OP, yes, I have seen that hack about 10 months ago, but it was on an engie, he was fighting 3 of us and we took his health down to 1% and it just auto filled right back up to 100% in like 2 secs, it was so smooth it just filled right back up, we dropped him again in about 5 secs down 1% and again it just auto refilled up to 100% and then we did again about 20 secs later and it did it again. I said forget it and left. Total hack. There are so many good players and there are a lot of times when people think its hacking and it isn't, but I can tell you that there are hacks just not as many as people think.
  2. Member SMC Lord on 2nd LVL. ACs on the third lvl surrounding the 2nd. Thats the reason the third floor looks like it does btw 🙂

  4. Is there a bug with the armor values or scaling or something, because it seems like people are going to half health after using just 2-3 physical damage abilities? I've also noticed that it seems like my high armor toons that are normally pretty tanky are just dropping pretty quick too. I could be totally wrong, just wondering if anyone else was feeling extra squishy lately even though they are running high armor. Seems like it only applies to physcial damage application and receiving, condi damage seems about the same. Check it out, make a power build and watch them just crumble...lol Probably just seems like a bug though.
  5. This is nothing new, most of this was happening 10 years ago and it is still happening. There always will be a bad guy server in this game, always. There used to be this thing called map painting, and basically outside of T1 there was usually one dominant server that would paint the entire map 1 color and and the entire server would sit at the other 2 spawns with siege (pre nerfed), and I'm not talking about gankers or roamers, actual commanders with tags popped camping in TeamSpeak and calling out if anyone tried to use the side exits. People forget the good ol days to quickly. A lot will disagree with me but having a server like Mag right now is healthy for the game. I love to fight mag; they make me think and give more of a challenge. We really all should see Mag as a challenge right now. Granted, they don't really put up as much of difficulty as they used to, but they are trying, and you can see some vets have handed down some of the old tricks. Answer: Open up all servers and let players play where they want, stop the silly re links and let the chips fall. This game will never have population balance because you can't force people to play. Even if they make the EBG 25 vs 25 if some players decide they don't want to play because of X reason then there will be a population imbalance. Can I get a fist bump if you get me?
  6. First of all, thank you to all that responded. I had been away from the game for about 8 months and just recently returned, so in a way for me it was like looking at the game through fresh eyes to a degree. I have always enjoyed the game mode wvw and I just see a lot of potential if given the right resources, as some of you pointed out doesn't seem to be a priority. Speaking for myself I see a game mode that has a lot of potential. I enjoy the build diversity, both large scale and small-scale battles as well as solo roaming throughout the maps on that chance you meet the other roamer or roamers and the spontaneous battles that come from it. Win lose or draw they really are fun as long as it was a good fight. I find large scale battles fun as well, very satisfying to clash against a bunch of others players dodging red circles and projectiles and huge aoe bombs and still coming out with loads of bags and looking down on the bodies all over the ground. It really is fun! I won't get into the problems it has that needs to get fixed but before moving forward but think of it like this, if after 10 years and with very little development and resources put into the game mode, it still has this many players that are still playing and watching and waiting for improvements and still passionate enough about that game mode that you still get the feedback good or bad, that alone should be a testament to just how much more the game mode could be with the right allocation of resources as well a design vision. It still is an untapped gold mine, that for some reason, just keeps getting pushed aside. Anyway, thanks again for all the responses and I look forward to seeing you out there.
  7. Why is it that WvW does not get more new content in the form of new maps? The game is 10 years old and since that time we have had 1 new map. I did not like it for the size and the aesthetics of it (to reminiscent of silver wastes for my taste) but that's ok, at least it was something. There have been 3 expansions on the pve side of things and there have been multiple zones added each expansion, but we wvw really only have 3 maps 1. EB, 2. Borderlands is copy pasta for each color and then 3. Desert borderlands. So, I keep hearing that Anet hates WvW and Pvp in general and doesn't care about that player base, but I seriously would like to know, why? Why so little to WvW? Maybe it is just my perspective, but it seems like not much in the way of new map content. The other thing that I was wondering about is the balance. Why isn't there a clear communication about the balance direction? Example, a lot of people do not like the overabundance of boon sharing and there are a lot of those that don't like the amount of condition application in the game, so why isn't there more communication about the direction of the balance? Just something to let players know, like, Anet says, " we love boon sharing and are happy how it is" or " we like condition damage and would even like to put more in", just something that would tell what there vision is and then it would be nice if they looked for feedback from the players too. Anyway, I just was seriously wondering and It would be absolutely awesome, if somebody from Anet would respond to this thread. One more thing any news on Alliances?
  8. This one has got some big problems, I don't like the various ranges on the different abilities and most of them are to small of range. The F5 is too short, barely worth using. The hammer is too slow, it feels like another 2h that is quickness dependent and I really don't like the play of that. These things have to be fixed for sure or its a deal breaker. I hope this helps because these seem like glaring issues, hard to miss these ones.
  9. The attack speed looked good and that's the key with melee hammers. I wondering if you get free roam within the wells for enhanced damage, because the wells looked good sized. I'm hopeful for a good beta for this one. 🙂 It looked power oriented. Cross your fingers for a trait that will allow them for more HP.
  10. Question: What happens when you get stunned in shroud? Answer: No soak, no break and you die. It is fun theory, but realistically it can't survive without dedicated support.
  11. WVW harbinger feedback here. With this shroud, we need our utilities! We are sacrificing health and no second health bar. Damage was just ok. How is shroud 5 supposed to work in competitive modes the radius is so small and the harbinger shroud animation is a monster telegraph, it just begs move out of this real quick to avoid danger. Pistol feels good in shroud, but out of shroud weak and boring. Sorry, but I think harbinger is going to end up a boon bot, which is ok, if that's what you want. MY FEEDBACK FOR ARENA NET.

