  1. My earliest memory is leveling my characters in there, when everything was chaotic and I didn't feel bad for being worthless.Also waiting for my team to rotate to the side I still needed for full map exploration... because my server was awful enough that I could never finish it.
  2. Legit never had a group in there have trouble ccing him. Even with rifles. It's such a baby gamemode you can teach a 4 year old the basics. And of course you want to build a couple ballistas. For every 3 or 4 catapults i build, i build one ballista. Helps clearing that one trash mob that survives or runs fast like the Ventari.
  3. Literally just don't try to run it at max settings.That's all that is required. It's perfectly playable, it works.
  4. For once we are at the front, but not the person the entire world revolves around. I think that's pretty neat.
  5. I'm an achievement hunter and I have yet to finish the meta for any of the IBS releases.Not because they are bad or because I don't like them, but because they don't really interest me. Drizzlewood is fun to me still after all this time, but I sure as hell am not going to grind out every single thing that I am missing still.

  7. That's not an expansion. That's an overhaul. That's being pedantic, not a fact. Why wouldn't there be room for new stuff when reworking old stuff?
  8. Yeah, cos reskins of weapons and reused maps are interesting... This mindset confuses me. What keeps you here? The "amazing gameplay"? Play an actual single player game if that is what you are looking for.
  9. I was sceptical, but this trailer looks really good with a lot of stuff and interesting story beats. Now I'm pretty excited!
  10. Wrong. You definitely get one free transfer with your expansion purchase. I know this, because I got two and I have created my first character shortly after the game was released. I paid the full 40 euros for the game back then.
  11. Warhorn is already meta in WvW, but I don't think it would be too out of line if Warrior got a trait that converted toughness into healing power, not only give them some through Might.

  13. Because there isn't one, and wont be anything new till the expansion. PvP and WvW are in maintenance mode, they dont care about us and want this game to be single-player open world PvE content with the occasional world boss. Note that the word "Soloable" is in the road-map quite a bit. And somehow it's been like this for 5 years and people still play it. Oh wait, because there are a bunch of changes over the years. Of course open/living world content is going to be soloable, if you try to take that as an indicator the game is dying or that they are catering to certain people, no. Just more of the same.

Sadly I haven't recovered my oldest screenshots on my old PC, but I remember it pretty fondly: Festival of the Four Winds, I used /sit on the Quaggan stage at the top and it made my Sylvari Thief clip through the stage halfway, making him semi-float/stand in the air while his legs poked out below.
  15. I mean, they were not really a part of the game as is. They are a relic of a concept they never really followed through with and only later on people found use for them. Breakbars should mean some thought put into being able to break them with your builds, not having the right cheese in your hand.
  16. Don't think so, but when it releases I will probably play a lot more Rev and Guardian.
  17. They literally said they were going to change the scaling/breakbars for that content these items were used in, how can you cry about it???
  18. Following this "season" with its different arcs, it's just to differentiate that this is the final arc with its own sub chapters, that play off what happened before, but are still entirely separate.
  19. It's unique and counts as its own objective which awards more points per tick than a keep would.

Sometimes the thought of an area is much more exciting than the area itself.Stuff like the Wizard's Tower for example.We know they are there, we roughly know what they are used for in most of the cases, but what exactly nobody knows. Wouldn't make sense for the current story to go anywhere near that though.
