[BUG] Recording Devices for Sandswept Isles Stack reset from ~20 to 1.

Figured this is similar to the harvesting tool bug. All of my unused recording devices had disappeared save only 1. This is frustrating because they're expensive to get and blocking progress on a collection.

Whether this be merged to the same thread. I think we need to start looking out for stack able items that are being reset. Anyone else have anything they realized they're missing?

Same, I had 17 Recording Device's, now I only have 1.

This just happened to me too. I bought all 21 originally and upon completing my 9th recording an hour ago, the rest of my 12 recording devices disappeared...

I went from 17 down to 0. Where it was located in my inventory now sits the Fisher Recording. This was the first recording I got after the update today.

Just logged in and I only have 1 recording device and no return on the crystals.

Just logged in myself. Bought 16 yesterday used one and now the other 15 I had are gone. No return on anything as well

So far, only gathering tools and recordings. Salvage kits, for example, had no similar bug. Everything else I had stacked in the bank still has numbers. (Black Lion tickets, statuettes, casino coins, etc.)

I was affected by this too, even if it can't be reverted could you at least refund the crystals Anet?

I have this issue too, had 6 recordings left to do and was reduced to one recorder.

On reddit, one of the devs mentioned that while the symptoms are identical, the cause of the two bugs was different. They are still working on something for the recorders (I didn't see an ETA though).

I had 11 devices stacked and today I had zero. I had to buy them again and noticed that this time they do not stack in one inventory slot.

I had 15 devices and now I only have 1. :( It took 75 of the new map currency crystals to buy those. This is a bug for sure.

Aaah, so that was the problem. Yesterday I did one of the event and I didn't get the quest item. Then I realised that I had no more recording devices in my inventory. Weird. So I had to buy them again and repeat the event.

Same here. I had 16 in my bank, and one on a character. The bank stack went to 1, and it will not stack with the one that I had on my character. My wife also had a stack of 18 in her bank that went down to 1.

Has already been acknowledged by ANet and they are working on it. It is similar in behavior to the tool issue, but actually an unrelated bug.

Same problem here as well. I finished the Deadhouse event earlier today and didn't get the quest item. After checking my inventory, I noticed that my recording devices had disappeared.

all my remaining recording devices has disappeared after doing 1 event .... i didnt get my crystals back!!! i want my stuff back pls anet !!

Same problem here. I had 11 recording devices in bag, did fishing event, and all of them disappeared... (got fisher recording at least).Please look into this issue!

Can we hope on seeing the devices returned (or at least their cost refunded) without our further interaction, or do we need to write mails to support? Will the solution be different for those that used up the one remaining device (and so have none now), or will it be the same?

What's interesting is the pile of 15 recording devices turned into 1 recording device and when I get on the gw2 efficiency website it says the pile is still at 15. :open_mouth:
