  1. Just here to confirm this new bug, where the bosses spawn with extremely short timers.
  2. Similar things happening to me, only since last patch. After meta events with many people and/or zerg fights, certain textures, icons, etc. just don't load at all for me (transparent/invisible) or they turn black. Also, on Dragon Storm I just got a green screen instead of the cinematic that's playing after the first phases... CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13600K (20 CPUs), ~3.5GHz GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX RAM: 32GB OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit I'll add some images once it happens again. EDIT: Screens (took me a while since taking a screen while it happens might cause a crash): Chest texture missing Another chest texture missing Missing mount textures and whole mounts Missing icons (please ignore inventory mess) Dragonstorm Cutscene (my favourite - very spoiler-free) EDIT2: In the meantime I cleared my GW2 cache multiple times and also performed a client repair - neither of which helped 😞
  3. Ah, that explains why I see no difference between before and after the mastery, since usually when I cling to a wall I'm in the process of ascending somewhere (i.e. pressing spacebar)... This feels like a bug, so even if it isn't, it should be changed in my opinion.
  4. It's not exactly the keybinds resetting - it more behaves like action camera being enabled (with no way to switch it off). For me, hopping on my Skyscale, using fireball a few times, and dismounting again fixes it.
  5. I have found a little "workaround" for those stuck collecting meat. Normal wurms do not drop it. But champions and the map boss Jungle Wurm seem to drop it just fine. Haven't tried Vet Rank mobs yet Veteran Wurms do not work either. But that at least should help you get this done somehow. EDIT: sorry, did not realize this was about the first wurm meat during "A New Friend" - mine is a sub step of "A New Look" (the skin collection).
  6. Same here. When killing wurms, the exotic chest animation plays (as if the meat had dropped) but I do not get any meat in my inventory (and neither does the achievement progress). Screen of the Exotic Chest animation EDIT: same thing happening on lvl 80 Wurms btw.
  7. Thank you so much for this "workaround" - my Howler Collection blinged and my mind is at ease now 😄
  8. I logged through my characters and actively equipped all the Gen1 Legendaries to get the Collection Achievements - all but one Collection worked. The Howler Collection did not trigger, no matter what I did (tried to equip the Legi on multiple Equipment Templates, both on the main and second weapon set).
  9. Item: Mistwalker Infusion Issue: Glowy Parts of Electromagnetic Armor (Asura T3 Heavy) become invisible/see through when equipping Mistwalker Infusion. Screenshot of the issue
  10. Same here - Shadows to High instead of Ultra indeed seems to be a temporary fix to be able to get into the game.
  11. This has been happening for a while now (if it happens to you in Straits of Devastation, you might even end up beneath the map when logging back in...). This mostly happens when you log out (or even just go to the character selection screen) and back in again on the same character within a short time frame. But it doesn't always happen - not sure what exactly triggers it... It seems you can prevent it by logging in with another character inbetween (for whatever reason). Then the first character you logged off with should retain their position.
  12. Experiencing the same thing right now - also Traheren boss.
  13. According to the patch notes this is fixed now. I can confirm that I got the achievement on login on my twink where the achievement was stuck previously.
  14. Same, got several freezes during North Drizzlewood - never had this happen before.
  15. As someone who has seen this game before meters, I'd rather not have this time back. I still remember those "4 War, 1 Mes" "no Eles" LFGs (just to give some examples). Instead of being called out for low dps based on your actual performance measured via a meter, you were just gatekept entirely, since your performance could not be measured at all. I personally use my meter to measure my own performance, and if I notice we lack something in the group I'm currently in, I adjust my build accordingly to try and make up for it. This often leads to the group completing the content rather than wiping and disbanding. I cannot see anything wrong with that. Ofc, there are people who use a meter for toxic behavior as well... However, this toxicity does not come from the meter itself, but from the person using it... The meters are not the problem - toxic behavior is. And you get that with and without a meter, sadly. Actually, the most toxicity I experienced in this game actually came from people not running a meter (and therefore not knowing what went wrong during a wipe, and randomly assigning blame to anyone around them - while often being the problem themselves). I think a DPS (+healing, mechanics, etc.) meter developed by ANet should be part of the game, since without it there is close to zero transparency regarding group performance in encounters. Even a "summary" after each encounter/try with some performance indicators like DPS, mechanics completed/failed, healing/boon output etc. per player would help a lot. The fact we need 3rd party software for making these things visible is what rubs me the wrong way. But that's a different story...
