After the first crystal phase I had 20% (2/10) and after the 2nd crystal phase I have now 30% (3/10). However, not all my tsunami attempts were counted. Funnily enough, I was standing behind a crystal, got credit for avoid the tsunami, but died anyway when the crystals broke. Just like the other 10 people standing with me. One during Second crystal phase and one when I was returning from the Jormag champion fight at last split when Soo-Woon create a tsunami to wipe the platform before last phase. As far as I know, you only receive progress during the crystal phase. The more crystals are between you and Soo-Won in a straight line when she returns and creates that full-platform tsunami, the more points you receive towards the achievement. I've tried twice to put multiple crystal between me and soo woon and got only one each time. I got one once again during the first split phase but didn't get one on second champion split. It is highly sensitive. It has to be a 100% straight line. If one crystal is slightly off (left or right), it doesn't count. That's my experience at least.
