Oh, didn't know about this. Did they ever finish those unlock events? Or did they just kind of fizzle out? No, there were more skins found, which haven't been released yet.

I guess the combination with ectos is the one, that works for all exotic swords - https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Old_Ascalon

Daily Vault of Khan-Ur Chest did not reset
Schimmi.6872 replied to Locce.8405's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
As long as its before reset right or do it work for the next day if OP miss it? If I remember correctly, it still worked after one or more daylie rests. -
Daily Vault of Khan-Ur Chest did not reset
Schimmi.6872 replied to Locce.8405's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
According to my own experience, the large chest has an internal cooldown of about 24h. But your keys aren't lost, they will still be active till you loot the large chest. -
[Solved] Drizzlewood home instance node broken?
Schimmi.6872 replied to Ashantara.8731's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
I just checked it and it works for me, don't know if there is a bug. What does it show on the right side when you harvest war supplies, there should be a larger number directly after the charr salvage (e.g. 30 for blue)? -

[Solved] Drizzlewood home instance node broken?
Schimmi.6872 replied to Ashantara.8731's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Since yesterdays patch charr salvage is automatically salvaged. You can see this , if you hover over "Salvage Empowerment"-buff on the drizzlewood map.If you have some old salvage in your inventory, it's used too, as soon as you find new salavage of the same rarity. -

Any news on a possible major balance patch coming soon?
Schimmi.6872 replied to Kurowolfe.7124's topic in World vs. World
According to some messages on twitch, it will be soon, but no fixed date yet - see https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/hh8c7w/balance_patch_soon/ -
But are those skins previewable in the wardrobe? Because I could understand that if it wasn't. Frome time to time some NPC- or environmental weapons find a way into the wardrobe by mistake and may be removed later (e.g. the staffs the Whisper of Jormag uses are also found in the wardrobe under weapons -> large bundles). Most times you can recognize such skins, because they are stowed, hold, or scale in strange ways. In the case of the Stone Summit Cannon, it's stowed and carried the wrong way for a normal rifle skin.

You can try the "time machine" from gw2efficiency (account - time machine), if you know time and date. I haven't tried it to find unlocks before, but normally it should show new things added to your wardrodbe in the given time (better hide changes by market fluctuation, otherwise it will be a long list).

Silver-fed vs. Runecrafter's Salvage-o-Matic
Schimmi.6872 replied to Taylan.2187's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Thank you. I've been pondering on that. I'm not sure if this is mathematically correct but if the 25% instead of 20% chance of "getting rare materials" means that I have a 5% higher chance of getting ecto, that means for each salvage (with ecto possibility) I gain on average ecto_price * 5 / 100 coins, which at an ecto price of 16 silver would be 80 copper, which is greater than the price difference of 30 copper. In fact it's exactly 50c as you said so maybe you used the same calculation. It's a higher chance on ectos vs. a higher chance on symbols/charms, so the ecto price is not the only thing that has to be considered. The 50c come from a spreadsheet I created back when the runcrafter salvage-o-matic was released to compare the different salvage-o-matics/kits. As the prices are taken from the api, it should still be up-to-date: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qLrFPcTJeoM-QvYl49OwgEXHwfHVN_-R4aSKopr98xk/edit?usp=sharing -
Silver-fed vs. Runecrafter's Salvage-o-Matic
Schimmi.6872 replied to Taylan.2187's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
The 5% difference is enough to make the Silver-Fed the better option for salvaging rares (> lvl 68). But atm ectos aren't very expensive and so the difference isn't very high (about 50c per rare). -
Guild PvP missions not showing as complete?
Schimmi.6872 replied to matt.4783's topic in Players Helping Players
Haven't done PvP-missions for ages, but as far as I can remember, you need to assign the members to teams too (4th tab in the guild menu), but I'm not sure about it? -
You can farm as many shards as you want/ can per day (koda farm groups e.g. are common in the lfg). Timegated are the crystal-drops (3 per week for daylies) and the daylie-chests that spawn on the floor after the shiverpeak-strike and the bjora-strikes (mastery-chests). I'm not sure about forging steel, but I think you can open the chests more times per day.

F99 MAMA CM - NO DAMAGE TAKEN SOLO
Schimmi.6872 replied to Sesshi.2610's topic in Instanced Group Content
It's the name of the first boss of the challenge mode, very likely it's the abbreviation of the boss name from the normal mode - Multiform Ambulatory Mobile Artillery -
apparenlty its tracked in the api since if it wasent pages like this wouldent work https://killproof.me/sample Afaik the api only tracks the kills for the current week (for raids), the linked website just stores the data starting with the date of your registration.

It's not similar, the first one was an exploit, because it circumvented the mechanics of the tribulation mode where all people of the group have to reach a checkpoint. In contrast in Raids, Fractals etc. there is no difference between a group that carries a raid-buyer and a group with a dead or bad player, they still have to do the same mechanics.
