  1. Honestly I'd rather see them add a whole different achievement tree just for this equivalent titlte. It should include many grindy achievements, potentially tied to either individual core maps or regions, including the original dungeons.
  2. Break enchantment remove 2 by default + 1 from loss aversion sorry this was supposed to be Enchantment Collapse. if they have other enemies near them that has boons to be strip. Break Enchantment is also NOT a control skill so the +1 from the major trait line on spellbreaker wont activate. Sure u can fully strip ryland with dagger main hand (3 + F1) and a Bullscharge to rotate with an A/A subset. but considering how many ppl dont do that anymore i opt to not add that in the explanation and just say its a Bit Tad Many for spellbreaker (which at this point is false :P ) And yes, you can solo with spellbreaker (since I am solo-ing with it for like a week and a half now on all DRM CM). But the question here was "As a Group" So i responded as a group hence I answered as a group comp. Break Enchantments + 1 cc skill is enough. I've done this countless times solo, unless he gets more boons with more people in which case forget I ever said anything. I have done this with Greatsword + Axe Axe, only using BE + Bulls. Just wanted to say one person can definitely cover it, but obviously more is always helpful. Didn't mean to come off as antagonistic or something.
  3. Boon stripping is perfect for a spellbreaker. Break Enchantments removes 3 boons, all it takes is one cc skill to cover the rest thanks to traits and they can do it solo.
  4. I have to disagree here. Visually, it was not groundbreaking, but it didn't look bad at all. It looked like a desert, it had a bunch of variety and even had different dunes and rock formations, the swamp area was also very distinct. The oasis area is also very beautiful and the deep water was very fun too.The ambience in the villages is very strong actually. It feels very believable, the characters that live there and have to deal with all of this, it felt strong. The meta was underwhelming and unfinished, it drags the map down as a whole.
  5. They're really not that bad.People are just mad that the all stuff around such a typical instance isn't there. They have a lot of replayability, I've had a blast over the last week min maxing their gameplay, soloing everything and dodging big damage in the last moments. The concept is solid, the first instances were a bit lame that is true, but the newer ones are all very good.
  6. I really think they are a great concept. This newer set of DRMs is much better than the previous ones, I think they should keep the idea of them and keep making them after the saga is over too. Imagine we got one or two DRMs inbetween waiting for a full episode. Would be cool, they can also work with what is already there, so they won't have to make new maps just for them
  7. Honestly just do them while doing the meta imoYou get so much more for doing the events and getting a bunch of commendations.
  8. I really like it. I would have loved if it was an infusion that only changes skin, not everything, but I think it's good.
  9. Meta is just taking Deldrimor dwarves whenever you can and spam their special action because it not only CCs but also deals a ton of damage on top of your own.
  10. Luckily, things aren't as black and white as this.
  11. It's better than expected in many parts, a bit weaker than I had liked in others. I really enjoy the DRMs, but I also took my sweet time with them.
  12. Nobody is asking for this to be turned brainless, but something is seriously off. Whether it is the NPCs being too slow or the timer being a little too short. The fight is harder than the rest, I don't see why the time should be this close when the rest clearly works.
  13. I was very sad when I tried to solo it with 3 challenges active and got Ryland to 25% when it ran out. Could definitely do with another minute or two. It's weird anyway. Isn't the timer 13 minutes? Why 13? It feels like it should be 15.
  14. This is a game limitation. The ones you would acquire now are different items and they can't retroactively change that. Usually that's why you would get a vendor who "trades" the account bount ones to tradable ones. They probably didn't think it necessary/it was too many items.
  15. It was much better than expected, too little to write home about, but better than nothing. I would NOT enjoy this release if it was one large gauntlet of story instances.
  16. We do?Were did this info get released? The fact that the instance in Lake Doric isn't just the same map, but the water is back and frozen over. It's changed, so definitely more work done than just sectioning the map alone.Well, that map was here since the previous subchapter already. The first part of the Champions episode had already 10 DRM instances included - it's just 7 of them were locked. So, if anything, they put way less effort into maps this time around, since they did not make any new one.I suggest you read the topic at hand again, because that was not the point. They put more effort into those frozen instances, because the water and ice did not exist before. How can you argue against that? Makes no sense.
  17. That looks like a massive over reaction to me.You have a lot of time to do this, chill out. /shiver

  19. Definitely, I think maps till Jormag Rising were very engaging with various events, activities, meta events like Drakkar or once Claw of Jormag's meta was fixed, it feels like a nice and rewarding experience. As for Champions I think changing the way parts of core maps look is definitely a cool idea, and making them instanced won't make a mess in the future with all those ambushes when new players start playing - something that probably looks weird when a new player sees entangled places by mordremoth or mordrems, while doing story with Zhaitan. Still I hope a new location will be added in Judgment - 4th chapter. The quality of music also definitely adds so much to locations like Alpine Marches, Eagle Flight, and battle music in Drizzlewood Coasts and more I think the frozen Lake Doric will exist only inside the DRM accessed trough the asuran portal in EoTN. The real Lake Doric map will stay untouched.I think it's great. This could also set a precedent where they make more instances that do this. I can't recall any other time they have done this and it could help open up more stuff in the future, because instead of making a full map and having it fully functional they can isolate parts of it and change those.
  20. I think it's good enough, at least we know there is some more effort put into the maps this time around.
  21. If you water down the meaning of a word or term long enough, you truly can create your own reality where they absolutely didn't adjust a couple hundred things over the course of last year :)
  22. Help yourself, just look at the patch notes. It's not because the balance patchs aren't especially gamechanging that they aren't balance patchs.December 1st 2020 mainly focused on removing skills that affect more than 10 target for WvW's sake and came along some damage balance on things like guardian or Engineer. You can't expect much more than that from a balance patch.October 13th addressed mainly the growing concerns about Engineer and it's grenade cheese in sPvP. Yes, it was light for a balance patch, but still effective.July 7th was a pretty heavy patch. Over a hundred point of balance targeted at either sPvP or WvW listed along some mechanical change. So, Yes I say it again. You're not allowed to do this. People are still mad and getting owned, so clearly somebody didn't do their job!
  23. Finishing my second set of legendary armor. Starting the third.
