  1. First off, great thread necro. Secondly, many players were engaged in the Mad King's Festival which may have accounted for low map population in DS. Now that it's over, it might pick back up. You could always join a guild and ask for help.
  2. My luck would be that I would get a precursor drop for a legendary I wouldn't want anyway.
  3. No exaggeration here. 8+ years. Not one precursor or other unique drop. 😞
  4. Nope. I'm very casual and don't really care all that much for how much gold I have (currently around 1k), so tossing a GP for a port isn't such a big deal to me. I'll make that up after a few world boss events.
  5. Report and move on. Or, do a forum search on this very topic for the many, many threads that already exist which have the same answer.
  6. Source? I don't recall this. It may be true. I just don't recall it.
  7. Where is the evidence to support this premise? I have not heard of GW2 having a "serious problem". Nor do I find the system to be "utterly broken".
  8. It would become yet another thing demanded of players for high end game content. Asking another player sounds like a great way to build community. I enjoy when people compliment my look or ask about skins. One can already look through the wardrobe to view all skins, locked and unlocked. I'd rather Anet spend resources elsewhere since this information is already available to players.
  9. I'm not sure there is a big enough business reason for implementing something like this. What percentage of the player-base would have the option to use it? I think that I'd prefer resources spent elsewhere.
  10. Yeah. That is a completely different suggestion. I wouldn't care if this were implemented or not since I have no legendary items, will probably never have any and this option wouldn't affect me one way or the other.
  11. Hey, maybe play Dark Souls if it has all of this cool stuff that you enjoy.
  12. No, but telling someone that they ought not dictate how other play and then suggest they create their own group (which would probably have his/her preferences for how to play) is how I found it to be ironic.
  13. That's not entirely true. I am a very casual player and definitely no whale, yet I managed to obtain the "I'm Rich, You Know" title. It was something I wanted to work for and, over time, I managed to achieve it.
  14. That's kind of an ironic statement, no?
  15. Spaghetti code that causes instances to fail is not the same as simple download speeds.
  16. Where has Anet said that they didn't want people playing dungeons? By being abandoned, it only means that the content does not receive any attention from the developers.
  17. Well, the ports are essentially "free" so tipping isn't mandatory. I will usually tip 1gp unless the mesmer porting is asking for tips (which I find crass) in which case it would be far less.
