  1. I don't recall them doing this is the past either. Can you cite an example? As for different sorts of transformations ... um, yeah, I'm sure that would be very simple to code and/or go back and re-code all of the current transformations? 🙄
  2. Sure, a new player will need every LS chapter unlocked right at the start. 🙄
  3. That would certainly drop the price, but that's Anet's decision. /shrug
  4. I thought that legendary things were supposed to take great effort to obtain?
  5. There is nothing disrespectful in advising a forum poster to use the forums search feature to find the answers to the questions that they are asking. Setting up a search isn't that hard: I just selected "this forum", "all of my search terms" "titles only" and input "class change" and got this result https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/search/?q=class change&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=11&search_and_or=and&search_in=titles
  6. Those tonics are transformations. Mounting is also a transformation. They can't merge the two from what I understand.
  7. This mentality makes no sense to me. For a B2P game with no subscription, your friends decided that paying for LW content is beyond the pale for them? How much do they pay for other games that they play?
  8. That doesn't really address the point. Section 2.2.2 does, though. We users have pretty much zero rights.
  9. Please use the forums search feature. There are many threads requesting profession changes and reasons why Anet will not do them. Good luck.
  10. Except there is no right of privacy with Anet. They can come in to your apartment, or even kick you out of it, at their leisure.
  11. This proves nothing. For all we know, in the time Anet "lost" those two accounts, they gained dozens. See, it works both ways when no one has actual facts.
  12. With all of these keys and key pieces that I've accumulated and have never used.
  13. Many may not know, but (IN MY OPINION) players who are so interested and/or invested in min/max character builds will look to the internet and invariably find mention of ARC. Anet has been green-lit ARC, so there's no worry of any ban. I'm not against it, per se; rather, I believe that it would take resources away from things that the devs could be working on for the benefit of a much larger segment of the player population than this proposal. As for it being something minor, we don't know if that's truly the case or not. With the purported spaghetti code that we've heard about so often, this proposal may take a lot more effort which, again, I would prefer be spent elsewhere.
  14. I believe if players are interested in such a meter, they will know how to find one.
  15. Complaining about a paywall in a B2P game. Really? As a veteran MMO player, you should relish the fact that GW2 has no subscription model. The studio needs to bring in revenue somehow and you can't find a way to drop a relatively small amount of cash to purchase the story? Especially as you don't have to purchase it all at once and you can purchase it by exchanging gold that you earn in-game for gems. Egad.
  16. I was merely disputing the point that the definition provided was the only definition of casual.
  17. I run with the world boss train, sometimes hit larger ones like Karka Queen, help new players in low zones, pal around with guild mates with crazy builds in LS maps that usually kill us. Farm some for gold. Stuff like that. Some days I spend more time in game than others, thus the several hours a day per week on average point. 😉
  18. I hate JP and am not very good at them. Don't even want to bother trying to get better. It's content I can do well enough without. Having said that, for my skyscale, I was able to do a few of them, get a few of them during dailys with the help of mesmers so that I only needed 7 skyscale treats to complete this phase.
  19. No, it's not. I'm a very casual player but to say that I am not invested in the game? By what standard? To say that I don't spend an inordinate amount of time in GW2? What's inordinate? How does anyone know whether or not I spend most of my gaming time in GW2 over other games? I spend several hours a day on average each week in GW2. I play OWPvE. I don't PvP. I don't WvW. I don't do fractals/strikes/dungeons/raids. I enjoy the story, but have only one toon who made it past Claw Island. I don't enjoy HoT (but do appreciate the zones for the effort put into them!), have traveled PoF only enough to map complete it on a few toons and haven't even finished EoD. I dabble in SW:ToR from time to time as well. I am concerned for the direction of both games and am quite invested in how they continue to progress. I know that several of my guild mates are about the same, too. That definition of casual doesn't work.
  20. This is more of an issue with pets in general and not with Soulbeast.
