  1. It feels like we've gone back 7+ years, with the skill lag, that we are experiencing .
  2. 1: Profession and skill balance. 2. Skill lag 3. Server population balance and distribution. 4. Bringing more players, guilds and commanders to the game mode.
  3. Yeah, it still is a problem, especially in this meta, outside of Reset night.
  4. Not anytime soon, based on the last beta. Which fixed little, in reality nothing, after 8 betas. With the current state of the populations in wvw, it's not really surprising, after almost 12 years since this game, first launched. Then you hax some of segregated guild communities, which from what I've seen, are even worse than current wve communities despite the Linking system and the. transfers. During the last beta, they paired multiple guild communities on some worlds which used differemt discords, also alot were running just closed tryhard blob squads and not that many open tags , partly because of how stacked the world was Too.
  5. Idk what you're smoking, Druid was more viable thanks to karakosa relic heals, which got nerfed fairly quickly. They still do good condi cleanse, but hvindi is better as a secondary support. Classes/specs are viable than you depending, on how tryhard the comp is for each squad tbh. I don't like BvB that much as a result, even though I learned to play Heal scourge, which is fun, until it turned into the Chrono stacking turtle meta. .
  6. Nerfing boon strip in large scale wvw, shouldn't be considered at this point, even though support chrono needed toning down. Infact, there should be buffs to boon strip, for some classes/specs.
  7. Seemed fine today in T1, Blob vs Blob, but in T5, we couldn't even weapon swap, for at least a few minutes.
  8. It's the first week after the relink, either way population balance won't be great in any system atm, as you saw during the 8th beta, at least on the EU.
  9. I usually end up, going back to my main account , from 12 years ago on the same server. Mainly because, whilst their are different players, guilds and open tag leads, the same kind of player mindset and drama I've experienced, hasn't been drastically different. Although, the past 2 and half years, my Alt is the most played account and my guild moved. The server Linking system and player habits (bandwagons and drama), ended up burning out people.
  10. Honestly, I don't get how you would want to be on two different communities with different accounts, unless to leech content, but I'm used to old school WvW communities, where there were still alot of transfers.
  11. It's 2024 and people complain about Thieves, in terms of roaming at least, when there are other specs with builds, which can be 'unkillable' too. I remember the days, when there was culling too. Nevermind1v1, which the game mode, won't ever be balanced for.
  12. The Spanish that don't mind leading in English, left Baruch AFAIK, but then again, mixing Spanish and German servers, doesn't make much sense tbh.
  13. Yeah, there were alot of closed squads, the worst was to EBG for me during the last week on Moogoloo (EU), but some don't even run the Current meta and get stomped anyway, even if they go open.

Large Guilds stacked on one world/server using different discords, queue bugs, skill lag and less empty worlds with mainly Pugs and Small guilds.

It's been happening for 10+ years, but the 'problem' with most National, not International servers, at least with these German servers, is that they still use Teamspeak and lead in German, unless stated. There's a bit of a language barrier, on French servers though, unless you run into a lead, that can also lead in English, I imagine the same with some Spanish. The beta was such a pain to coordinate on some worlds though, while others were pretty empty.
  16. Every system is bad, but I can go how good wvw was 10 years ago, yet it won't matter, because even though server stacking (and drama) still happened, the active wvw population; among players, commanders and guilds, was way more higher too.
  17. I really tried giving it a chance, but it has just been a not much better experience, little progress has been made, not surprisingly. No matter the duration of the beta, they could of done longer betas recently and you would see the same result. It feels too little, too late IMO, whereas they should maybe tweak the Linking system better, even merge servers, rather then bring in a half baked WR system. It doesn't even seem to help balance things any better, after several betas, especially without the Alliances functionality. I['ve heard some Servers/matchups, were really dead, whilst a Server I was on had 3 different Discords, to join..
  18. There has been several betas though. Since 2021, they have said Alliances were coming soon or this year, back in an article that year. So we were prepared, only problem, the amount of guilds, commanders and players are probably less without the wvw rush/bonus wxp events, that were during every beta.
  19. Fairer yes, better? No. I think it's half baked, without the Alliance functionality and guilds being distributed unevenly, when the game mode lacks those numbers, to keep things balanced anymore.
  20. Post expansion metas, where some Elite specs were OP at the start, like Scourge and Spellbreaker, after PoF came out. Big damage, bigger player caps on shades and bubbles, you know.
  21. I tried playing dps last Night, fun times with skill lag though. So basically when that happens, you usually have to stand still and AA, sadly. Although that's the meta, especially in bvb honestly.
  22. I don't think this issue, is just based on reset in some worlds, with so many guilds, small and big, when some end up more stacked, than more emptier worlds.
  23. One my accounts, is basically FoW and other communities/alliances and a French guild, so I don't believe the system is at anywhere near being ready after 8 betas. No fow, hasn't got an Alliance or community guild, AFAIK either.

You have to invite people to the same 'Community' Guild to play with friends, in this system without Alliances functionality, but the main problem is the distribution of players and Guilds, it's quite a mess. No system can fix this problem, unless there's multi-layers of algorithm between size of guilds and players and guilds not in one big guild, an alliance or guild system and even a bigger more active population.
