Ran into a player that cheated. Asked them why, its a game. Answer was but I won. I laughed at them since I knew they didn't and would never do so.

I can confirm a Player on our Server aswell. Mostly plays at Thief, flying into Towers or Fortresses and bringing other Players directly to Lord using the Portal. Hes playing for years and so far i know he wasnt banned at all until today. 

 

 

 

Hes really flying above or running through Walls. I dont Talk about the Exploits which can be done as Thief.

While you can use a manual ticket to report it, they have always advised to use the botting report option (also a manual ticket with just a video like that is utterly meaningless, no information on what account they are even looking at). 

Now, you may ask "why doesnt Anet add an 'WvW/sPvP cheat/exploit' report option?" Well the answer to that is because you'd probably be reported 100 times per evening from alt-accounts of someone you killed because you used a mesmer or something.

Go to the top of the forums - click on support - click on submit a ticket. 

1. make sure you have the possible offending player's account name

2. describe what you saw.

3. fill out the necessary lines

4. add the video files or links(may have to put those in the description area of what you saw.

Exactly: You can send a report with multiple proof such as a video showing time and place of the hack/exploit, showing the perp's account name, etc... but just don't expect anything done. most of the serial exploiters that i know to have been reported multiple times over the course of several months are still active and exploiting.
The report system and game moderation is an complete and utter joke. Like the people running it.

I see this stuff daily.  Same players, report with videos, etc, etc.  Years go by, they're still on walking through walls, flying, etc.

Short answer, no. If bans or stern actions were taken, there wouldn't be so many of them. More by the days.

The game does not even give you an option to report them in game and if you try to report them here, you will be warned and the post will be deleted.

Portion of the video was played in reverse, making it look like the thief is flying back into the tower.  Only problem is, he's flying backwards?  No.  That part of the video was played in reverse.  There's a splice at the 19 to 20 second mark in the video showing the player in question, moving in another direction after, "flying backwards" back into the tower.  It was a shoddy fake video.

Yeah, the way it was recorded makes it look fake. But the part where the mes is flying back into the tower isn't reversed, you can tell by the HP. They drop instantly due to fall damage, and would instantly go back again if it was reversed. But they start to recover HP gradually and there's still some missing when the player's over the water, since they recover it by out of combat regeneration. The "path" is different too.
