I shouldnt be frustrated by a game I'm playing to have fun, right? I shouldn't have to wait for the weekend either.

The maps are all full. There are no new instances currently. No map is on south. You can join no maps that are in the lfg, they are all full. The problem is unsolvable, I am stuck on maps that don't have a commander and are stuck on north meta. No matter how many times I relog. This has nothing to do with willingness. I am simply not able to join a map currently. Even if I tagged up and completed a north map I would be thrown into not a fresh new map but one that is stuck on north again. This can not be. I should not have to search for a map for hours in this game. Thank you.

If I could start my own map instance I would. I can not.

Does arenanet care? Sure doesn't seem that way since we've had these problems forever. I can't play the game because the LFG does not work. And please don't come with fixes like map ip or just click harder - the UI is a problem, the LFG is a problem, the whole system is a mess.

Title. Game just straight up deletes my build and swaps where my utility skills are when I switch my build or relog. Fix it, it's been years. Look at all the threads. Does anet even care?

I don't have much to say. Playing Mesmer, especially Chrono with its boon generation, just feels bad and sad now. That's it. Was the most fun class to play, now it's just dead weight. Absolutely useless. Terrible to play since nothing lines up. Wells are bad compared to other boon generation. Everything feels clunky. Boons don't last long enough to be worth the effort. The damage feels weird on Mirage (random ports yay, confusion yay...) and Chrono. There is no more skill involved. Distortion isn't really a thing anymore at all. It's just bad. Completely butchered the class over the last 2-3 years. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Every time I play my Mesmer, I'd rather play something else. And I mained that stuff in fractals and raids, cms, open world, everywhere. It's just bad. Sad state of affairs really. The worst thing tho is that I know nobody will take a hard look at this mess with the new elite specs coming in.

Are the Elementalist patchnotes a joke? If so, not funny at all, anet. Not funny at all. First you trash the class, then you ridicule the players.

I think it's requested by people who don't play Mesmer on a high level, or do not solo content and want just another support class to blast boons up their nose. People who "like the idea", but don't play the class. Mesmer doesn't need another support class. It needs to be better at the existing options, that fb and renegade do better with the push of a single button both in WvW and PvE. Mesmer needs a complete overhaul when it comes to its gameplay, how fluent and fun it is. Mesmer needs a complete overhaul to its identity after it lost all of its uniqueness (portals, alac + quickness). Mesmer needs a spec that plays just for itself, so it can solo PvE content better. Mesmer needs to be fun again. Sadly, I get the feeling Anet doesn't understand their own class. Also, the jump from t4 to CMs is huge in terms of player skill you'll find.

Idk to me it feels like Mesmer as a class has been completely gutted. Edit: To be clear, this is about gameplay and feel of the class. About how unique it is and what it provides, what tricks you can pull etc. I put the focus on that because you talked about things you "liked", not dps or anything similar.

Mesmer feels absolutely gutted, the brainless staff gameplay is just the cherry on top of this lobotomized class. Feels bad to play everything that includes a mesmer currently.

Thing is, I have 3x Legendary Armor sets (heavy, medium, light), precursors to armor sets and a lot of gifts. I'm especially curious about the gifts since I sank a lot of materials into them and can't use that.

Absolutely useless, because You limit it to 6 storage templates per character. Not enough.To max out 6 storage templates per class I'd have to spend (4x8+3)x500 = 17500 gems = 218,75 €.Look at this ridiculous number. LOOK AT IT. This still Does not include build templates.We'd be at around 400 €. I payed for this game and both expansions, guys. In addition to that It ruins the effort I have put into legendary armor and weapons. As demonstrated before, you do not get this abomination for the looks. Now you devalue its functionality, too. Cool, but you should really be more specific with your examples, and not make them up to support your argument. It's been detailed enough now that people need builds and that they are different from each other. I'm pretty tired of this argument that you also kind of present here: "I don't need it, so nobody else does." Yeah no. Having templates for small changes not only adds more comfort, aka QoL, but also more security that you did not make any mistakes while choosing gear.
