  1. Do dead devs drop precursors? (good to hear they were all on, sounds like fun...and great that they are getting involved).
  2. True. but every skill can be abused if over powered. But atm, it's not even usable in such situations...it's just finding a balance so that it's at least an option. I mean, Kalla is not even used in roaming builds really (maybe more in spvp?, but still even there. they are not optimal) I think in most modes, a hero survivability change could be for the better. Other aoe types don't have to deal with their skills being negated due to passive damage(or maybe there is I don't know of?)....they just place them and they do their thing. I love the theme of the heroes n all, but they need a change to make them worthwhile large scale.
  3. A good point. I made sure to have heartpeircer too, which then can hit 5 more in the zerg. Every bit does help, like you said. I've not really paid to much attention to my stability stacks when in a zerg, anyone know what they usually sit at? (can effectively have 25) I mean the 1 removed by this skill and at a 1 sec interval on top of that, plus managing quickness uptime and skill cooldowns for the strikes. It's hard to even think you'd be doing anything...not to mention the spam of application going on to replace those strips (I guess also add in anti range too, for my case). I'm focusing more on the larger scale tho. I wonder if they increased the amount of stab that was stripped (or dare I say, the stack? lol) would make it more viable or OP.
  4. You're right, sounds like such a great trait to build around. Especially for the boon ball zergs that just blob around a keep killing whatever then roll near. A great skill to try and break them up somewhat when it's just pug clouding. But, I see it seems fairly pointless for the reasons you all have given above. Especially with the stab application being so far over what you could ever strip. Too bad really. Ahh nice, thanks for testing it out 🙂
  5. I wonder if (like I had seen a poster mention on the forums another time) having a break bar like a mech pet would make a big difference or not to the survivability. I mean, the hero's still have to be placed right in the thick of it, but wish they'd look at some changes around this problem.
  6. Do peeps use it? I've tried it a few times, usually as a pug trying to help fend off zergs in a keep...but I think the summoned hero's just die almost immediately with just the passive dps the erg provides.
  7. Hey all, Is this trait bugged? I play in WvW if that makes a dif, but it feels like I get 0 strips of stability with this. Are shortbow skills not considered strike? I tried with hammer too and no strips showed, so I dunno...maybe they don't register on arcdps? Brutality - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) Gain quickness when you swap weapons.   8. With a raid, support build you will have a hard time if you are roaming about by yourself. But, a tag will love having you around. The build is probably a little bit different in WvW though.
  9. I'm surprised on the amount of Revs. I don't come across them too much (roaming). Maybe it's more peeps on herald in Zergs answering.

  11. Was put on the right team as my guild, that's a good start this time.
  12. So I hate coming against these. If they are not very good I can beat them, but feels more often than not...the build carries the player. So, now that you've explained how to use it, how do you defeat it? I usually try to keep range on it and interrupt as much as possible to put off the building of condition stacks. Are there certain classes, tactics, or skills you struggle with?
  13. Maybe a dismounting trap could be something fun. Have someone go ahead to a bridge and lay out the caltrops 😄
  14. I get constant fights roaming. These bastards trying to take my HBL camps just won't stop. I need a break gawdammit!
  15. Curious if others have found it lackluster since patch? I've played it a few times, and felt very off, to the point it is not worth it. I mean..we have one job. I have had some really lucky placements and good rotations, but the zerg is able to just boon ball it all. The dps seems a lot lower, more than I had expected. Fiery Great Sword is also something I used quite a bit. Anyhow, it's just anecdotal (although can see my dps), and I was wondering if other staff weavers out there are feeling the same thing in squads.
  16. I'd go with guardian and do willbender for roaming imo. For zergs, firebrands for healing are always valued. Just stick to tag and do ya thing. TBH I think going with a tag is easier than roaming to start off with, with a little dabbling into roaming. Don't get to dis heartened with being 'deleted'. The fighting is very different to spvp and what classses work. I often go with a strong spec in wvw and get owned in sPvP. We have all taken our own fair share of deletions, lol. I promise you though, stick with it and it will get better. In WvW the environment is your friend!
  17. Don't be afraid of higher tier servers. There is a mix of tags, and more than enough to accommodate what you are after imo... a large zerg with no comms necessary, or specific specs.
  18. Well Fiery Great-sword IS part of a melee push for me. I'm usually in the thick of it, if not ahead. With a 900 600!! range aint like you're using Fire storm for a ranged spike. Seems like nothing can be 10 targets anymore though, so probably inevitable, just commenting on the reasoning. It's High Risk vs High reward. I have to duck in and out of blobs and try and survive as a clothy with 13- 15k hp. EDIT - My bad, the firestorm is 600 range!!

  23. Definitely possible. Though, it was a tempest for me. Was one only the other day and I'd wonder if we had more than 10 on it..maybe even some ac's. He was just moving around the gate of a defended keep by himself. My ren can burst pretty well, but his health would not budge, and was a heap of capable wvw's also belting on him. Although, looking into these kinds of builds they seem to be especially good against missiles I'm seeing. Also doing decent aoe dmg as he went along. I mean we could get him close, but he'd just move away after a while. (had spawn invincible to run to)
