I'm a big fan of ArenaNet, but this borders on a scam tbh. Y'all are paying nearly the price of an entire expansion for some textures.

I'm a game developer myself, so I know how much the games industry sucks, and how poorly developers (and especially artists) are paid for their hard work, but these are literally pixels that someone put together in maybe a few days tops. Reskins are the most basic of basics, and something that game modders do in their free time, not what should be expected of a professional game development studio.

Compare this to things like, Shimmerwing, Shrine Guardian, and Magnificent Hummingbird.. its kind of sad.

To put this into perspective, it would be like putting the texture of Sunrise over Dawn and selling it as a legendary, even though you lose all the effects and everything that makes it special aside from the basic look of having a legendary weapon.

I would MAYBE pay 600-800 for one of the skins (and would have bought the gems with money), but I really don't want the others. So no money from me. Because I already exhaused my monthly budget for games pretty thoroughly.

I really like the set. I'm using 3 of the 5. I mean, people just payed 2,000 for a single skin, one that I didn't care for. I basically payed 2,000 for 3 skins that I really like. I have no problem with that.
