Ok then let's nerf the other 9 meta supports that do it in full zerker/viper's too... The ship sailed on this design, 2/11 supports require more than 0% boon duration now for 100% uptime, and those 2 are never played.

The design vision is to have a class with 3 pure dps elites in a game where every class is supposed to be able to do all roles?(from the devs mouth)

I quit PvP due to terrible matchmaking 3 years ago. As you get higher rated, you get worse matches. That's the opposite of what is supposed to happen.

Mirage buffs. Class is either invis, invul, or 1 shotting you. They are impossible to ever kill.

Scorched earth has no target cap? Arc divider does 23k Axe auto chains do 8k Decapitate does 9k Are warrior abilities using PvE scaling? reference: (mute it, it's awful)

Cele gear is fine now that warriors arc divider for 16k against cele + protection. Honestly cele should be the only stat combo in the game, pures are boring and not what GW2 was supposed to be.

Most games are 5v5, not 50vs50 50 players playing perfect classes in a perfect comp is far too high of a requirement to play a casual pvp mode.

You log in and 50vs50 by yourself? Amazing.

"ITS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" does not mean something has to be lower quality. Example: path of exile, warframe..

That's actually not what's happening at all. 99% of the games player base cannot experience the fun of ZvZ because it is gate kept by 50 person squad and 10 firebrand requirements to even attempt it. That's not good for the long term health of the game mode.

As my OP said, balancing the game around something <1% of the game modes player base gets to experience is an extremely bad decision.

Couldn't take the squad anywhere, every BL had a 20+ queue that wouldn't move. You were stuck where you were for the rest of the night. The entire queue, population size, and balance system in WvW just leads to teams stomping over others with no real competition and the teams being stomped not being able to actually play the game.

A year and a half ago I saw they were buffing catalyst in pvp/wvw and went "wow this class is going to ruin pvp now" Then it did for a year and a half..and still is..insane.

Yeah. Last night at reset we had a 37 person queue for EBG yet owned zero(0) of the map and red would follow us around the map anywhere we went. They had a 50 man firebrand comp and we had 30 in squad with 3 firebrands so we could never fight them and they wouldn't let us take anything.

You need 50 people You need 10 firebrands Congratulations, you can now participate in ZvZ inside of WvW! Most people do not have the ability to have 50 people on. I've been doing WvW weeks now and have not been in a single squad of 50 people the entire time, and I'm in a WvW guild and I join PUG commanders on the map. This requirement in order to be able to fight the other team(s) who have such a comp is far too high. They gate keep any fun big PvP combat out of the mode just because they have 50 people and 10% of their squad is firebrands. Please fix your game balance so that WvW ZvZ fighting is more accessible to the other 99.99% of people who actually play your game and mode. It's not a smart decision to design your mode and combat around something < 1% of the player base can accomplish. There are many ways you can do this, here's some examples: DR on CC's(100% duration - > 50% duration - > 25% duration - > immune to all CC for 30+ seconds) Every support having AOE stun breaks and AOE stab equal to firebrand WvW squad cap reduced to 20

It's a really fun condi weapon now, I can't really complain. Make staff our power weapon..or pistol!

Remove AR, fractal god bonuses and fractal pots from the game to help new players get into fractals.

Quickness herald dps is crazy and basically an LI spec that gives tons of boons very easily so I don't understand this threads complaints.

Easy solution: Limit WvW squads to 20 player caps.
