Funny you can trade all the items you want with anyone using the mail system. Legendries are only worth about 1 gold to the merchant. Now the question is can you trust that other person you are trading with, because once traded no way to come out of the deal if it goes wrong

That's like saying they should grey out and give no experience to people who are well above the level range of the area they are in making it useless to go back for any old or new reason. In newer content gliding areas give updrafts. and ley lines that can get you to places mounts cannot. Gliding even has a few seconds of stealth you can use to throw off the enemy. Of course if your are a player that thought HoT was too hard and skipped it then you did not learn much from the design, which the GW2 world is 3D

A good way to play a bit of season one living story is to go to twilight arbor dungeon and choose twilight assault the foes in that are the same as ls1. LS1was set up to be played each day with no repeats if you missed it no second chances like real life. People did not like it so they made LS2 and on repeatable

You can't beat the game by taking on mobs, you must think how much your character can handle at once. Draw that many to you defeat then go for more

First thing to do is actually play HoT , it will help you by thinking of how you make builds. Builds that did work in core game may not work in HoT. Some enemies are stealthed so be ready to fight them also. Masteries are very important so make sure you learn them. It may help to do some PoF get some mounts first. Do it the way you want, but it is more challenging without mounts. You can work on your elite specialization for HoT it will also help your character

I used my ranger pets under water to attack people swimming shark was great at it too. It did tick some people off though but was fun to do. I like to think of underwater combat as combat from all directions including above and below . Your profession should have weapons for underwater combat and 6-0 skills for it too. Once out of the water the land weapons and skills take over automatically and visa versa.

GW2 was designed to be different than other MMORPG'S. Yes there are similarities to other games like World of Warcraft and Everquest 2. Unlike those games GW2 has a level system that brings your character down to the area that level is, meaning if you are level 80 in a zone designed for level 15 your level will go from level 80 to 15. This makes it so even weak level 15 foes can kill you if you don't watch what your doing. It also means you still get xp and drops from them. In those other games once above the level of the area no reason to go back you can kill all you want and get nothing ,and must go to a higher zone.

Well to make it worth more consider identifying the loot. They do some of the loot so it will stack and not take up your inventory like it used to . In GW1 we had to pay for ID kits. you may get lucky and ID a good drop who knows.

One observation is it is too close but the idea could be used for the future

Make GW2 look and play like GW1 for April Fools day. No gliding no mounts no jumping no falling, Outside of town areas are instanced. This could be game wide or be done similar to the super adventure box method.

Figure out the newest dodge does not make the mesmer move out of the way like they used to. The mirage takes less damage from its dodge from being missed altogether and health regeneration along with it. the advice I have is to learn to play the mirage like it is once u do its fun to play and very survivable with lots of damage

What the OP does not seem to realize is that the living world is actually free, only have to log in while active to get it free. To new players though or those who play off and on logging on months or years later they do not get the living world free. Living world started out as exactly as it sounds new things would happen every day not to be repeated thats why season 1 is not available. Even if you play the free version of the game and are logged in while any living story is active you get that one too free, after getting the expansions.

You have never been able to get any GW2 expansion or the core game with GEMS money only. The only thing you can get with GEMS is the deluxe upgrade to the newest expansion, nothing more. Do what I do get the ultimate edition for $79.99 which gives you all the stuff that comes with the deluxe version plus $50 in gems the game before you remove the costs of a new character slot lvl 80 boost is $29.99
