It's supposed to cast Search and Rescue when you begin reviving someone. I'm leveling a ranger now, currently 80 and starting HoT content. On my travels I have revived countless people and have never seen my pet help once. Am I misunderstanding what this trait is supposed to do?

I want a ranged spec that is outside the box. For example, longbow spec where if you have the longbow equipped your skill 1 in every kit changes to a bow-fired 1500 range skill. Flamethower is fire arrows. Bomb kit is AoE explosive arrows. Med kit is ally-targeted heal arrows. Etc.

You got me there. Specter is the only elite spec of this entire bunch I have a positive outlook about.

I dare you to name one new elite spec that seems better than any of that class's current elite specs.

People always jump to “Anet hates X class” instead of “Anet is bad at their job”. There isn’t some grand conspiracy against certain classes. It’s just that Anet isn’t great at everything.

I like the fact that Specter is different and can only support one person. I also think it makes sense that a typically pure DPS class could only reliably support one person. I am more excited for Specter because the one-target thing makes it more unique and fun in my eyes.

I personally like having all 4 elements but I would like an elite spec like this to switch it up sometimes.

I came back to guild wars recently and started leveling an ele because it was the class I had never tried before. At first I was in love with having 20(!) weapon skills at any moment. I thought to myself, wow, with all these skills I’ll be able to do anything. What I have been noticing is that I don’t feel like I actually have more power or utility - I just have more skills. I feel like they took a normal class with their 10 weapon skills, and just spread them out over 20 skills and increased cooldowns so I’m forced to use them all. So on one class if I press one button on a 3 sec cooldown, on ele I’m pressing two buttons each with a 6 second cooldown. So it’s just doing the same work with double the buttons instead of having double the power or utility.

Hey all. Gonna level a Ranger, love the idea of the Druid spec. In what forms of content will I be able to play as a healing druid? And in what areas will I not be welcome? Thanks.

I am not trolling. It is really a mental block for me in any MMO. I have this thing in my head where I have to play the hardest class or the least played class to be 'respected' or something. Like in WoW I love healing so I literally check out who the worst healing spec is and play that instead of playing the healer that I like the most. I have this problem with feeling guilty playing easy or popular specs.

Honestly I feel such guilt playing a class that is so complained about for being OP. I really like the theme and both elite specs though. But I don’t want to be looked at like I’m playing the game with training wheels.

Man signet of renewal is one of the reasons I love ele. I absolutely love rezing a group of people during world bosses and meta events. I would be so sad if it was changed.

Maybe they could add a trait that keeps your circle the same for 4 seconds after switching attunements, but that countdown is reset every time you switch. So for example if you cast your circle in fire, then switched to water for 3 seconds, then switched to air - now you have 4 more seconds of fire circle. You'd have to stay in one element for more than 4 seconds for it to switch to your current element.

I would loved if we could put down all 4 circles, one for each element. And if you press F5 while standing in a circle, something would happen. And whatever happens would be impacted by how many circles you are standing in at once.
