@Anet, IF you are using variable names within a structure (as I hope), realigning the pertinent structures would break all of the peek/poke bot engines and the regular users wouldn't know the difference. The structures to consider location data: nodes, objectives and current location plus the skill control structures. Any APIs you have in place would hide this change. This would block the farming, PvP and WvW botting with one change. AFK farming is a separate issue. Since you force a reload and new servers with every released client build, the shift can be a varying private amount applied for every build. The bans and the associated customer service headaches would be completely avoided.

Strikes and Raids have never been attractive to the majority of gw2 players. The people who like them are on hiatus until new content arrives.

All of my glyphs have paid for themself with the extra gold. But, as was said you must watch the market prices to maximize your income. Right now almost all of the materials market is dead because we haven't had any new crafting except the occaissional ridiculously expensive collection builds. Even promotion of mats is not a profit ( except for a few overall )

They don't seem to like open Betas. Testers seem to be in-house or must sign a Non-disclosure agreement. They like the surprise for the community, PLUS it gives an unfair market advantage to testers when the content releases. We've had this trouble in the past. ( Cauliflower anyone? )

Why not try to change the meta events into something people want to do regardless of rewards? Something that doesn't drag on as they do at least. Those metas were full for years with plenty of challenge and rewards. We loved them. ( If you need to complete metas for achievements hit them when they are a daily and be sure to use LFG to find an active map ) But as was said, there are so many maps and the veteran players are bored having done every meta 40+ times. The game is VERY active when new content brings them back. @Anet, consider posting a weekly/monthly schedule of PoF and HoT dailies and have the /wiki curate them. This would not disturb the feel of the game one bit.

I was annoyed at these things first. THEN I made myself improve. PoF and HoT were never meant to be a face-roll. The FUN is in the challenge. Learn mob behaviors and mechanics and you will NEVER be surprised. Learn about builds and skill synergy. I'm not an elitist or a min-maxer, but HoT forced me to improve my game-play and I'm very happy I did. I'm better at other games now too.

This is a casual game. There are MANY others with gear grind. Different flavors for every taste. Their audience is not the high adrenaline crowd, it's for people who enjoy exploring and socializing. There are plenty of inactive nooks and crannies on the existing maps where they could put challenging bosses or groups. They used to have those in the game in low-level areas but they were removed. I think it was because so many people were farming the crap out of them and ignoring other modes of game play that make it more of a social/group game. We DO have tough stuff in the HoT and PoF zones. I like farming those SOLO when I'm up for a challenge. I think level 90 zones would take too much developer time from what the majority of players in gw2 want.

I just got back in also. Squad was fubar. Otherwise, things seem normal again.

BUT, there should be a decent buffer zone around the entry town for people to easily do a bit of sight-seeing without getting ganked.

I've been seeing these on many maps. They're just a little blip of a name under the node and gone in a flash. Let's face it, no one parks a toon at a non permanent node.

@LindseyCrafting food in gw2 always makes me hungry and interested in trying something new at home. I've been looking on the 'net for a real-world Spicy Pumpkin Cookies. I think I'd love those.Our Ascended chefs cant make hot cocoa or grilled cheese. Great comfort foods.

It used Glyph of Tailor instead of it's own.

If you go into F11-settings, set the compass always off. Minimap disappears. Comes back instantly when you turn the compass back on. I just tried it again. Set compass always off minimap is gone and then reversing it will make it return. These settings are relatively new. Not sure when they appeared since many details don't show up in the patch notes. Same with my other account.

Don't forget with Wintersday festival you can farm 100,000 Karma per day for 22 days. It's my favorite time to stock up again.

Each expansion is the NEWest end-game content for PvE. It is difficult on purpose to remain challenging. It's either that or resort to killing 10,000 rats ... Bring a group if you need support. Otherwise, as solo, you have to be able to kill fast and dance around the clusters while killing.

Buy EARLY and sit on gems.
