Any encounter where there is an attack which needs paying attention to and which results in significant impact, you will see a ton of players bite the dust. Most recent example: public Umbriel convergence as example. The "tells" for this one are rather simple: 1. The boss slams the ground and debris appears 2. The boss raises his fist, white safety zones appear behind every debris All it takes is some minor situaitonal awareness. Or go do Tequatl (much older content) and see how many people still get downed/die to the various AOEs around his feet because they just don't move. It's not a UI problem. An effect without a cause, how interesting. There is a reason: there are a lot of new players getting to this meta recently. There's an uptick in players dying of this mechanic. It's 2 years later and this event still sees lots of people die every time this attack goes off. So you can continue being ignorant or you can acknowledge that there is a reason this is still happening. There would be nothing wrong with a UI warning in time to get to safety, but you're saying this like it's somehow difficult to see a gigantic robotic arm slam down across an entire section of the field. I get it if you're new to the fight. Maybe you don't immediately realize that this telegraph is the boss providing you with the counter to his own insta-kill attack.
