I know its a bit cheeky of me, but I am not a big fan of pve. However, I do want aurora. Anyway, a friend who hates pve as well told me that he crafted 2 of the wvw legendary trinket and got a legendary coffer as compensation when legendary armory was introduced. I kinda feel sad for not doing it myself, so is it likely that the same thing will happen? Like a legendary coffer with choice of the new legendary relic and the reliquary like before. 🥲

I was genuinely hoping to play a mage with elemental bullets 🙂

Nice joke, guess you never saw mallyx tormenting rune crap from a couple of years ago, infinite dodge vindi (before that was sorta nerfed) and now cele renegade cheesiness, after the likes of necro and ele, revenant definitely takes the lead in having the most cheesy builds in wvw. Bleh

Best bit of Vallun's video was the comment section with GuildKaren acting her crazy self, calling the guy who commented a skill clicker (irrelevant to the discussion about cele) etc . Poor Vallun had to put his foot in and agree that the chief guy was right lol

I remember a couple of years ago some random person on pvp lobby wanted me to join his party. I did, and as soon as I did the game crashed. Re logged and he was still there in the lobby and he tells me that happens when he invites someone to his party, he just wanted to try it and see if it worked on me as well. Anyway, I said nothing and played a couple of games, he popped up on the opposing team, and funnily enough the entire match everyone from both team except him were randomly getting dcs. I blocked him, then went to wvw. Not sure what that sort of hacking is called :s

I feel for you, happened to me on the earlier alliances. However, there was sufficient notification this time, nothing much you can do but I guess stay in same guild and set the same guild for wvw beta alliance in the future.

Cele sceptre/ focus ofc. Hammer is meh for roaming.

Fresh air is fun, but cele catalyst is one of the best roamer in wvw. You get to tank hits, can easily do 1vs2+ and still deal a lot of condi and power dmg. Not to mention, you pretty much will have all the boons in combat, and pair that with -dr+ cele stat food, its a bit op. But, saying that, ele will always have trouble chasing down enemies while something like willbender is able to dish out huge damage, has a ton of blocks, invul and more mobility than a thief. Wb, is definitely the king of roaming atm, hopefully they will whittle away some of the mobility. I have nothing to say about harb as personally I have never had any trouble dealing with them.

It stacks with winter's heart infusion if you want to get rid of the drab grey look.

Yes, its the jack of all trades master of them all. As long as you can stack 25 might stacks (think nearly all the classes can do that), you've more or less got the power dmg of zerker, and the condi dmg of dire. Also, you get all the stats, including boon and condi uptime, healing power etc. Cele is generally tanky and the cele food with -10% dmg may as well be another cele accessory. Ofc anet sees nothing wrong with this, although I admit it does keep new players hooked to wvw. So idk, it is a double-edged sword.

Also beta player. Think it was a couple of years ago, I was doing map exporation and ended up in a pve place with ice, snow, lake and a massive group of people. Saw a blue dragon land where everyone was gathered. It got killed and dropped a chak egg sac, found out later on the forum there was an event where pve bosses were dropping rare stuff. I squeed, never had a precursor drop, but worth it 🙂 I will never, ever sell it, even if it becomes common. Like a digital momento.

Though I loved chrono back in the HoT era, nothing beats the likes of mirage, sb, weaver, well everything was better. EoD, only some elite specs are actually viable...

Really though? Condi? Saying that I did die to a condi scourge in a group fight (first time I died to condi in months). Took me by surprise how much torment was stacked on me, the dude pulled me off a ledge then I was ded from torment stacks. Hmm, but apart from harbinger what else deals damage with condi? Maybe virtuoso, but their burst that stacks 20 confusion at once is easy enough to deal with. Maybe the cele/ condi warriors, but they won't die but neither will you as their attacks are so telegraphed and easy to dodge. I thinks its more the cele users that can stack 25 might and deal a large amount of condi dmg as a bonus.
