, Bull´s Charge, Rampage .. ?
The OP was very clearly asking about WvW and not PVE. You made it sound like Mirage/Chrono is garbage in every gamemode. It basically is. Mirage and Support/DPS-Chrono are both Meta on several Raid bosses.
