  1. Looking at gw2mists the 3 highest EU KDR are ex-FOW-wave-1+ex-FOW-wave-3 (WSR), ex-FOW-wave-2(FR), and whatever remained in FOW EU is truly full of life
  2. *spinal shivers from a wall when they are low health after invuln*
  3. WvW roam: Sword/WH and Axe/Focus OR GS if you are particularly able with GS5 pull and not wasting GS4/GS3 with such a slow weapon. WvW zerg: Staff (AoEs are too good even with low damage, they scare people and strip aegis) and whatever, I still go Axe/Focus but you can use GS for GS5 pull from walls and GS4 strips
  4. My standard scouting is [Stonemist Castle] PANIC Always works like a charm
  5. It would work if the only possible fishing spot is the invisibility pool in SMC, and it dropped a legendary fish that sells for 10g each. Then you would really see people fighting over the objective.
  6. Serves y'all right for having friends. I have no friends so whatever team I end up in, it's fine. 10/10 beta!
  7. It has been discovered that if you type a message with a special character while gliding, stonemist castle gets flipped automatically.
  8. When you are in the heat of a battle and your squad veils to either push or bait and switch direction, you need to pay attention because if that one mark you left 30 seconds ago gets triggered you lose stealth and you will give away the squad position. In that moment you should realize you are visible and walk another direction, but your boon/condi bar will have 10000 icons and it's not a good thing to start looking for that 128x128px icon while the enemy squad pushes your cheeks in. This is just an example that applies to advanced players. For myself who usually just stealths from SMC fountain to gank some rando after 4 hours of AFK it's just that I don't like my character not diasppearing.
  9. It's nice that we have a WvW-only infusion, but as every other WvW related stuff it's broken: when you stealth, on your screen you get that quasi-invisible effect on your character, but the infusion overrides this and you basically look the same, so you are forced to check your tiny invisible weapons or your tiny stealth boon icon to know when you are visible again. The SOTO purple infusion doesn't have this issue, so I don't think this should be a hard thing to fix. Dunno about other full-body infusions since I'm too poor to afford one. Or alternatively you could double-break it and have it show your character also on enemy screen, so I could locate enemy thieves and mesmers 🙂
  10. What did your very best friends of the last 8 years say about you paying thousands of gold or even real money just to play with them? Did they ever help you with the transfer costs? Did they ever consider moving all together to another server? You said moving an entire guild for just one person isn't feasible, but I'm sure you alone over the years have paid more gold than the total price of a single transfer of 20 people to literally any other server. Is that full server so important that your guild can't ever switch? I'm sorry for your loss but there are so many things you and your friends can do to mitigate this situation, that blaming the relink frequency seems not the problem here.
  11. You forgot to mention that in WvW you literally kill people
  12. Another problem with this infusion is that it doesnt't get the stealth transparency, so you are forced to pay attention to your invisible weapons or your boon icons to know when you are stealthing and where you are not. The newer SOTO purple infusion doesn't have this problem, so I wonder how they can manage these issues apparently at random.
  13. Come to T1 we have cotton candy and free kittens here 🙂
  14. Apart from everything that has been already said, I agree with the fact that life sacrifice and life steal should we swapped (the first heal is wasted unless you have blood bank), and in general I feel that they added the weapons without thinking about the traits at all. There are traits that synergizes with axe/focus, with dagger, with scepter, with staff marks, in a homogeneous way. The swords are just there, they feel unrelated to the class. You will choose your power/condi traits regardless of the sword skills. From a WvW perspective the overall damage is very low, the condis you apply are very few and underwhelming (if it's a power weapon I can understand, but the power damage is so low that it feels as generic as the staff), there's only 1 boon corrupt in 5 skills iirc, and there's absolutely zero (0, nada) good boons. Maybe stab is too much, but some fury and more might? Plus there's the wonkiness of certain skills with terrain, especially Sw5 where your green ball disappears almost immediately and can be reflected anyway. Why should I constantly calculate the distance, terrain and timing of my attack on order to (maybe) land a single fear that could be blocked and reflected, when I can just use staff5 or warhorn4, one click one fear, easy, unblockable? Loving the leaps though, if your objective is to build a core celestial blood magic+death magic+speed of shadows absolute kitten necro, then swords are a great choice.
