  1. Jade Bot Components should not be white. The first thing I did when i entered cantha was beat the Aetherblade Boss, "on his ship, docked below the palace" and got the White Colored Minaturized Skiff Engine, which seemed like normal trash, so I sold it without a second thought. Now, after many more defeats I cant get it again and I'm thinking it's a one time only...

  3. Opened 2500 Wintersday gifts after day two, with over 550 MF. I got,,, must be something in here...., Nope. Guess I'm looking backward at the event now.
  4. You realize that having advanced into just the first Expansion, the origonal poster probably has no idea what 150 AA even is, or most of the other acronyms used here. It's pretty clear that those who paid for SotO want to aclaim it's wonders and those that haven't paid, are seeing less to offer. How do you convince anyone, to buy POF and EOD and SotO because you think the Wizards Vault has changed for the better? How long would it take a player, likely some as solo, going through all that content, without the rewards he'd expected, just for these new rewards, he still wouldn't get until he reached SotO? Many of us players will move on because of the Wizards Vault.
  5. I continue to get tasks from the Wizards Vault that are in content I have purchased, but never entered or played or done any story or anything else. The only thing I did was make the mistake of buying it with the intent of supporting the game, opening that content and playing it when I chose to. Did that with Hot and it worked fine. Did that with POF and it worked fine. I like to support the games I enjoy, or used to. Wont happen again! Please correct this mistake. The old Daily and Weekly system worked perfectly. Support says they cant fix this as it's currently undegoing changes. Only Development can.
  6. No, it did not for me. Once I actually entered a POF map, My Dailys and Weeklys changed, but not before. The same as it was with Hot. The Story has not been started.
  7. Why am I getting tasks from the Wizards Vault for content I have not opened? I have not entered any EOD maps or done any of that content yet. I bought EOD to support the game, and play when I am ready, NOT TO PLAY IT Now! I was considering purchasing Secrets of the Obscure, but thats looking very unlikely now. Please FIX the Wizards Vault so it offers tasks in the content we have opened, INSTEAD of what we have purchased! Like the Daily and Weekly events used to work, so very well! ( I dont understand why 'Support" was not the correct forum to post this in, as it is a significant and very undesirable change in game play.)
  8. They have tried to fix Warrior for 10 years. The only reason in all this time, that it still sucks so bad, is because they want it to.

As I sit here with 27 unspendable Tokens of the Festival, I would like to see a small set of rewards created for all of the Festivals which become available when all the items that can be bought with a specific reward currency has been purchased and theres nothing left to buy. It could be unrelated to any specific Festival, but available in each. While I personally would prefer something that still requires significant game play, there could be a set of rewards, each of significantly increasing value that become available after there is nothing else to buy with a specific Festival currency. There could even be a few rewards that require a combination of festival currencys. Make it tough and make it worth going for. For example, while it already has a purpose, I think something like a gift of battle would be a potential candidate for a combined Festival Currency reward.
  10. I feel we were screwed over. I have 23 characters on 2 different accounts and each character was created and outfitted as I chose so I can use the right character for whatever part of the game I'm playing. I have absolutely no need for, and see no need to ever buy any build templates, but it didn't make the game worse for mebecause it's an optional purchase. The last thing I find helpful is the Legendary Armory. It does one thing for me. It blocks off a slot of my visible hero equipment inventory for each legendary I make. I find this change right up there with the gift of battle fiasco. Where is the opt out button? We have them for lots of things that were added and didn't work out. I've enjoyed this game since day 1 and certainly bought my share of gems to help perpetuate the game, but seriously, this might help a few players who basically live on the game, but for most it's just more lost inventory slots, at a time when loot is a box inside a bag inside a pouch and every slot is precious if your doing multiple events. This needs to be optional! Make it a free gem shop item. That way we dont all lose.

