  1. I'm not a warr main and even i realize that losing stat boosts that warr had on banner would be devastating. Messing with movement ability just made sure warriors stayed down for the count as buffers i knew since before the change would be harmful too just because the perma buffs from banners are amazing.
  2. AHAHA ANET actually killed warrior when they tried to make them more useful its more of a sad pitiful laugh at the situation than at warrior UGH.

  4. This is what happens when you keep on using a chainsaw to gut dps builds and end up with a unsatisfying bunker meta because the dps specs get nerfed and gutted. Deep down its the people-s fault for asking for constant nerfs and not thinking about the consequences.
  5. Whats specifically terrible about this decision is that 30k DPS for a elite that cannot offer support that is wanted is a dead end. Reaper should prob be at least 36kish dps if it was 36kish dps. Its fine to be 29-30k DPS if you are mainly a support build. If the support isn't up to snuff then it needs to be buffed to keep up with everything else otherwise its a dead end.
  6. Bad news: There will be no changes to necromancers on reaper for PVE so reaper stays dead in pve plus other specs get buffed looks like its back to being denied and harrased for playing reaper. 6-8k dps difference is massive its way too big a difference.
  7. I get the feeling there won't be much changes. I quit the game with all the gutting of entire classes i gave up entirely on this game they go from having ele using staff to scepter then nerfing power and going condi and just utterly destroying entire specs. Its so frustrating to be so enjoying a spec thoroughly and have it wrecked and wanting to raid and pvp but they so thoroughly wreck entire specs without fixing its a joke.
  8. I feel like tempest has always been about either choosing dps Power? GO!!!! condi? OK not best choice but you got power support? viable healing and condi cleanse. The spec also better offer enough to compete.
  9. Same reason in the past why Tempest support wasn't brought over support guardian Firebrand druid and other specs which offered more. Might just need to nerf the ones which are really strong to balance out all specs or buff the under performers such as warr and nec.

  11. I agree if you gonna do support but not even have enough to be taken why lose that much DPS? thats atrocious i love tempest but cmon give us competitiveness in buffs region and il accept the dps loss.

I was around in 2017 and i was getting denied and even screamed at for even thinking of doing a raid as a reaper, it was like HOW DARE YOU play a necromancer and try to raid go play something else so don't tell folks its not that bad. Its true stuff has improved but even so If you give someone the choice between a straight line that avoids deadly pitfalls and traps or the pitfall and trap ridden long path more often than not people will choose what is also the shortest and path of least resistance so that is why.
  13. I got some bad news ARENANET makes a lot of casters melee range a lot of times you can go a bit of mid range with scepter warhorn not sure right now how good it is.
  14. Was anet trying to just destroy ele? like really some of the pvp/WVW might be useful "MIGHT" being the word but most of the changes are just nerfs from what it looks like to me. Why did they touch FGS someone brought up and he/She is right Overall the ele changes are kinda disappointing me as a ele main i was hoping for some positives.

  16. One of the buffs looked to be a pretty big number for pvp WVW so it might make for decent support spec for offensive support for PVP WVW i hope the rest is kinda sad and ???.
  17. On one part i'm kinda confused about the lucid singularity will this be enough to be competitive and be able to keep it up 100%? The buffs to staff for support ele will have to be tested it looks to be a big buff to staff heal on ele the rest look like buffs to staff dps not sure if this will effect or not anything. I don't understand what is wanted from catalyst is it meant to be only DPS? because they changed quickness to fury if its self is it meant to be power dps for catalyst? No changes to lava font i see Maybe we will be pretty decent offensive support in WVW i'd be willing to try since i do love support classes.

The tooltip for Lesser Fiery Eruption now matches the actual target cap for this skill. Reduced target cap for Fiery Greatsword's Fiery Eruption and Firestorm skills to 5. Conjure Earth Shield Stone Sheath: Increased cooldown from 8 seconds to 12 seconds in PvP only. Magnetic Surge: Increased cooldown from 12 seconds to 15 seconds in PvP only. Air Zephyr's Speed: Now additionally increases critical strike chance by 5% while attuned to air. Raging Storm: Increased fury duration to 4 seconds. This skill now applies to up to 5 allied targets within a range of 360. Increased internal cooldown to 8 seconds. Staff Lightning Surge: Increased power coefficient from 0.91 to 1.13 in PvP and WvW. Ice Spike: Increased power coefficient from 0.91 to 1.13 in PvP and WvW. Geyser: Increased pulse base heal from 276 to 441 in PvP and WvW. Frozen Ground: Reduced cooldown from 30 seconds to 25 seconds in PvP and WvW. Healing Rain: Increased number of conditions removed per pulse from 1 to 2 in PvP and WvW. Weaver Elemental Refreshment: Now affects up to 5 allies in a circle with a range of 360. Tempest Lucid Singularity: This trait has been reworked. It now applies alacrity to nearby allies upon successfully completing an overload. Duration is now 6 seconds with a radius of 360. Catalyst Deploy Jade Sphere (Air): The default boon applied by the sphere while in air attunement has been changed from quickness to fury in PvE only. It still provides quickness by default in PvP and WvW. Deploy Jade Sphere: Damage coefficient per strike reduced from 0.668 to 0.5 in PvE only. Spectacular Sphere: This trait now also increases the radius of Deploy Jade Sphere from 240 to 360 in all game modes. In PvE only, it causes Deploy Jade Sphere in air attunement to additionally provide quickness and reduces all outgoing damage dealt by 10%.   20. Could try world of warcraft as well, they allow warrs to be successfull and destroy folks well in pvp as well.
  21. You forgot massively nerfs banner warriors so now they prob won't be taken over anything else
  22. Most of these changes are outright nerfs. The banners are direct nerfs to warriors and its a 1 sec cmon i bet mesmers can do a few seconds more than that really ANET? Guess its time for reroll for warrior mains cause this sucks.
  23. One of the advantages is ranged Burst dps though on harbringer. If you can cc and necros are very strong at CC you can help prevent enemies from getting away plus you can literally vomit condies and you got medium range on harbringer.
  24. What about carapace and how it works along with protection from elixirs for harbringer? Wouldn't you argue that counts as a defense'
  25. I mean Doesn't weaver have some stuff that allow it to sustain well from barriers? i forget both probably. Shouldn't be 1 hit kills thats why chrono was nerfed and rangers and thief specs. Small nerf to DPS and a nerf to the sustain type it has and replace that with mobility making it a more mobile class which is what it was supposed to be
