Pretty sure the echo we channel is the whole Shiro. The abilities associated with the legend are mostly those he uses in GW1.

Still, I don't think it should be Togo for a bunch of other reasons. Not worth arguing over at this point, though, since ArenaNet has probably already decided, but almost anything would be better than Togo.

The abilities associated with the legend are mostly based on jade and the jade wind (corrupted Dwayna magic). Of course he'll still retain his abilities as an assassin, which he obviously uses in GW1. He's still an assassin, even as an envoy.

There are no skills that are closely related with him being an envoy or the miasma, so I'm pretty sure revenants just channel the Jade Wind echo of Shiro, not the returned envoy/miasma/affliction one.

But yeah, I agree about how it shouldn't be Togo.

Imagine a "Togo / Shiro" duo and they react to each other especially in relation to that ? 😄

The echo of Shiro we channel doesn't seem to be Shiro the Envoy, but Shiro when he died the first time, the one that caused the Jade Wind.

That specific echo wouldn't have any memories of Togo.

Can you explain a bit more what you mean by entertains you? What do you feel is missing from the media that you've watched? Or maybe it would be easier to mention ways, that those other creators that you do watch, entertain you.

It's not easy to explain, as there are multiple ways a content creator can be entertaining.

It's not just one thing that creators do that entertain me, their whole stream just feels entertaining. You can't just pin down what's missing, as different streams will need different content.

For example, watching CohhCarnage or Quin69 is a vastly different experience, yet both are entertaining in their own way, even when playing the same game.

Their personality is a big factor, though.

I have a suspicion that it will not have an effect at all, to provide a "benefit" for players who still wish to go for Transcendence. But, I could be wrong, especially if ANet changes things so we can toggle effects/auras at will.

I don‘t really see the reason why it shouldn‘t have an effect. The new amulet does technically cost 1600+ gold currently, as anyone without the LW will have to buy the episodes for 200gems/each.

That said, i hope it has a toggle to remove the effect if it has one.

Gotta stop projecting this obsession with legendaries on people.

It's pretty funny how when folks see other people with stuff they don't have, they gotta find a way to discredit them, or to knock them down a peg. "Raids are toxic" "Nobody cares/plays about raids".  I don't really understand that at all,

Maybe you should stop projecting this thing about other people discrediting others for having stuff.

This thread alone shows enough examples of people that don‘t want others to have certain things, just to knock them down a peg. „Players that don‘t raid don‘t deserve XY“ „Players that play easy content only press one button“. I don‘t really understand that gatekeepy mind at all.

But what does it matter, the plea about opening up legendary armour from the OP was met with the usual negative and aggressive responses from the same bunch of people that like to hijack threads like these.

Another detail: The guardian is usually presented as a fairly bulky Norn, but this character doesn't look as heavy here. Looks more like the human thief character in my opinion.

Guardian has always been presented as a human.

  7. The responses to this thread and similiar other threads/suggestions make it abundantly clear why instanced niche content, especially raids, are at their current state. You reap what you sow 😉.

Tough luck OP, the usual suspects hijacked the thread and turned it into something it originally wasn't about. It even got moved into the "Instanced Group Content"-section, even though the suggestion has nothing to do with groups or group content.

Maybe there'll be new solo content in EoD, close to what you wish for OP, as Anet has experimented with 1-5 scaling for instanced content during DRMs.

Cool, so he (and you) can stop pretending what he's looking for isn't already in the game in some weird attempt to make mmo less mmo. If your goal is to not interact with anyone then wrong genre.

He just wants to turn non-mmo content like raids/strikes/fractals into non-mmo single player content. I don‘t see the difference, both aren‘t massively-multiplayer.

In fact, only WvW and OW are.

Whatever you say. If i dont think its overpriced it simply isnt overpriced for me. If you do, it is for you, and neither of us will change our minds on it.

Some of yall would balk at the price of artwork/commisions, and thats been a steady price for years now.

Someone did sell an „invisible statue“ for 18k this year (and was threatened to be sued by another artist that also creates invisible art).
So yeah, if something is „overpriced“ really depends on the buyer in the art business.

Well, then it is kinda funny that you keep pressing shield as a great weapon for a ranger bruiser spec, when ranger doesn't have a good mainhand pairing to utilize shield in a role like that. Whereas hammer, the weapon scrapper got which you describe as bruiser spec for engie, would be much for fitting and likely help to create an actual new role.

He does the same to revenant, because he wants to roleplay a ritualist with Togo as a legend. So yeah, kinda funny 😉.

The icon has what looks like the guild wars 1 ritualist Icon in the center of it. So I might as well just delete my rev at this point because clearly they are gonna give into the "MAH RITUALIST" bull which is already covered by the renegade. Whatever... shouldn't of expected anything I'd like lol.

I honestly don't see the GW1 Ritualist symbol in it.

It just looks like the base Revenant one https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Revenant to me, just without the vertical bottom part and the eye inverted. And then some mandibles of course.