  15. I could see celestial bunker core using it just for the leaps, since the shroud leap is a joke and apart from that it's just a sitting duck. Boonrip is good for every build, or if they just focus on being as annoying as possible thay can just use the lifesteal sword skills with blood bank and be even more bunkery.
  16. I just hope they don't end up nerfing a good reaper weapon because of the usual celestial harb overtuned builds
  17. Yesterday in EB we (FoW) had a 30ish man squad defending SM against 2 different stacked blue guilds, while a red squad was acting as decoy attacking the keep and the towers. Seems like the population was lively for all the 3 teams. Then if you refer to non-prime time, we probably have more coverage but not that much, we are just more aggressive. We suffer against servers with high coverage especially in the weekend mornings (looking at you WSR). During workdays no one plays in any server so who cares.
  18. I never use minions on my builds but it seems a bit odd that if the problem is minions=lag then the solution is to nerf the skill without compensation, as if the problem was minions=OP. I don't think anyone thought RISE's problem was having to kill one extra almost-zero HP minion, when most other classes have entire seconds of invulnerability to any attack/condi/cc no matter how many people in the zerg are hitting them,
  19. GS was power torch was condi pistol was condi sword must be power Possibly with more corrupts, crit rate, gap closers, teleports, invuln, stab and heavy CC Thanks
  20. T1 right now is terrible. You have WSR and FoW fighting each other only in EB disregarding other maps, so Gandara can PPT all borders and win the matchup despite having a KDR of 0.5. WSR has high kills and low deaths because of their saturday/sunday morning PPK trains where the usual 2 guilds gear up as if it was a GVG world championship and spend the day farming pugs. Then during the week they switch to FoW-style cloud clowning. FoW has high kills and high deaths because they throw pug bodies at the WSR blob during the early weekend, and then in the peak hours during the evening and during the weekdays they wake up and eat up all the maps while the other servers stop playing.
  21. This. Autorun contains the word "run", but if you are not running anywhere it's so easy to detect and flag you as inactive. Just check the player's coordinates, regardless of what they are doing (using skills, autorunning, chetting, etc) and if they don't change in 10 minutes trigger the warning(s) and then kick the player out. "but even if I have been immobile for 10 minutes I was using skills to defend a wall/treb a castle/ERP in map chat with my degenerate friends!" The warning themselves are visually invasive, so if the player truly isn't AFK he has a whole minute to just press any direction once (not against a wall) to reset the timer. "but that's just the way I enjoy playing WvW, if I want to stay in the same spot for hours I don't want to be discriminated!" Again, just press "w" once avery 10/15 minutes. Not a terrible inconvenience. Anyway staying in the same exact position for that long is suspicious, whatever mental gymnastics you use to justify your sedentary playstile. "but what if I really have to go AFK for a bit to cook/phone/work/whatever and I don't want to requeue again?" Not our problem. There are people waiting for hours for a 50Q in EBG while everyone inside the map doesn't actually play for various (apparently crucial) IRL issues. More people being rightfully kicked from the map = much faster queues, so you can go back to repairing SMC walls as soon as you come back from your IRL stuff. I don't think this will be the definitive solution, people will shift to using macros to move their characters around a spot, but it would be harder to set-up and macros can be detected by the client (they are allowed as autoclickers to open bags but thre could be a system in place to detect other keys, i.e. movement and skills).
  22. Counter-argument: I tried cele harb once and went against a random dude but he killed me. This is factual proof that cele harb needs to be heavily buffed in order to compete in the current meta.
