  1. No changes here. Sometimes it feels janky after a year, especially after playing more fluid games, but that's about it
  2. That’s where the Bastion of the Penitent raid is, it’s not an open world area or a foreshadowing. They never put the new areas on the map early
  3. Double the cost to 2000 and have done it at least once like you say and I’d prob not object edit Oh for the love of… Stop merging everything so conversations are no longer replying to the topic. At this point it makes it harder to follow. There’s my qol suggestion 😉
  4. To those who took me seriously, I have returned your unexpected, albeit generous mail donation of gold 😂 I will of course be funding it through unofficial Black Lion sponorship 😉
  5. Amazing in the context of transcending a mere yes. Maybe a super yes
  6. I’m interested. Imagine griffons with spears and cannons dogfighting
  7. I can’t vote because the option for “I look amazing” isn’t there
  8. They wouldn't need a of that scale (new bosses could learn from Tequatl though), but just a restoration so they played as they were designed. Claw has mechanics - golems, ice pillars, ice walls, flamethrowers. Mordy is an actual Elder Dragon a 5 minute fight is a poor showing for one of the few actual proper ED fights. Adjustments to be as designed can only be healthy for the game
  9. I am enjoying these QoL updates. I do hope that there will also be a push to realign some of the content so it’s not so trivialised or skippable - I’m particularly thinking world bosses For example, Tequatl has aged well. Claw of Jormag has not - all its mechanics are no longer in operation Mouth of Mordremoth is a significant boss, but again it is trivialised. The latter just needs scaling, but Jormag needs its mechanics to be made relevant and not skippable again. I understand power creep, but the above improvements feel like they’d fit with the ethos described in the blog post about maintaining a vibrant, relevant world
  10. Details to be confirmed and tickets to be announced. It would be wrong and unethical for me to give anyone a detailed headstart at this stage. However.. I am currently booked for a catering meeting later, so I think expecting strong ale and a high likelihood of a drunken brawl is fair. A well known Ascalon based rock band has also expressed early interest, but for legal reasons I am unable to cofirm anything until contracts are exchanged and paw prints inked
  11. Don't pour cold water on the annual Randulf cosplay convention so quickly...
  12. I'm not saying anything of the sort. I'd have written it if I did. I'm just saying people not being confident in asking isn't an indication of the community not being friendly. I made no other point - I leave the pros and cons of a toggle to the rest of you as I don't care either way. I would suggest both sides calm a little though. Some very heated reactions and wordage seem unnecessary on both sides for such a tiny (albeit heavily requested) feature and they risk the snap of the moderator's Infinity Gauntlet
  13. Just to answer this. This is incorrect as it doesn't address natural player shyness or language barriers. (for the record I have no objection to the idea of a toggle being be added. I have no issue with it either way)
  14. I like that idea, although I've just read a "meta" theory which suggests if we go by the new world map compass, it'll be NE, SE or SW. NE being Ascalon of course Of course I wanted an underground or deep sea one, but I think I'll be waiting until GW4 for those at this point
  15. A swamp could indicate the estuary at Janthir Bay on the map
  16. We need World 3 first (ie more than just the initial test zone)
  17. Ascalon is one thought for sure, but as another thread pointed out the image is very close to the original Verdant Cascades art assests.
  18. If Verdant Cascades (looks like the closest bet), perhaps we are following the footsteps of the missing Kodan wizard
  19. Perhaps us humans will finally take back our lands FOR GWEN AND THE KING!
  20. Reminds me more of Brisban, but it could easily be further east of Ascalon Not the deep ocean or underground sadly which was my little hope
  21. I’d agree, but when I say it’s been a problem before, I believe it was post soto launch, so within last 6-7 months . At least that’s my info from using the forum search function…
  22. It could be a very specific combination of factors or a bug that crashes the game under certain conditions . However, this hero point has had problems before so it is prob a deep lying issue affecting wider things
