What will EoD be remembered for?
kharmin.7683 replied to Yunnadel.8296's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
I'll remember EoD mainly as the players getting what they asked for (Cantha, fishing, certain e-specs like BunnyThumper) and many not liking it.- 252 replies

If the "trolls" are bragging about it in map chat, then report them. -

(sigh) Yet another bot complaint thread. Please just use the forums search and read all of the other threads before making one that rehashes the same, tired argument.

19 Mastery points to auto-looting?
kharmin.7683 replied to Buzzbugs.1236's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Be grateful that the opportunity exists. In SW:ToR, you have to manually pick up drops. There is no mastery or skill to auto-loot.- 23 replies

The Gates of Arah Defense Event
kharmin.7683 replied to Wesley.4657's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
How is playing an event as intended considered trolling? As has been said in this thread, the fault lies with Anet, not other players. -
Why can't we when in combat?
kharmin.7683 replied to Buzzbugs.1236's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Why not make adjustments to aggro ranges, like has been requested on these forums for years since the PoF launch? -
You claim that mounts are a QoL necessity. There are many who may believe that legendary gear is a QoL necessity. So, legendary items should also be given to new players for free. You also make a lot of assumptions when it comes to player retention.

I'd rather them fix the ranger profession first.

Or, more likely, whatever housing Anet implements will not be what people really wanted. Like fishing.

Why is there no player trading?
kharmin.7683 replied to Buzzbugs.1236's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Trading post fees are one of GW2's gold sinks. It's healthy for the in-game economy. This is a delusional expectation. Good luck with that.- 55 replies

Confirmation bias much? Where is your statistical evidence that a "large portion" of player don't feel that they belong to GW2 because of the lack of housing and marriage? Where is your proof that these missing in-game functions will cause the loss of players. You might consider using the forums search feature to read all of the previous threads on each of these things. You may find that they are not as popular, or needed, as you believe. Personally, I feel that either of these ideas is a waste of valuable developer resources and time and would rather attention be place elsewhere on things in GW2 that are more likely to benefit a much larger portion of the player base and -- most importantly -- bring in profit for the studio and its shareholders.

Fortunately, there is nothing in the Black Lion chests that players need to complete content. So, if they're not fun, then don't do them.

I don't focus on weekly earning of gold. I set a specific threshold that I want to attain and usually stay above that until gems are at a price that I feel is reasonable.
