Hey, good timing! We'll be publishing a post tomorrow (Wednesday) morning that is all about changes we've made based on your feedback from the spears beta event, so keep an eye out for that.

Looking forward to it and anticipate some good changes. Cynical , but not looking forward to the 'why didn't you listen to the "entire community" and completely rework everything to do with the weapon. What's the point in feedback if you're not going to listen...'

To be fair, at least for Mesmer they did take a few of the rifle suggestions on board, but ended up applying them later to the spear instead.

It would be nice if suggestions get applied to the weapon (and expansion) for which they're intended this time...?

First Anet beta? They took zero of the feedback from EoD class/weapon betas and released untamed and catalyst in hilarious states. It took them 2 expacs to make untamed a real class, and catalyst still isn't one.

To be fair, rifle was unusable during beta, just removing the delay on rifle 2 was enough to make it the best support weapon.

@Terrorhuz.4695 I was mostly thinking of the numerous suggestions for the rifle phantasm...there were a lot of "firing squad" and other multi-illusion suggestions that didn't make it to rifle, but they got adapted into the spear's phantasm instead. Better late and on a different weapon than never I suppose. 🤷‍♂️
