  1. At some point you will have to stop removing amulets xD. If you gonna remove mender, think about specs that rely on healing power in order to work (druid theoretically). Problem with support specs in GW2 could be that they do too much at the same time. Healing, boons, damage mitigation (projectile blocks and stuff), condi cleanse and rezzes. Rather give them good access to for example 2 of these things and tone down the rest. This could also create the opportunity for multiple support specs to be somewhat equally viable instead of always 1 being superior.
  2. Hi all, Since January I have a lot of problems with my connection in GW2. I get a lot of ping spikes and lags all the time, sometimes more severe than other times but its always there. It made the game unplayable for me. Sometimes I disconnect as well. When I do some online internet speed tests, the connection appears to be stable with a low ping. I don't play any other online games on this PC, but on my Xbox (that uses the same connection), I don't have any problems. Before January, the performance in GW2 seemed to be just fine. Does anyone have an idea on how to find the cause of the problem? Much appreciated.
  3. I would ask people to just ask 1 or 2 questions since otherwise it might become a messy maze in here. My question is what Anets vision is on the current status of the tradeoffs that elite specs are supposed to have and whether they think that the impact of these tradeoffs are balanced between all professions.
  4. Imagine thinking that Druid CA's "shiny button" has a 15sec cooldown.
  5. What did you smoke my man? The good stuff, obviously. The numbers they tweaked aren't small, they're quite significant. But they arguably didn't tweak enough. You can heal more now, have another immob bomb, and can reliably use glyphs to condi cleanse (with the trait). In other words, you don't need to slot additional condi cleanse beyond 2 glyphs, and the Celestial trait. If you understood this, you'd see that the side-noder capability of the druid got some serious buffs.a 0.5sec immob increase on an insignificant weapon actually is insignificant.you said they pushed support capabilities of druid... tell me when and where. the trait casts LESSER seed of life which doesnt state to have an increased condi cleanse as well. If you understood this, you'd see that these buffs wont really matter. But yeh we cant complain. After seeing nerfs every single balance patch, druid players should be happy with this I suppose.
  6. I quickly skipped through your article but I didnt see anything about healing power coefficients, which are way too low now on druid skills. Mender amulet isnt even a correct choice anymore now for Druid in a lot of cases, which says a lot. And the comparison with engineer healing output without a healing power amulet is correct one to illustrate the poor situation of Druid at the moment. This doesnt leave out the fact tho that Druid has gotten a better place in the meta since the large patch, but for the wrong reasons basically.
  7. Imagine being a dev and trying to read feedback from the forums.
  8. Shiyo should absolutely never be allowed to post on the forums.
  9. They wont give druid dps, as the quite recent nerf of pet dmg by 20% indicates. They just figured they had to reduce all healing coefficients with the big patch, so they did that unnecesarily to druid as well. You should aim for better support and sustain capabilities, I highly doubt they would give the spec any dps. Also, we have other traitlines for that. It would make more sense to buff its support than its dps.
  10. Decent nerfs overall, sadly they overlooked condithief. Which is by itself always a spec that exists due to overlooked things.
  11. None of the more recent druid nerfs had any clear motivation (in pvp at least).
  12. Spike damage is in general still high though. People complaining about bunker builds all the time is getting weird now. You have to consider as well what such a bunker build can do alltogether. Can it decap? Does it have stealth? Does it have high mobility? What dmg does it do? Can it support?Tank builds become a problem when they can do multiple things at once, such as bunker chrono did back in the day. So tell us, what builds that use knight amulet are broken?
  13. Staff indeed needs buffs, but the buffs would have to be quite big if it wants to be a good alternative for sword+warhorn. Even before several staff nerfs, sword+warhorn was already the favourable weaponset in most occasions. Ofc if you run a full supportish build then you pick both staff and s+w, so then any staff buff would help. Giving back the evade to staff #3 should be priority, since its the most important skill on the weaponset and the most prominent reason to choose that weapon at all.
  14. Since an overactive mod decided to remove my post, ill post it again. The suggestions in OP overall make no sense if thats what it stays with. Yes its an improvement, but it wont make druid that much better. Druid can already come into a teamfight and burst heal its allies with glyph in CA and leave the fight. Then, as you say, it has to back off again to a side node. There it loses basically every duel in higher level pvp because it does no damage nor has enough resustain to hold a node for a longer period of time. The core of the problem lies there, not with its potential teamfight support (which would already be buffed significantly by just upgrading healing coefficients - a more realistic buff).
  15. It has nothing to do what class you pick and if it actually did then everyone would be re-rolling to the same class for every map, Did you even think about what you said before you typed it ? Nice logic man. Some maps benefit teamfights more, some benefit roaming comps more. A team might benefit from you rerolling to a roamer, sidenoder or teamfighter. You can adjust your team comp accordingly, without the whole team rerolling but just 1 or 2 players. A good comp for a specific map exists of different classes, not 1 class for all 5 teammates. But that might be too difficult for you to comprehend. Now hop back to silver.
  16. Why would you want to dumb things down like that? Different maps require different strategies and so different classes. That makes the game more interesting.
  17. This is a very bad suggestion because the class you pick depends on the map that you play on. Furthermore I almost always see the team that rerolls midgame lose. Either the reroll didnt solve their problem or the time that they had to 4v5 was too devastating. But if its locked im fine with it too, it doesnt have that much of an impact as people believe it has.
  18. Downstate is not related to the success of this tournament man. Cut the negativity crap. This tournament is a good initiative and its gonna be great for both the players and the viewers. If downstate is a good mechanic or not is a completely different discussion.
  19. You need to be good on the class, know what build works, and have a good team comp around you (no teamfighters). If you want to use it in ranked then you can make it work but if you are really focused on rating then you should choose something else, although I made it almost always to legendary in the past seasons. In ATs it is decent but as said, you need a good team comp.