Just watched the livestream replay and all I can say is this spec is going to be wicked powerful in the right hands, there will be nerf screams echoing for months over this thing, having said that, I really like what I see and I can definitely see HUGE potential there. Also, I definitely see some serious balance issues coming just because of the damage potential vs shroud blight mechanic, it looks like it will be a real challenge to balance this Espec. They gave the necro some depth which is what a lot of players wanted, but it will be scary cause this espec has monster damage potential. The thing is it will be very squishy at least how they have it right now but put it in a comp or a zerg with dedicated heals and this thing is gonna be crazy. I like what I see tentatively but I see a long road of balance for this espec. I will love it til it gets beat to death by the nerf bat 🙂

  16. Maybe the Necro will use something similar to shades but not shades themselves but still use icons that are used for shade tracking. I really don't know. I could be happy either way Pistol or Dual swords.
  17. Icon 3 looks like dual wield swords, also, the little diamonds look very similar to the shades resources icons in game. This is all speculation, but if you go in order of these icons from left to right and match up the professions on the GW2 professions page https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/professions/ it starts with Mesmer top left then goes to Gaurdian, then drops down to .....Yep, thats right Necromancer which is also the third. /shrug!

Just throwing out some ideas here but what if they pistol is some kind of main hand support gun that blasts heals and shields (kind of like a elixir plague master spec) until you go in shroud then it is some kind of blunderbuss style that does heavy mid range aoe damage or some kind of cc? That would be interesting and would open up for a few different build possibilities. It definitely is a main hand pistol asura the pose is identical after affect following main hand pistol shot pose. Logged on to my engi and threw some pistols to verify.
  19. Ranger uses the green theme as well, could be ranger elite or necro. Either way, I just want to see what it can do.
  20. Epidemic needs a total rework. I would suggest that it goes back from the clunky slow projectile that it is now to its former state BUT, it doesn't spread conditions that are already on the target instead spreads conditions that the necromancer has applied. Example if I put bleeds on a target or torment then I would use my epidemic to spread the conditions that I applied. This way it requires a bit more of set up for the payoff and its not just copying 15 conditions over at once but at lease we get a reliable application of it.
  21. With legendary armor going account wide , I wouldn't mind unique skins for armor or weapons. I like the flashy stuff 🙂
  22. Rewards for winning WvW Tournaments ( shorter this time) More maps, we should get at least 3 per expansion. If Pve can get loads of maps, it wouldn't hurt for us to get 3 per expansion. No more training wheels, nerf the support specs and boons.
  23. Just for fun, what do you think it will be? I'm guessing it'll be long range either hammer or longbow because reaper got greatsword (melee) first time and torch (mid range) second time around. It makes sense that it would be long range this time. On a serious note, I have no idea and could be a pool cue for that matter 🙂
