  1. Oh no. Please watch out mate. This could seriously destroy someone’s ego at Anet. No sarcasm, they are thin skinned as fçk.
  2. Yeah, Arenanet doesn’t give a fçk mate. Sorry.
  3. You know that when you say it it won’t happen right? Arenanet only tolerates good ideas if they come from them. They have an ego you can’t imagine. Bummer, it was a nice and original idea.
  4. GW2Taco has this and it works perfectly.
  5. Hahaha you still hope for guild improvements? Poor fella.
  6. This is not the first time they have banned people for their own mistakes. Good luck!
  7. "We know you want this game to succeed as much as we do" Their marketing suggests otherwise.
  8. *Casual players left because of HoT, most didn't complain. Anet saw their new plan of catering to a niche failed, so they did a complete 180. There was nothing niche about the direction they were going. It was niche enough to make lots of players quit. Like how lots of players quit after POF? Drop off was way stronger after HoT. Also players that were scared off by HoT are hard to bring back. Do you have a source? Only the NCsoft earning reports: http://global.ncsoft.com/global/ir/quarterly.aspx?BID=&BC=&BNo=&SYear=&SType=&SWord=&PNo=1Comparing post HoT and comparing post PoF. That shows nothing about player populations. TIL I can earn money with my game without a population. There are numerous other factors which affect game revenue than just player population. Yet player population is a main factor. Source? Do you know how many players purchase gems? Only Anet/Ncsoft knows how many players purchase gems obviously. If you can't see a link between player population and revenue, then i'm sorry. Source? Just look at every game. Keep insisting that casual players "destroyed" GW2, it's funny, where's your source on that? I’m not denying that there’s a link. I’m denying your assumption that it’s a strong one and that it disputes what I initially stated in this thread. If you don't think players population is a huge factor for revenue, I can't help you. You can keep claiming casual player complaints are at fault, but I've yet to see someone proving that. In fact Anet went all in on endgame content after HoT for some time, yet their revenue didn't recover. You don’t know what percentage of players purchase gems and how much. Anet could add 100K new players and none of them could ever purchase gems. Hahahaha.
  9. It's interesting that nowadays people think the only way to have big sick dps is bring 5 dps in t4. When no one play support, 5 dps means 5 corpses. Lol what?! Do you think we always had healers in this game or something?
  10. Yeah, let’s make this community even dumber. Maybe if the game worked properly, that path is full of gimmicky mobs, As Astralporing pointed out. The Aggro managment in this game is garbage, making that the required mechanic is laughable. I wouldnt mind if they removed or lessened the mechanics, as the fights can just be brute forced through these days BUT its never gonna happen, dungeons are dead. I still run them daily. Sometimes I only open in lfg after finish ooze puzzle by myself, really don't want any dramaCan understand haha.

  13. Seems like people aren’t playing for fun anymore. Almost everyone is thinking about one thing only; how to get as much loot in the least amount of time. Sad.
  14. You just don’t have it lol. I have it and I use it, and I still stand by with what I've posted half a year ago.Yehyehyeh sure bud.
  15. Fear not this night is an epic song indeed. Here are two other songs I really like!
  16. I have said this before, many times. But boy did you said it right!
  17. Even if the whole communiy voted it wouldn't have been "We are going to stop working on dungeons." They already stopped in 2013. I thought it was clear from my reaction that a huge majority of people never wanted Anet to stop working on dungeons back at 2013 in the first place. Guess it’s too hard to read, interpret and comprehend for some people ...
  18. I want to correct this! They used to have a system that made the complete group exit the instance if the “leader” left, which is AMAZINGLY stupid. Arenanet then wanted to change that (it should’ve not been like that in the first place, because like I said before, it is AMAZINGLY stupid, and people who design stuff like that should be fired on the spot) and of course, we all know Arenanet; instead of making it work perfectly like it works in most MMO’s, they chose to design a system like it is now. A system where people can join the party that YOU have created on the LFG could kick you after spending an hour in an instance, just for the fun of it if they really want to. You are leaving out the fact that the party leader had total control, completely beside the point that the instance was saved to him. Second, partying does not work "perfectly" in other MMOs. Each system has its issues and a sole control system has its own. Please don't pretend otherwise. The current system via majority vote is not ideal, but it is far from as problematic as people make it out to be.You can easily work within the system to prevent abuse. Simply have 1 other friendly player you know with you (this is a MMORPG after all, if you have 0 social contacts on a regular basis, you might want to start working on other issues first)if you get majority voted out of groups on a regular basis, the problem is clearly you and not the system. I have over 7k hours played, about to hit fractal god, have all the dungeon collections done, etc. I have been in lots of groups for group content. I can count the times I was kicked from group on 1 hand. I don’t agree. In my opinion, when you are the party leader, you should have the right to abuse. See, and that's where I'm sure many will disagree. If the majority of players in the group want you out, it's easier for them to replace you and you start a new group. Hence a majority system is in place. The fact that you started the LFG is of no consequence. The net result would be the same if the people left and reformed. This way the required workload and organization across all involved players is kept to a minimum. If this keeps happening to someone, they need to work on personal social skills. Which in turn would be even more a reason to not give such a player total control. Your real life example lacks 1 essential component: payment. I guarantee you, a majority of people would not support/work/stick with you in real life if you are mistreating them unless they get payed, and even then some will leave. I agree with you on the social aspect. But I still think it’s really wrong that the creator of the party can be kicked. Well just pay the other 4-9 people to drag you along then.Wth is this reaction? That has nothing to do with this topic. With over 1k insights I think I can safely say that no one needs to “drag” me along with anything. Learn to read and interpret, you will have a way better internet experience ...
