Odd. That's very peculiar. I know this question is funny, but have you updated your graphics drivers in the last year? (even worse, have you done a full reinstall of GW2, not a repair?) I haven't tried SoTO yet, so I'm curious if I'll crash, too, lol. It's just so random when it happens.

Are you using Windows 10/11? What graphics card? Drivers? Potential hardware issues (RAM issues)? Other installed programs? Is everything up to date? My crashes are usually related to "Hi, I tried reaching a memory address that doesn't exist, and it made me angy, so here's a blue screen with a sad face" and "Hi, I'm an AMD driver, and I am still a trashcan even though it's been over a decade since you last had an AMD/ATI graphics card, and whoops I crashed your GW2 right when pinata spawned sorry bro."

The only reason why someone would "bot" the bandits for a week is for the bags they drop, but, even then, there are more "efficient" and valuable AFK farms than that. It doesn't take a week to AFK for 100 bandits.

I have...one time...and it was on my alt account of like 300 hours vs my main account of 7600+ hours. 😑😭Main account? Probably done pinata well over 1000 times and nothing. Alt account? Third pinata. Simultaneous joy and rage. I feel like "account luck" is real. 🙃 (throwing in an edit: this part is meant as a joke, not serious)

Big Anet W! Would love to see more super challenging PvE content for the hardcores here while also doing what FFXIV does with the multiple tiers of their raids/trials. 😍

Hahaha, yup, kind of. You need the CM currency for him, but, otherwise, you can claim him on any tier after getting the currency (I double checked the wiki). Fortunately, I do have the Unstable Fractal Essences needed from the small handful of times I did CMs. 🙃

I think you can get it from the T1 version of the Fractal, too 😂We wouldn't even have to work too hard for it! One day, I'll stop being lazy and go get it 🥹

Yeah 😂I'm only missing the Fractals one, and the only reason I'm missing that is I haven't done Fractals in a longgggg time. SAB cat (they made the location more inaccessible vs the original cheesed location, and I am BAD at SAB) and the two WvW cats were pure pain. 😭

It'd be nice to get a title for getting all the home instance cats because a couple of them are awful to get 😂😭🙃

Listen, if they brought back "Accelerated Reader tests" that gave points that I could redeem for personal pan pizzas again, that'd be great. 😂 (sorry to those who had a real rough time with those tests!)

A solid majority of the playerbase is PvE/PvE-only. So much so that some think that WvW for a GoB for legendary weapons is a travesty beyond measure. That said, it'd be great to have some PvP/WvW specials, yes, if only for the memes. We'd get some really good threads here on the forums + on Reddit if Anet did so.

People forget (or weren't here for) how long it took to get the different LWS episodes + no predictable release schedule within those LWS. ------ Taking a break from the game is perfectly fine. GW2 is a game you can take a break from and come back even years later with little to no punishment for your absence. Maybe you've "outgrown" GW2 entirely, and that's fine. There are lots of games out there to play, and you don't have to limit yourself to MMOs (imo, the MMO market in general is a bit of a mess right now, so not marrying yourself to any one MMO is probably a wise idea). Take some time off and do something else. That's okay. Maybe you'll come back to GW2, maybe you won't, and that's okay.

Fixed an issue that caused Cerus to gain extra health after completing the 80% split phase in the Temple of Febe Strike Mission's challenge mode. To preserve encounter balance, Cerus's total health has been adjusted. Did she mention somewhere else that they're nerfing the HP (versus this "fixes bug but we increased HP to a lesser amount to offset not having the huge bugged HP")? That's from yesterday's bugfix.

In what universe are you required to complete the Special category? You're missing out on a whole whopping 14(?) gold in the course of 3 months by not doing this WV special. Seriously, if this special isn't for you, it isn't for you. You'll clear out the shop fast enough just off of dailies and weeklies. Don't worry about it.

The "Commando" class reveal was an April Fool's prank. The Commandos do make an appearance in Jahai, though, lol.

Weapon proficiencies and new weapons for classes are the "elite spec" this time.

Money and materials. My alt accounts can make me a lot of money just off of doing the WV dailies for 5-8 mins each (and I don't even do them every day). The one-time $7-15 payment for my HoT/PoF accounts has long ago paid out for me, both in direct gold/time costs + how many mats I've saved my main account from having to buy/farm. Alts themselves? Well, I like playing multiple classes, and this isn't FFXIV where I can swap a weapon on my character and immediately be a different class. Also like parking alt characters in other locations or using them for specific purposes (like I have an Elementalist whose entire purpose is for WvW with any WvW boosters running and the like, while my main Ele roams the land freely, unburdened by the weight of ticking boosters).

Make all 18 pieces anyway and get the new title "Wow. That's quality armor." :D (yes, that is a new title ingame 😂)

I've never used legendaries on any account that doesn't own all the expacs (sans SoTO), so I've never known (until this moment?) that prior legendaries gave you access to unowned expac-specific stats. Because it doesn't make sense or is intuitive to me to give unowned expac stats on legendary gear?

I read it = "I interpreted what Anet said as you needed to own SoTO to get SoTO relics" because having SoTO-specific relics unlocked as a non-SoTO account doesn't make sense. Just like I don't get weapon proficiencies/legendaries/elite specs/etc for expacs I don't own, I don't expect to get SoTO-specific items as a non-SoTO owner, even though I have the legendary relic. If I buy/own SoTO, I expect to immediately get my SoTO relics on my legendary relic. After Expac 5 comes out, I know that, even if I own Expac 5, I will not immediately unlock Expac 5's relics and will have to unlock them as I play. That's how I read what Anet said.

I read it as you needed to own SoTO to get SoTO relics (which are unlocked automatically if you own SoTO) and that all future expacs will require you to unlock that expac's relics versus automatically getting them at that expac's release. I can see how people read it otherwise, but, yeah, always thought owning SoTO was going to be a requirement for SoTO relics with the legendary relic. .-.

You don't own SoTO, so you don't get SoTO relics, which makes sense? Get SoTO, get SoTO relics.
