Why would they start from scratch when GW2 still has a lot of potential? Resurrect dungeons, rework guild missions, add new/better stuff to earn, release Cantha, and so on... Doing all these things would cost a lot less than starting a brand new MMO.

At least I can repair anytime and anywhere with my perma canister which makes armor damage pointless but it's still better than death penalty in some other games (especially older ones, I really hated when exp loss was a thing in MMOs). GW1's death penalty was too annoying and discouraging for my liking.

Everyone is different. When they release new raids and fractals I actually don't get new "real content" because I don't care about these things. And yet I don't cry because I know many other people enjoy them. Just like you don't care about housing but many of us would enjoy it. It would be optional just like everything in the game. Don't like it? -> Ignore it.

Honestly, I'd be okay with living world forever if episodes were more frequent (2-2,5-ish months). HOWEVER, MMO players are obviously obsessed with expansions (see all the hype ESO and FFXIV got). Expansions are a huge selling point and GW2 definitely should release one for the sake of the game's future.

I'm social enough to join open world PvE meta event squads and chat with the squad if there's a funny convo. I also happily answer questions on map chat.But I'm not social enough to be on voice chat 24/7. I listen to people during guild missions but that's about it. As an introvert, talking makes me exhausted so I prefer text chat.

Player housing (if not in s5, then in next expansion).More armor skins (simple ones without buttcapes and cringy parts).More customization options (new hairstyles/faces, option to disable idle animations, etc).

I have 1 custom build/gear set per character so I definitely won't use it but I know MANY people will.

I’m fine with the idle animations we have now (I mostly see the sylvari ones) As a female Sylvari player, that's actually my biggest problem. I don't want my serious, cold, edgy Sylvari Reaper to smile and swing her arms. Sure, it's nice on my friendly Firebrand but it doesn't match my Reaper's personality. It annoys me more than it should. And I absolutely can't stand the "brain swipe" on Human/Norn females, their hands clip through the skull. Just give me an option to turn off idle animations on MY characters, that's all I want. I would pay real money for it!

I would sell my soul for a "simple posture" without idle animations!!! :( Something like in ESO, default posture has no idles but we can enable "Personalities" for different animations and emotes.

HoT metas are more fun.

Yes. It's a huge problem that a big part of the story is not available anymore, it's disappointing for many new players who are interested in the story (I have a friend who quit because of this).

Tbh, I just don't understand this "impulse buy" thing. What if I want to impulse buy but I CAN'T? Because that's what happens 98% of the time. There were Gem Store stuff I wanted to buy but they weren't available so I came up with an other look that didn't need the items. => I ignored the items later when they became available because I didn't need them anymore. => No money from me. :confounded: Maybe Anet's sales method works on SOME people but not on me, lol.

I say no to any VR game because it gives me motion sickness.

I'm a PvE player who does the PvP dailies (in unranked) because they are usually faster to complete. The reason why I don't PvP "seriously" is because I only enjoy it in small doses and I have better things to do. Also, I always try my best but I'm quite bad at playing meta builds so I play my own builds because I'm actually better with them. However, this makes some people overly angry... I don't need that kind of negativity in my life. :neutral:

Hm... Nothing that is considered "valuable" to other players. However, I've been playing since beta and I still manage to have fun in the game on a daily basis. Not sure if that's an "accomplishment" but I'm quite proud of it anyway, lol. :tongue:

Not only Tengu, I don't want any new race. We already have plenty of clipping issues, especially on Charr and Asura. Imagine adding a mutant bird to the list... Everyone would cry about armor clipping, it would be bad like Charr.

I'm a semi-clicker. I press 1-5, F1-F4, weapon swap and heal (Q). But I click utility and elite skills (6-9) because it's hard to reach them and the bottom left part of my keyboard is mount hotkeys and dodge (which I also press). I hate using shift+key, I find it uncomfortable.

No unless it's an underwater one. And once we finally get that, please stop with the mounts.

Jackal (fastest mount on uneven terrain, can completely avoid fall damage, quick endurance regen) Springer (extremely useful to climb on stuff) Skimmer (useful to avoid water and more, no fall damage) Beetle (useful to explore a map on land extremely quickly) Griffon (has decent jumps and can cross gaps, good to explore some maps quickly) Raptor (clunkier to control than Jackal, bad at uneven terrain, gets fall damage) Skyscale (clunky, awkward to use) Warclaw (gets outclassed by everything else in PvE)

War Eternal. Easy-to-explore map, fun meta, epic story, awesome new Heavy armor set for my Firebrand main. I don't enjoy Bug in the System, it has too many puzzles for my liking and I absolutely suck at them, I have no idea what I'm doing 99% of the time, lol.

Also, thank you so much for NOT locking PoIs behind group events and annoying puzzles! <3 10/10 would explore again.
