Verdant Brink Crowbars?

Hello, I wanted to ask if it is possible for them to put a Crowbar vendor like in the other maps since I always spend my time doing events which you have failed because there are no people

There's plenty of events that you should be able to do alone, such as killing a mordrem (they're usually veterans), escorting pact scouts to rally points, capturing and defending rally points, the Jaka Itzel events (hunting events, clearing the area, food baskets). It's what I do when I need some extra currency. I also keep a character parked on the Matriarch platform and try to do it once a day (I think it's 10 crowbars but not 100% sure).

Well it seems that you've never been there since I thought that too. I kill the veterans I do the events and take out the keys or surprise they do not throw keys all the events on the map check the wiki and they are meta events on a specific day and night

It's not inherently wrong. It's just a question of whether changing existing systems (including considering all implications, implementing the change, quality assurance, release, ...) is worth the time/resource investment compared to utilizing the existing system (seeking out the multitude of solo-able events on the map and/or joining events with others where possible).

 

If your problem is that you feel unable to get enough crowbars, then there might be plenty of helpful tips to fix that without changing the game. If on the other hand you don't like any of the current aquisition methods available, you are better off giving a convincing argument why investing into changing the game is worth it (since it always comes at the detriment of unspecified other content areas the resources required could be spent on instead).

Maybe you checked a different Wiki?  Or, are only playing at night in-game?

The vets spawned after the daytime chains do not drop crowbars.

The crowbars do pile up quick just from daytime events. Vendor really isn’t needed.

I created this post so that a GM can see it and evaluate it for its implementation and if more people see it and like the idea, comment not so that they tell me what to do, I already i know.

People who are saying getting crowbars are easy during the daytime events are correct. And usually I just pop a mentor tag while I'm doing a daytime event chain, call it out in map chat and I get enough people to finish that chain.  Asking them to change the game because you can't do  something other people aren't having a problem with is in itself a problem.

 

You could also find a friend, play with them and profit.

There are numerous ways to get crowbars, but you'd rather have Anet change the game to accommodate what you want. There are supposed to be events that require groups in end game areas like HoT. Learn to either make those groups, find those groups, get friends, or focus on daytime events and get rewards from the events you can.  

There's no reason for devs to change the game.  We see this request hardly ever.

So a GM can see it and evaluate it for its implementation?  You think that with a looming xpac launch, they're gonna concern themselves with the drop rate of an item from a six year old expansion that has literally never been a problem in the six years it's existed? 

 

For more people to see it and like the idea?  More people are seeing it.  They don't like it.  It's completely unnecessary and they're attempting to be reasonable and explain to you exactly why this "problem" isn't a problem and hasn't been a problem in the six years verdant brink has existed.

 

Telling people you only made the post so other people can agree with you isn't how public forums work.

Not sure if your NA or EU but there are guilds and trains that run t4 maps every once in a while, I'd look into that, as well as that map is an event daily once in a while, so be sure to keep an eye out for that if your wanting to play in a full map. Also if you have a spare alt just park at Matriarch and pop in for that one boss (lots do this so almost never an issue having people to kill her), and choose Airship Engine Case from the Hero's Choice Chest, that's an easy 10+ crowbars for less than 5 minutes of work.

I mean your saying you have an issue, people are giving you suggestions for a solution to your issue that isn't so drastic as needing dev's to update the game for you, so yes, you are asking people even if you seem to not want it and just want the dev's to personally cater to you instead of finding a reasonable way to farm crowbars.

If you get the Ley-Energy Matter Converter, you can get 1 free HoT chest key per day (so either 1 Crowbar, Exalted Key, Vial of Chak Acid, or Machete).  It's earned by killing the Mouth of Mordremoth in 20 minutes or less.

I’ll add my voice to the crowd saying this suggestion isn’t necessary. I’ll go further and say I actually prefer the way it is. There’s an awful lot of this game where you can farm currency and buy things. There’s something nice about having to do the events to stock up keys.

I saw a similar request in Dragonfall last night after the meta. Someone wanted to know if they could buy more keys, and they were informed that they couldn’t, but had to do the events to get them. I think that’s pretty cool game design and would be sad to see it changed.

My son and I go to VB to get exotic armor for new characters on builds fairly regularly, so I know it’s still totally possible.
