I just got home and have no idea whats going on. It would be really unfair if this was something that only happened a short time while people were working. I may get a little salty.

I think it should have more flight freedom at least, do away with that terrible meter and just allow it to fly/glide for a decent distance. First off its so slow and restrictive its not really a flying mount, and you use up most of the flight time just getting the thing in the air. Honestly though true flight in the game isnt going to ruin it like some think. You will still have places mounts are not allowed, so really nothing will change but the wonderful feeling of flight.

thats what i thought too, it feels like The End , is foreshadowing. Time will tell, but there will be many ticked off people if this is the end.

I say no, because mmorpgs are a major investment to players. We play them for long long times, we get attached to our characters and everything we have accomplished. If they stopped supporting the game, then a lot of people would be really upset. If they said they are making gw3, then unless i can port my characters over to it, no dice.

It can barely lift off, it uses up half its bar just to get in the air..i hate the thing personally. If you are going to do a flying mount then do it right. That energy bar is a problem, its usage is way too much too fast. Like i said just getting up into the air uses it up then you hop glide till you can land and regen the bar. All the other mounts work well from the get go, this thing is like the red headed black sheep step child of mounts. Its like ..hype a flying mount, but not really because its not a flying mount, it barely stays aloft, unless you jump off the top of a mountain lol. For the amount of kitten you have to do to get this thing, it isnt worth it in its current state.

It does. Skyscale is a flying mount. Flying mounts in GW2 are a luxury. For me, the collection really makes sense, I knew they will ask for currency since they announced skyscale as a season finale mount. I saw a flying mount and I said "Ok, this will be another luxury mount." Anyway, those currencies are easy to get. I get a tons over time only from my home nodes. Its not even a flying mount, its a glide/hover/climb mount, i have had flying mounts and this aint it.

The answer would be an option to turn down player spell effects, but they dont seem to want to listen to everyone when they ask for it. It is literally seizure inducing on big fights. Cant see the ground cant see the target cant see anything but a rainbow flashing of bright colors blotting out the sun.

Im not a fan of the no range mentality. I hate the stack or die concept its too simple, and healing not having the ability to target to heal single players is meh. A good heal class in a game would have a combination of aoe and targeted single heals to keep it interesting along with buff and boon. The stack thing makes everything too simple. I like diversity, and hate constantly being in the melee pit.

Who is Mother? I have heard its the sea dragon. I have also heard that when a elder dragon dies its magic goes to the rest of the elders, with the closest gaining the most magic. Could it be the sea dragon is manipulating events in order to collect all their magic?

We will not get cantha because of this. And with all the new pc rules about cultural appropriation you can bet someone would raise a stink over it.

Arcdps reads the combat logs from the game is what it says, then puts that into a readable output in the meter. They dont support it, but they are not going to ban for it either. The reason they dont support it is because it can break your game if its outdated or a bad file, you will crash or have game issues that anet is not going to help you with if from an addon. That being said arcdps gets broken frequently with game updates so bear that in mind.

Define "break everything". Sure "it sounds bad" to those who are concerned about balance but if you actually think about it you would realise that it wouldn't break anything that isn't already "broken" because of the other mounts. For starters you can only use it in OW PvE maps so it wouldn't break WvW and instanced content. JPs are already engulfed in "no mount zones" so the only thing left to break is map completion, problem is griffon + springer already completely "breaks" this part of the game. Even with unrestricted flight there's nothing left to break here. I agree it would not break anything. We already have mounts that get us pretty much anywhere. And yeah there is no overworld pvp that people will swoop down and attack other players from the mount, jumping puzzles are restricted but mesmer portal negates them anyway. This new mount is really a bad mount, its far too restrictive and its movements are klutzy and slow. Im not in any hurry to get it, even the warclaw was better i spammed wvw to get that. Im barely doing the collections for this mount. I think people saying it will break the game are not looking at the big picture, griffon+springer broke the game a long time ago. For all the trouble this mount is it should just be able to fly, this antiquated idea that flying will break the game is nonsense. There is nothing to break in the game from flight.

I think first you have to understand the force it takes to generate a displacement of ocean water large enough to create a tsunami. Kralk falling out of the air into the ocean does nothing to displace the volume of water needed for a tsunami. Thats what im afraid of, we are just out of luck. I just happened to look at the forum headers today or i would never have known about this. I would have wasted my time completing and never got my charges.

Ill keep this brief 2 things, with the introduction of the griffon we had a taste of gliding flight on a mount. Now with the skyscale we take it a step further, and really start to get that flying feel. Does Arenanet think flying could be introduced into the game, there seems to be a demand for it since people got a taste of flying. Is the fact that Aurene absorbed Joko's lich magic leave her open to becoming a undead dragon, or possibly possessed by him? And where did she fly off to, was it out to sea?

Should be fixed now, as long as character is L80. Whoa what about transmute charges? and was it always this way? Couldnt any level get a key as a possible reward before, i swear i did last year on a level40 something

Did they say how long they will be disabled? Im holding off playing because im about to map complete.
