Why is Flow Stabiliser still in its nerfed Fury giving state?

I did promise to make this thread, and as expected Bladesworn kept the nerfs from Beta2! Flow Stab was so much better giving stab. IT HAS STAB IN ITS NAME.
We have ample access to Fury, when I think Warrior I think 25 self stacks of might and Fury. I don't think "you know what Warrior needs more access to? Fury."
Now the question is, can you still just jump over Bladesworn abilities.

I was wondering why It seemed so useless of a skill.

Yeah in beta 1 Bladesworn looked great. Using the skill proc'd on weapon swap effects so we could use Sigil of Vision to grant crits to our hardest hitting attack without needing to worry about Fury or Precision, and Flow stab gave stability on activation with multiple uses, so was great to combine it.

So what they did was change it to not proc weapon swap effects and then changed Flow Stabilizer to grant Fury instead, and tied our Stab to on use of DT. So we lost the active conrol of Stab and its use outside of DT and gained a skill that no one will ever use.

On top of Flow Stabiliser being useless, the three other utility skills make no sense to me, they don't even make sense in a lore way either.
Mines are an engi thing, electric fence? what?, and the bulletproof barrier? why? I don't see any use for these outside of making a quirky pvp build.

Immobilizing mobs from afar (with leg specialist) to charge your kamahamaha.

Evade backwards to start charging your soul bomb.

Setup an anti projectile bubble to prep your chidori.

They have purposes, it all just sucks and is centered around making the gimmick work rather than making the gimmick itself useful on its own.

Kinda cute that it ended up being like Gon's Rock-paper-scissors with rock being the most powerful.

(Anime references obviously, as that is all the spec truly is, a bad anime reference)

Frankly, the evade util is something I always wanted on warrior. Now if they gave us 1 good mobility armament and self-defense armament (think like Holo's utils) and a damaging utility it would be great!

If this spec isnt meant to do anything for a party (no boons, some bad projectile blocking, a very bad soft cc and a useless self fury skill) then may as well make it selfish.

Not to mention breakstep was 70% (?) faster so the gunsaber in first beta actually provided passable mobility. Then they slowed it down with DT2, even though no one was getting stuck in walls from breakstep.

The spec gets absolutely murdered from chill, which is quite prevalent. It doesn’t have good mobility, and the speed needs were so drastic that it feels clunky and slow. The damage got better, but is still mid tier at best, which is pathetic for a spec that is literally just “look at my damage it’s amaze balls” and was marketed as such. The damage/second casting is absolutely pitiful, and drastically outpaced by most skills on most classes. The skills on Gunsaber are just bad versions of other classes’ skills and outperformed by comparable weapons on other classes. There’s even comparable skills introduced in this xpac that are the same concept, but have more utility and damage all at once with similar investment costs.

This is coming from someone who found this spec enjoyable in the betas (several forum members will attest to the fact that I was possibly the only one). I found it enjoyable predicated on the fact it was a beta class, and the numbers would be fixed if it was actually introduced. The numbers were not. There’s no enjoyment in playing something that is worse than what warrior already has (which is saying something because warrior isn’t exactly top tier atm) with no prospect of improvement in the future.

perhaps I will come around to it in the future, or someone more clever than me will be able to find a viable build with it, but for now I’ll probably be sticking to spell unfortunately.

This thing should give both, stab and fury, and even with that buff, it's barely something, compared to other overtuned skills from different classes.

That would be nice actually. Be good to have a nice utility on Warrior.

Yeah those other skills are absolute trash.
Every BsW build I play has flow stabilizer in it because that's the only useful one in that kit.

They need to rework those into something else.
