I agree with Grimm. Tried playing for a short time. My play hours since gliding disable has decreased by 90%. More annoyed with anets (lack of) communication and slack when it comes to the WvW community and fixing issues. It would be nice to hear when they will be able to address the gliding. For Example: "We are still out for the holidays until January 8th. This will be the earliest we will be able to address the gliding bug."

I'm sad that this years Extra Life event wasn't handled as well as previous years. I feel like there was very little awareness brought to our daily gaming experience. This is usually done through community goals, gem store items, and bonuses. I was excited to donate (through the gem store) and collect this years package, but alas there was none. I even missed the stream due to incorrect information. It's unfortunate that mismanagement like this will most likely effect donation totals. I was waiting to throw my money at you and Extra Life, Anet. Poor showing.

I despise strikes and avoid them unless I really desire the item. The 400 AA (on top of mastery possessed emote) was the added bonus that got me into this. I was told that I’d have to do the strike again and “thanks for understanding”. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for the devs to just award us what was stated we would get. Before any confused or laughing faces come about- this isn’t a case of “if you don’t like the content don’t do it.” I don’t like the content. I tried. I completed. I don’t want to do it again. It really shouldn't be on the players to solve this. Plz come up with a better solution for us rather then a round about way of saying “you’re kitten out of luck, thanks for understanding”

I don't do them either for very specific reasons. I've done three in my gw2 gaming experience. I would hope anet would find a way to give credit to those who have completed it.

I’m having the same issue. Most of the time I don’t even connect and get in combat. These are also in guaranteed pull spots given no aegis, blocks, stab.

Posting same reply here that I put in bug forums: T1 here. Main account hod/sos with an alt on Dh. I ran all the way as DH to SoS spawn and sniffed, checked whole map (and recorded) not 1 sos/hod player. I’ll also note, I’ve only seen 6 DH players across the whole map as well. Even though DH can get into ebg as mentioned above- it’s not fun for either side it seems. Only green is active in ebg. Come on anet. T1 is ruined for all three servers right now. Plz fix

As usual, the communication is dreadful from anet. I truly done understand how they can operate with such kitten business standards. If you don’t know what’s going on, communicate it!!!!! I personally feel like an update every 2-3 days would be enough keep us in the loop about our accounts. As many stated, we’ve all dropped a decent bit of $ into this game for character slots. Now my main only has 33 toons but I do have many alt accounts with more toons than the given slots…. It’s frustrating that the part of the community helping to support them financially is getting shafted with little communication- again. Im a wvw main….. I’m used to the bs when it comes to communication. So have a big fat #communicationwhen

I am also having the same issue since patch today. I recorded the gameplay. My load screens are about 2 mins (randomly) and when I do load the world is broken. It almost appears that I load in under the maps into water. The landscape doesn’t load, nor does the tp, hero panel, skill bars and so on. My character is stuck in the ground until I mount. When mounted I can see my character name back at stuck position but my mount continues to roam around, I’ve even been able to farm nodes yards away from my character location. Unfortunate that this is happening but glad to hear I’m not the only one dealing with this issue. Ty for posting.

I really hope anet is paying attention to these complaints. I’ve now finished the EoD story on 3 professions for the ascended weapons. Starting the 4th. I LOVE collections - but the idea of doing this story 6 more full times drives me bonkers. The reward is not worth the time investment. I just wanna complete some fun collections for wardrobe unlocks. Plz allow us to play only the final instance fight vs the whole story line anet! Also, feeling the pain on virtuoso that requires the whole story and a completion of the dragons end meta. some of the collections contain metas that on average are hella more successful than DE… I imaging I’ll be able to quote the story here on my 4th time through. When I have to take another tour through the underwater facility I’ll make sure to adult, grab food or scoop the cat litter…. Anything is more exciting then yet another forever long tour.

In order to finish the collection for each elite spec there is an item requiring you to finish the End of Dragons story line. This requires you to finish the WHOLE story line. After the finial battle I received my credit for it. I didn’t have to do the bonus and credits scene. Currently there is no way to cheese and get credit for this item. I attempted to pull my friend into the final baffle instance through “replay for achievements option”. We did the final battle only (without finishing the whole story line on his character) 2 times attempting to get credit. So far only way to get credit towards this part of the achievement is actually finishing the EOD storyline from start to the final battle. This is really some crapola imo if you want to do all 9 collections for the weapons . I’ve currently completed the story fully on necro and thief. Halfway through my 3rd profrssion (Mesmer). Someone here mentioned “reading the same book 9 times”- dang right. I don’t think it should be a requirement to play the whole story 9 times if you enjoy unlocking the weapons and collections. Boring!!!! I def feel anet could have been more creative. At least allow us to join someone else’s instance, anet, and get credit for completion of the last long battle!

Currently on my second time through the story for second ascended weapon. I can’t imagine having to do this 9 times total. Friend and I attempted to pull into final mission through “replay for achievements” to “finish the Storlyine” and it didn’t work. Sadly. Please, anet, don’t make those who love collections play this story 9 times.

Oh I never asked that they share their bags. I said that I do. I wish that anet had a better solution. I know better than to ask people to share their loot. if they want to they will.

I play dps only but I’d appreciate a way for our support to get more loot and xp from kills. We have a serious lack of support in some of the groups I run with, and a few have stated it’s because of loot/xp. I always throw bags to my party fb + cleanser each group I join fights or not. Anet should find a way to encourage support play for those who actually do care about loot and xp. As always, ty to all those who do come on support for group play, and big props to those who switch from dps to support when asked 💖.
