  1. Some puzzles specifically require gliding. Honestly not sure what your issue of optional gliding is exactly? Are you accidently gliding when jumping? That would be more a keyboard issue than a game issue. I'm not sure if you can but perhaps try rebinding glide in control settings, unbinding it entirely for the puzzle maybe.
  2. Gliding/mounts in home instance, The amount of times i've accidently jumped to my death from the garden to the ore nodes in asuran lab is too damned high. So what if there's an out of bounds issue, you've had those really stupid insta kick walls in story mode since beginning, just put them in and let us mount or glide.
  3. The only spec so far that's still giving me any hype this expac if i'm being honest. (I don't even really play thief but i would play it a lot more if this spec is what i hope it is)
  4. This needs to be fixed, it's so damned annoying. I cannot dye my glider at all, i can't get this 4 channel fix to work either half the time.
  5. I've always felt due to its name that blighters boon should work on applying conditions too. Dodging has always felt a little silly as a reaper while in shroud but obviously necessary, op suggestion would be cool for a reaper shroud dodge imo.
  6. The snap to target option being broken down into two separate options of: snap to target (Enemy) snap to target (Friendly) Would be really nice imo. That or an option to manually select snap to targets per skill (similar to how you can set an ability to auto cast with ctrl right click) so like for example say hold alt + right click on slot 7 toggles snap to target on slot 7 ability but slot 8 + 9 are still manual target unless also toggled. Another for me is the cursor, would be really sweet to have a feature where your cursor glowed and was made more obvious to its position but only active in combat. I've seen people use yolomouse and stuff which is of course super useful but i don't want to permanently use that type of cursor, only when it's actually needed, which is in combat. Would also provide a nice additional visual aid to tell you when you're in combat rather than the other more subtle combat indicators currently in play.
  7. The concept of tying elite specs to weapons was nifty to start with but we are getting closer to having no further options that aren't completely ludicrous for the profession getting the weapon. Like in total warrior could receive 1 or 2 more weapons before we get into the realms of warrior roleplaying a caster (unless they copied daredevils melee monk style staff then it would be 2 or 3). Unless we ever got a main hand shield option. (edit: i forgot mace exists when i considered scepter as a probable melee weapon) Would be nice to see some new weapons introduced that shook it up a bit and gave a lot more options, like just off the top of my head a short list of: Fist weapons could work as both a melee weapon and a caster type (it would still have to be melee on ele ofc, rules are rules) The age old requested land spears, could have made a proper dragoon type spec the new rev spec dodge mimics. Even ranged throwing spears could be a thing. Throwing weapons in general have some options with variety Greataxe would be nice but it might be a hard job making it so different from greatsword and hammer. Tomes like the ipos legendary but held in hand. Flails Main hand shield! Crossbows Those cool chakrams and feyblades from KoA They could be implemented for base profs too which would cause some fantastic hype for a new expansion content feature, rather than a "what weapon will they shoehorn into my prof this time" type thing that is starting to show on some profs imo. I know i would find this far more exciting than the currently known features of EoD. The lack of variety left i think is a big factor in why i'm not as excited for the new especs as previous expansions, some feel forced. Then for the future i look at my main and think well next time it's most likely going to be another offhand which would have to be shield since it's the probably the only thematically logical weapon left, unless they give us a sword but then it's still the same problem of boring offhands for necro and what do you do with a necro sword that isn't already covered by reaper (which while shield would be nice i honestly don't find single one hands exciting, i wish all one hand especs were a weapon combo like spellbreaker enabled)
  8. Honestly biggest question for me is why a single pistol rather than dual pistols? Such a missed opportunity to fill the gaps the spec has with a new offhand weapon, power builds look doa for harbinger, dual pistol could have possibly helped fill that niche, theres a lack of active offensive based elixir usage that could have went into firing poison elixirs/bullets/darts whatever via offhand pistol. Not to mention, a dual pistol build has often been just a complete meme thing for thief that's never been really taken too serious to be considered actually viable, it's seeing more usage these days with deadeye spec for open world builds but dual pistols are criminally underused in this game, a proper dual pistol focused espec would have been truly a new thing. Instead it's just the same old boring warhorn or focus with what really feels like a half hearted attempt at a new necro spec.
  9. I sometimes wish for a feature that allowed you to have a different 3rd traitline bound to your secondary weapon slot. It would be a balancing issue sure but it just feels right.

  11. The amount of people in this thread being obnoxiously obtuse when they know fine well why people will dislike this story is pretty pathetic. The fight for newer players is absolutely dreadful, the fights are extremely vague to learn the mechanics on your own and could have been substantially better explained, then for the main boss : the fragile effect being constantly planted on aoe patches, the random knockback effects that can knock you onto the patches, the instant phase changes where the purple field can instantly spawn on top of you and immediately kill you, the fact that you don't really actually fight the boss other than repeat these mechanics over and over again. If you're acting like you cant understand why some people would be frustrated by that then you're only making yourself look stupid rather than succeeding to belittle those who are being frustrated by it. Not to mention the frequent cinematic bug which causes you to have to redo the entire story again because you got disconnected, forcing you to sit through a rather long and boring slog of the same story rp and busy work you've already done just to get back to the same point you were at before and hope it doesn't bug out this time, before reaching the aforementioned annoying boss. People on this forum can be so pathetic sometimes, put yourselves in the shoes of a new player trying this stuff out with little to no knowledge. This story, and season 2 in general is pretty bad for newer players it's actually made someone i brought to the game almost outright quit from frustration thinking the rest of the game is as frustrating and tedious to navigate around.
  12. I've been finding these disconnects tend to happen after an instance bugs, which is frustratingly common. Like if i have to watch an in game cinematic and the cinematic instantly cancels then i'm stuck permanently in a 'watching cinematic' state with the video tape above me and unable to move, after about a minute boom i will disconnect. Hidden arcana is so frustrating because of this. Or if i skip the cinematic when gliding in that heart of thorns mission and no one spawns at the bottom ledge, after about a minute boom disconnected. Npc bugs and dialog option doesnt trigger, after about a minute boom disconnect. Always seems to be right after some bug that prevents progress, like it's an intentional anti bug thing which is weird, why not just fix the bugs instead. It's insane how many times i have to repeat some story missions because of random bugs preventing progress. It's so frustrating and actually rather sad that so many basic issues are still not fixed close to half a decade later (not just this).

This is the most annoying part of it, if mounting up reset the cooldown as it dismissed then i wouldn't bother as much about it, sure it would be annoying recasting it every time i dismount rather than it just following me while mounted but at least it's a fix, it's even the most logical fix when you consider flying.
  14. I have this issue again and it's extremely frustrating, why can't the support tab just be part of the main window you see when you log in? It's the ONLY part that has this issue, i can switch to any other part of the site without logging out no issues but soon as i try to hit support BAM "logged out", funnily enough i can just click the forum tab while being "logged out" on the support tab and wouldn't you know i am still logged in. Is this some sort of attempt to dissuade people from making tickets?
  15. Please just open up the option to use pistol offhand with this, i cannot stomach another minute of warhorn/focus any longer. It doesn't have to be a meta pick, just give us the option to dual wield pistols for this pistol based elite spec, single 1h weapons on an elite spec are always disappointing to me for this reason, it feels lazy and just kills potential build diversity for no good reason. Scourge got away with it due to how radically different it was to other necro specs via the shroud skills. This one feels like a bland unrealised potential cheap option, it will always feel thematically incomplete to me in it's current state without an OPTIONAL offhand compliment.
