  1. I think they need a rework more then just nerfs.Make it less spammy.Separate between high boon output or high healing output. But not both at the same time.Something like that. The idea of @Ovark.2514 could go in the right direction.
  2. If he want to play Heal firebrand then you could play alacrity renegade. This is meta for fractal runs and you can carry all pugs :-)
  3. For beginner that's always risky because you probably dont know and understand all of the game mechanics. And intuitions are not always correct ^_^"So even when you dont want to play metabattle builds, you can learn some best practices there. But until you dont play competitive modes or high tier fractals and raids, enjoy the game and try out a lot of thing :-)
  4. Maybe we should randomly shut down specific builds from time to time to force people to try new things. ;) Or you could 'fix' things that way, that they feel less boring. In my opinion banners are still not fixed, because of boring design ^_^" Merry Christmas btw. The Banner Rework is better now than in the past, it's no longer boring to me. Did you like the previous banner skills design? Happy Holidays! No, it's true that the new design is much better than the old. But i would prefer a more active and situational game play.Something like: Use the active skills of the old banner (Fury on Discipline or Regen+Heal on Tactics) when you summon a banneror Use this skill actively on the position of the banner after summoningor something like this.

  6. So Elementalist and Engineer, the two classes that are totally designed around the 'no second weapon set needed' paradigm, get a second weapon set?But the Warrior, the class that doesn't work without fast weapon swaps, is still forced to take a whole trait line to be playable? This is fine.
  7. This. There are several traits, utilities, elites, and healing skills to take to aid in adrenaline gain. While I wish they had kept the adrenaline gain on at least shouts or warhorn when traited, there are other options. Seems sad though that Tactics now is the only trait line that does not offer a means to gain adrenaline, either through the traits, the utility skills and weapon skills linked to it, or in the case of e-specs the utility skills granted by the trait line. I think that's the idea: going away from this passive game play (we all cried about). However it's not consequently done, but it's a start (I hope) :-) Edit: thinking about that a second time... Probably makes no sense
  8. The only broken thing on full counter is the animation bug :-/ If they reduce the duration of it it would be harder to use and players have to time it better. That would be fine. But a much bigger problem of Spellbreaker is how easy it is to achieve high damage numbers in a defensive build.
  9. I say that is a good thing Also, it looks like Shrug it Off will cause warhorns to heal when they remove conditions. The healing amount may be small, but if not, then warrior just got serious support buffs. I wonder how good this trait will work with Brawlers Recovery, Cleansing Ire or other Skills, Traits, Runes, Sigils, Combos that remove Conditions o.O Description says "heal allies", but could be interesting if it also works for the user.
  10. I don't like all your changes, but definitely support that :-) Old arms was really nice to play and always a look at in core power builds. When Anet want to boost core builds (it looks like that sometimes) they should think about that.
  11. Non of those share 30 stacks of might for 10 ppl. If 30 stacks of might becomes a warrior class mechanic it would kill everything that you just linked. And i mentioned druid only coz its almost dead already. So what class would be a better class-profession to have 30 might? Thief? Engineer? Necromancer? Or would this mechanic be better as a self temporary buff only? Have you read the comments here? Do it again if you don't understand why it is a bad idea in general.
  12. I think magebane is not the biggest problem at Spellbreaker. Maybe reduce the Dmg multiplier because of the multiplier stacking, but the might is fine as it is. The bigger problem (that nobody speaks about) is Attackers Insight. Its dmg boost is enormous (esp. with all the dmg modifiers) and in the current setup its easy to have a high uptime. The first nerf of Spellbreaker should be that. (Replace the stacks with Might could be an option.) why nerf attackers insight and such when builds without magebane are fine with them. What build you mean?

  14. What I would really like to play as Minor traits:1) revive faster, give people around you might after rezz2) might gives you a bit of healing power. Every time you give somebody might, you also heal3) phalanx strength: give people around you might when you give yourself might (not sure if this should trigger when somebody else gives you might) This makes warrior (again) a major source of might for groups. (Keep the duration as it is and only 5 targets.)It would give Heal warriors a constant source of healing. (What these heal builds actually miss the most.)Place for one new grandmaster trait. (No idea about that.) Oh, back to topic: I like the changes. :-) a bit out of place, but as somebody who wants to play a support warrior, since shoutbow is dead, it's nice :-) gives me options for some new meme builds.
  15. Warrior because I also play warrior and in this 1v1 situations I can really see how good or bad I am.
  16. Not a big deal, but since last balance patch it is fun to play and does some damage:http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vJAQRAsf5enMdAdegtkCmkCElilrA7N0eabtK5gWXNAJAkASdA-jpRHQBA4IAIgTAAzOIAJpMQG2fAgPAAA Yes I know, it is an old build. But at least it is different from what i played for the last eight (?) Seasons: Spellbreaker.(Tbh i played a lot of One-trick-pony and Core warrior last season)And it is fun and still good enough to reach Platin 2 with it.
  17. Oh plz not. You're right that they are never used and need a change, but I think this should go more in direction of functionality. For example: activation of a banner triggers a regular useful skill (maybe the old active skills on the 2).That way, they could make Banner of Defense a stun break or Banner of Tactics gives some additional heal what would made both a more interesting choice.
  18. On the one side I like your ideas and the synergies you used. But on the other side I think it's still better to use GS trait and Berserkers Power and Scholar Rune. You still get might and have the better Multipliers.
  19. Not sure if people remember the time before the PoF pre patch (8th august 2017).They made made imo some bad changes to arms in this patch, i.e. the removing of the damage boost from Bloodlust or the removal of old Rending strikes as minor trait. Both made old Arms a better choice for Power builds while keeping it as a option for Condi builds. When I look at the 1-trick-pony Memezerker it feels really weird. This build is a bit broken with Arms because of the Major traits with not a single benefit from Minor traits. On the other side, Arms is totally useless for all other builds in PvP... Not sure what change is more needed: Arms or Tactics. But both feel really bad.And Discipline for sure needs some adjustments. (And nerfs to Spellbreaker)
  20. You're missing the point. It's possible the toning down of HoT specs is because they're gearing up for a new set of elite specs that will outshine even PoF specs. That could happen too. But I think then it is not necessary to change anything on HoT specs, because most (all?) oft them were still behind PoF specs.Just nerf PoF specs would be a better preparation for new specs. In any case, I personally hope you are right and we get new ones :-)
  21. I think they will first overhaul the HoT specs and when that is finished, they will do the same for the PoF specs. In general this is a good idea and method, but as long it is in ArenaNet time the game will feel bad for the next years :-(
  22. This skill would fill a niche if it also removes all stability from the target too.I.e. to prepare a burst in PvP.(Remember it is still highly telegraphed!)
  23. I agree with you in most point, but just two ideas: Make a book pages global for all three tomes and let them recharge over time or actions or healing (Druid) or what ever.A reduction of their cooldown then could be also a good idea. I think the bigger problem is the stacking of Peak Performance (10%), Magebane Tether (10%), Strength Rune (5%), Warriors Sprint (3%) with 25 Might with Strength boost (+10 power per stack) of it.Reducing these multipliers would be much better. (Without them also Bulls Charge and Rampage are not as broken as many people think.)Edit: I totally forgot Attackers insight (5 x 45 Power and Ferocity)...
  24. Nice, then you have a total useless Sw/Axe Tactics Warrior, have fun getting farmed in PvP.
