Good player stacking; discus

This is like stacking the Supermen versus normals. So bad players like using hot knife thru butter will easily be dealt with.

You may not notice this but this is the basis of transferring. Good players attract all.

How then do we deal with this?

Notice if you can't find a solution that's ok. Because it's like the labors of hercules, anet has yet found a solution since the start of wvw.

What Ive seen is high activity attracts even more players.

Good players does not necessarily mean the best . But right now the top 3 eu is not Deso gandi and piken

But bb/Whiteside/Riverside

Activities in a way can be considered strength .

The idea even if the best player is not in the server but if more 2nd best or the top 10 is in another server, stacking, the best will still lose. Tis the ratio of good players to pugs.

Also it's not skill alone that is something to consider. Consider charisma and ability to organize. Or roughly the pugs are generally knowledgeable on what to do.

Join good players? No thanks ?I would rather fight them.More challenging.

One versus many will always be fun to see :)

That attitude. It is like mew, rare in this wvw world.

But, lots of activity is also a sign that it's a server with many good players .

Being populated doesn't mean people will go there. But when there are those who is like a coordinator who makes wvw worth playing.

The regular guys who are good in wvw and play together. People will join their team and play more.

Good pugs who know what to do attract like pugs too.

And for servers which are full but for pve content well, people will go there for that reason.

Consider the formula it only takes one skirmish for a player to be considered a server's population.

That's 2 hours spread within the week

Let me ask you. The players you play with are they at least decent bordering good?

I.e. geared wvw wise. Participate in coms. Scout locations being attacked etc. And regularly talk with you atleast twice a week?

Unless you roam, but even roamers would have one or two friends who have similar taste

I quoted "good players attrackt all" and I partly disagree, its activity that draws ppl to specific servers. Open activities ofc, not that elite fight guild running with hidden tag.

Actually my views are from a roaming perspective haha.A few vs a few.

Currently my favorite servers to fight against are Mag (always stacked with good roamers) and NSP (XOXO, QQ, ROAM etc.)NSP is the new hyper stacked roaming server. So many scary roamers there now.I feel excited to be fighting them this week.

Hidden tags dont attract players. Just those who want to be left alone.

How do you deal with this? Well you introduce alliances and make it even worse :D

Hey if it works. Some people need to be wipped. Worse case scenario is simply to get wiped or stop facing the enemy :)

It takes a level of charisma to still be followed after shaming players of reality.

Actually it'll be the same. Organized guilds want to be allies with similar types . A strong one will attract those with same interest.

I think a guild will always be better at stacking than a random zerg. and since there are some gvg you have to use combos to maximum degree in order to profit from them. ofc the guilds needs to be big enough to for a zerg. I had a guild zerg against a random zerg once and the guild manaed to make a very big clean line of warding around them forcing the other to go the long way around so the other zerg got a save disengage.

@pninak.1069 said:oh It is not about the autoattack and pvp. Since im pvp I look at my char's condi stacks and wait for spikes instead of avoiding them outright. I mean stuff like skill 3 on axe warrior for example. if you stow it at the right time would the projectile be thrown already but won't do dmg aswell as get reduced cooldown due to midcast cancel?

This is like a random post not related to the topic. Did you miss post?

I like your optimistic approach. Me, I am more of a pessimist, I see where things might go wrong with alliances and I brelieve it will be made worse than it is right now. IN fact I am pretty sure of it.

Hehe. This isn't the the topic too.

But if it is like about groups, a knowledgeable team which knows the game mode will beat randoms who don't work together. :)

The topic is good players attract all and what can we do about it?

This attraction is like stacking players in a server which causes population imbalance where A has more numbers than B and C. And if A is filled with good players B and C won't be able to fight

Was it optimistic? I meant even with alliances, we'd all still try to make allies with whom we can enjoy having fun with, depending on what we want out of the game.

its all about the commander. good commanders are now the basis on which I choose my transfer options. also to be in a guild that isn't a bunch of chest thumping teenagers is nice. great manders will always make the best out of any situation, they will always find something to do and everyone will have fun doing it. so that's what we gotta do: encourage, train, and support good manders. the rest will follow.