  12. The OP clearly has no interest in WvW. Still, I agree that the game should motivate players to try each game mode. What makes no sense to me is the continued requirement. Once you have tried a game mode, to the point where you have received a reward like the GOB or other track rewards and been fair and honest about giving the mode a fair try, and then decide you do not want to enter that mode again, How can there be any valid reason to continue to force players into that mode? So, it's do the REQUIRED content, even though you have already given it a fair try and know you will not enjoy it, over and over for each legendary you want to make. How can players reenter the mode without feeling a distinct predjudice towards it. It's clear from the posts here that players feel that way about different game modes. Rather than pit players againsty each other in the forums, it makes a world of sense to me to establish a set amount of completed content in a game mode and then reward the player with other ways to acheive the reward they seek, in the other game modes. Constant disagreement and accusations in the forums does little to motive new players to join us and these required modes for rewards, may be doing more damage to the game than good. I am glad each game mode exists for those of us who enjoy them, but find it unrealistic to believe we all will love each and every mode.
  13. To the OP. You've fallen into the clutches of those whose only joy seems to be killing others. Do yourself a massive favor and save gold and buy the Legendary. When you have WvW people saying it's the least toxic part of the game, you've lost any realistic feedback. They will be right there ready to kill you, and please resurrect so they can kill you again. Having earned the Gift of Battle legitimately numerous times, it's as boring as possible. Either there is some absurd belief that the Gift of Battle will make people like WvW, or that WvW players will like PvE if forced into it. I've never met any but we are stuck with it. Play what you enjoy and use the gold for what you want.
  14. Why? You can wear a swimsuit anytime you want right now for free. Just go to Southsun Cove and jump off the east side of Pearl Islet and you are automatically in a swimsuit. No Cost, No work, no disagreement required. Nice water and beach, avoid the wildlife!
  15. Not sure what the point of a "sale" is when the cost of gems quickly increase by about 30%, unless it's to pay more for the same thing. Sure, you can plan ahead and buy gems ahead, like some of us did, but how many do? How many know it's coming? How many even look here, ever? Just sayin a "sale" aint always a deal for everyone so it pays to do the math. An in game upcoming sale system message might be helpful to players.
  16. Fair is not the right question. It's totally unfair and should be. How many exotics are you putting in the forge each day? 20? 40? It doesn't happen that way. Precursors should never be a goal. They are a rare occurance. Even getting a precursor is so far away from actually crafting a legendary that many just sell the precursor. There are plenty of sinks and roadblocks in the crafting, after obtaining the Pecursor. If a Precursor is that important, earn the gold and buy one. Then see if you want to make it a Legendary.Having said that, some of us are just lucky. Two years in I hit the Predator and it gave me the Precursor fever. Four years later, I finally realized I was never going to get just one of each kind and decided to sell those exotics and just buy the Precursor.If the Precursor is that important, as it was to me, just buy it. You will learn the process and not waste a ton of time and money and effort feeding the Fickle Forge.
  17. The first year of the game was amazing. Constant new content, rapid fixes in many areas, A world of new maps and enemies and challenges, lots of players trying to help new and struggling players, forum input generated actual change. The pace just became too much to sustain for the Dev's and they had to make things harder for all those that ended up playing that content once and then leaving.
  18. I might have missed it but I do not see comment on the effect of mounts here. Once you have a level 80 character with mount(s), leveling with other characters becomes much easier, because of the mounts. I don't think they had a choice in using level restrictions in the Personal Story when mounts were added. If you start a new toon and just plop it on a roller beetle and stay on the main roads, nothing hits you and experience increases rapidly as you fly past poi's and waypoints and an occasional vista. I don't even consider needing to level up a character, it goes so quickly. Just stay in maps close to your current level.With this in mind it shouldn't be hard to see why the Story has level restrictions and needs them.
  19. I think they are sound moves that would make condi-bunker more competitive. It always seemed strange to me to increase attack speed, building up momentum and then when it's time to charge, you cant move. If they can have different effects for skills in different game modes, why not change flurry immobl, except for WvW?
  20. People, through time, have tried to make themselves ugly, scary, and frightening just to intimidate before the fight.Asura are smart so they are better prepared for the fight.
  21. Having a second account really makes it clear. I doubt if you'd really truely see the impact without a second non mounted account. Where I see it the most is in dailys and very popular areas. When an event pops, my main account is right there getting in on the action, and never missing credit or loot. When I play my paid core tyria only level 80 account, every daily event is done before I can get there, unless it pops real close by. No action, no loot, no daily credit, over and over. At the very least we should see a ban on mounts in level 15 maps. Two or three mount tailswipes and those npc's are dead. At least that's what I see before I get close enough to attack them on my mountless account, but I don't notice it on my mounted toons, cause I'm already gone.On a side note, I can smash through the first ten levels for key farming with a new toon on a mounted account by simply using a Beetle and taking the main roads through the low level maps getting exp for waypoints, poi's and an occasional vista, in very little time. That time is uncomparable to a mountless toon on a paid account trying to reach level 10.
  22. After the third time I tried to attack something, and found I was attacking with a kite, I deleted all novelties. If I hit the tiny box inside the slightly larger box, even one time during a battle, novelties have no value. Period.
