4-5 condi revs in most matches

This isn't intended to be a "nerf rev" thread, but why is condi rev okay and everyone is focused on gutting thief and ranger right now?

the pack has already made their remark about Condi Rev, they have just moved on to next agenda being thief and ranger

It’s not ok because it can completely counter comp what was the previous meta in NA, entirely by its self. Having 1 condition rev on other team completely changes the way the game will happen because it’s that good.

Because:

• Once you past gold3/plat1 people aren t bots anymore
• the burst potential is way limited compare to the actual cthief
• the disengage potential is limited compare to cthief
• the toxicity of the playstyle is bearable

When biodiversity is destroyed, it's more like this

I'm only noticing 1-2 revs per game at most (Not counting myself when I'm not playing F/A ele), but Idk, maybe that changes in higher tiers?

I'm seeing a lot more ranger/necro/guardian atm.

Because it's still an easy brain dead build that wipes teams and involves minimal risk. It needs to be gutted.

Um i disagree there, as gutting could kill biodiversity among classes and leave them unviable.

can't they just overhaul and fix rev so they take more effort for the damage and nerf the overperformance?

I rarely see more than one Revenant of any kind in my matches.Even among those, more than half of them are Dual Sword+Shiro monkeys.

One of tourneys today was won by 3 condi rev teamThey spawn camped us in final match

Its not hard to see why. IL+Crystal Hybernation is a huge finger to any focus fire and allows for a ton of durability. Their burst is rather mediocre, but they have a TON of cover condis and condi variety. I'd argue condi rev's damage is balanced, but the built in durability you get for free is the problem.

Nerf IL. Its aways been the stand-out ability. Its one of the biggest reasons to go herald and is clearly overperforming compared to every other invulnerability. At worst, 3s invuln on 30s cooldown, at best a full heal for 3s.

Because condi revs are stupidly easy to counter.
