I wish they would speed up the wait time for clock tower. It why I dont even try anymore, too long of downtime considering how many attempts you have to make before getting anywhere.

Why must it be for wvw? Not every elite is meta in every game mode as we can see. If there is a better spec for wvw thats whats used no matter. Did PoF specs knock out all the previous specs for wvw? Im curious scrapper daredevil chrono herald are pretty meta in wvw still those are from HoT right?

Maybe they are going to introduce encounters where STH works. And yes I played mana healers in a few games, STH is more efficient, and aoe healing is done for raid wide damage mechanics.

I think thats not a good excuse, its dont matter what code they used designers and developers have to deal with old code all the time when their previous devs leave. If you know code you know how to work with it.

You do know thief isnt locked into healer in the new elite right? I mean they can go damage instead

Honestly killing off modes is something that will chase off most mmo players than are used to playing in dungeons and raids, even those coming from other games.

So what you are saying is they cant walk and chew gum at the same time.

Dungeons are dead and its sad, I have never even seen half the dungeons in this game. But no one wants to do them, I think if they tied a legendary dungeon armor set to them they would be very busy. But it looks like along with dungeons anet is killing off raids fracts in favor of strikes. Thats really sad because few people want to do strikes either, so they will stop updating them too.

I guess people never played healers in other games. personally I love a balance of single target and aoe heals, it makes the most fun and interesting gameplay. hitting aoe all the time is boring AF, where as with STH you have to watch your team mates health better, and make fast critical choices. Lets face it healing is boring in this game, stack heal /yawn

2 min is a long time in gaming, they need to let us buff and heal the mech if they are giving it a 2 min cd on resummon. That is ridiculous amount of down time for an entire traitline.

I agree that specs should be at least viable across the game, but sadly thats not how it is. And really its not how it is in any other Mmorpg , there is best or meta in all these games, and benchwarmers too. This is something i have seen players rail about in every mmorpg i played. why is x class able to be best at y, and z class sucks at it? I think its just the nature of having a game with so many different classes specs abilities that its too much work to balance them all for every mode.

well look at it this way, not every elite works in wvw as it is. There are specs you get 💩on if you take them there, if the mech is not wvw oriented it wont be the only one thats not. Not everything is going to be meta for every game content, its the same with raids, high level fracts there are the best specs and builds then there are the trash specs and builds no one takes. But no one seems outraged over that, so mech will or it wont, just like every build and spec now.

I sympathize I really do, as a new player when I started in 2018 I came from wow and FF. I was used to buying the latest xpack and getting full access to everything in the game. When I came here it said B2P so I assumed you buy the game and all the content was there, the gem shop was for utility and fashion. When I saw that the stories were not included as part of the game I bought it did upset me. I think at least back then it wasnt very clear to new players, this is what most new players get upset about. I have been able to get the story through rerelease only because I was informed they would be coming back this year. I had quit in 2019, if someone had not told me I would have missed them all. So I would just hold out till they do it again in a few years or save gold and convert to gems if I were you, then buy them that way. There are going to be a lot of new pissed players when EoD releases and it dont have the LWS in them. Because new players are new they dont know that there are whole maps ect they wont be getting when they buy EoD.

we dont know what kind of shield it has, really what kind of defense. I read it has 45k hp a breakbar so if the enemy team has to spend time to kill the mech and break its bar, they are going to be left open to your team bursting them. It comes down to making a decision, kill the mech or kill its owner. Its all moot anyway tomorrow we will see what it does.

Well they did say in the livestream that the pet AI for the ranger elite had been improved because now you actually will use pet commands and control the pet. All the pet skills are open and keybindable with more direct control

Oh im waiting for beta ofc, but if it plays half as well as it seems then that will be great. I dont see how anyone can really say its bad no one has played it. It looks good, its different and I hope it plays good, I think people hate change and thats a big part of the QQ

All im hoping for is the Devs please rethink the Untamed color theme its pretty yuck, and pleaase make sure the pet AI for both Mech and Untamed are not slow and function properly! Other than that im loving these last 3 specs to pieces! But please do something about that most horrendous empower color and the pet AI

Im telling you after seeing the leather specs, everyone else is crying in their beer. They really shine, putting everything else to shame.

Im waiting for beta but I gotta say, these three last specs are the best of them all. Im very excited to try them out, they look amazing. Looks like leather is back in fashion baby!!
