We all knew the ranger maces needed some adjustment but..

Nobody played mace or had any success 2 mats ago because it was too slow. Then they reworked WS with traits that give damage / sustain boost turning WS into the defense traitline of warrior. I am expecting to see builds still using WS variants. If mace is played it will be with carnivore (not that much fun to fight when it is on a druid).

Puuh touching necros is a hot topic, they would not want to drive away the remaining cavemen.

Literally the only big nerf is the stab reduction. Unleash attack got 10% nerf. Force of Nature got a 5% nerf. As far as damage nerfs go this is tiny. Basically the damage is still there, the sustain and defence is still there. You just cant spam everything and hold w without getting cc'd anymore.

Yeah god forbid they touch Anets favorite child.. But that was probably the issue. To many Necros complaining they couldn't just delete everything with 2 buttons any more. PvP in this game is a meme at this point.

The mace CD nerf is bigger imo.

Its now sub-human, instead of sub-godly, hopefully they remember where the stunbreak button is. Or wait.. not sure if the nerf was that impactful on hold W get kills.

I love how you either missed or decided to ignore the important quote of the patch note. Damage never was the goal since only 2 skills are meant for damage (and both have some form of delay).

edit : because so many things got changed all the small notes will have bigger impact than you suggest. I think they should have gone for 1 and not all. We will soon find out how it feels.

This.  It's always been WS.  

Stab stack nerf just pushes farther into soulbeast builds now.  Only thing that did was make it easier for rangers to CC eachother, no one was complaining about stab access, they were complaining about CC access and the mace reset.  

It's fine though, the bar in sPvP is so low I'm still using a Druid build from 2021 in g3.

It was far beyond deserved at this point.
The sheer amount of kittenery the Mace/Mace builds produced was astounding.

The fact that it didnt get hotfixed sooner is a blatant display of how protective they are of ranger as a profession.

Their all time baby is going to be Guardian.

But for a while they seemed to go real hard on Ele, then on Ranger. Vindi was just a happy coincidence.

Stability, barrier, crowd control skills with damage, condition removal, leap, small heals, and built in buffs for simply landing skills with a forgiving timer on the stack system. Woe is ranger. Yeah, it needs to be nerfed more but their model of selling expansion packs trumps that so be happy.

No maces no ranger,if u never buy solo dlc ,u cant used power slb .druld,untamed every good build.
No maces ,u just played poor condi slb,one shout power longbow slb.
arnet make pvp dead...hmm,pvp always dead