  16. Same issue here. The interesting thing about this: on my main/first character, who had the core story finished years ago (and generally is up-to-date with the story), the achievement dinged automatically just fine. Same on a twink, who is also well past the core story (has also completed HoT and some LS stories). Worked like a charm. On another twink, though, who has core, HoT and LS2 finished, and LS3 is the active story, the achievement did not auomatically complete... Maybe the currently active story chapter as well as the combination of LS chapters you have completed has some effect on whether or not this achievement gets stuck...? Just throwing random guesses out there at this point. I'll try completing other story chapters on the affected character now to see whether or not making the achievement ding by doing some other chapters is possible. But I highly doubt.
  17. Same here - seems to genereally happen around light sources like bonfires, torches, etc. At certain camera angles, the light sources appear to be "switched off", not casting any light on the surrounding environment.
  18. The lighting inside the cavern beneath Dragon's End is randomly messed up (very bright and greenish lighting). Relogging inside the cavern seems to fix the issue temporarily - at least until you reenter the map (i.e. until you render the map from outside the cavern) and then go back there. Screens of the issue: https://imgur.com/a/TDAAqJd System Info: Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19043) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GW2 Client Build: 131259 Graphics Options: Resolution: Windowed Fullscreen Refresh Rate: Default Frame Limiter: Unlimited Interface Size: Normal DX11 Rendering: Enabled DPI Scaling: Enabled Full-Screen Gamma: 1.00 Animation: High Antialiasing: SMAA High Environment: High LOD Distance: Ultra Reflections: All Textures: High Render Sampling: Native Shadows: Ultra Shaders: High Post Processing: High Character Model Limit: Low Character Model Quality: Low Ambient Occlusion: Enabled Best Texture Filtering: Enabled Depth Blur: Disabled Effect LOD: Disabled High-Res Character Textures: Enabled Light Adaption: Enabled V-Sync: Disabled (using G-Sync instead) Motion Blur Power: Slider in Mid Position If further information is needed, please let me know.
  19. The fact the contrast options were added is a step in the right direction. However, the way it was implemented might need some work (which I am aware will have quite a low priority right now...) I'd suggest to rework the cursor in a way that: The tip of the pointer actually is, well, the tip of the pointer (accuracy) People can choose outline thickness AND color (if a color picker is too much, maybe just from a small preselection of colors, including magenta and similarly visible ones) Let people choose whether or not they additionally want the circle around the pointer (same color as chosen for the border of the pointer) Maybe even add an option to only have a crosshair or dot with the circle around it (also with color picker)? And please make the mouse pointer/crosshair/dot be centered in the circle Also, adding an option to not have the mouse pointer disappear when turning the camera could help. Even the "Use Show Ally Names to find Mouse Cursor" option does not work, while the camera is being turned using the right mouse button. -> I'm not sure if that's just me, but I go full camera helicopter mode during active gameplay (raids and the like), so an option like this would be really useful to me.
  20. Same here. Figured I'll make a video of the bug "in action". https://youtu.be/KZ-3F2a9Ao8
  21. I think I found another way to stall the fight. I ended up with an instance where Mai was defeated, the path to the airship was already up, but Horrik was still alive and kept firing his cannon (with no way to make him vulnerable again)... In the fight where this happened Horrik just skipped a DMG phase and did 2 cannon phases one after another -> guess that's why I was able to defeat Mai before he died.
  22. You can use your directional keys (either arrow keys or A and D) as an alternative method - might make it easier for some, since that way you can't accidentally hit the reset key.
  23. Unlucky. I play since beta and this is probably the third or fourth time something like this happens. Considering how long this game is live, that's nothing compared to other games. However, same problem here - EU servers. Build: 120060 Error Code: 58:11:5:535
