Abelisk, you could just win with your high ping alone, no need for hipster builds xDi'm not a meta person so i have no clue wth going on with meta. i don't even know if these are hipsters or not, just my faves to play sometimes.i'd like some condi scrapper, really fun and trolling in wvw, but harder to play in spvp depend on team comp.paladin scrapper. cuz nostalgic.condi reaper. fun time.burn fb. hybrid. hard to play. i'm still testing it. but it has a lot of potentials.hopefully see more unique builds in ranked.

Note: You can swap the heal with Ether renewal for condi cleanse, and you can swap Arcane Wave for Feel The Burn

You can also swap the ferocity trait in Air specialization for the fury+swiftness especially if taking Feel the Burn

You'll die a lot but at least you make others die a lot.

Tanky, hits hard, can port. As for Elusive Mind it's a matter of taste. I know, 6 sec of exhaustion is horrible. If running EM you could try swapping portal or blink with Illusionary Ambush to help during exhaustion. Exhaustion isn't too bad if you utilize your weapon skills well.

Is that a build with a crappy mustache and a dirty hat and maybe a really ugly scarf? Tight crotch pants maybe? Can we get tight crotch pants for our builds?

Timing. Try Fiery GS + Fresh Air. Open with Firestorm (FGS 5) from any attune other than air, cast Fiery Rush (FGS 4) and attune air as it lands for the lightning bolt/ferocity boost, Fiery Whirl (FGS 3) through them while you attune air again (if weaver). "One shots" most builds. Also if taking water try Piercing Shards and Aquamancer's Training, since just like you can attune air during a conjure the 20% damage boost in water works with conjures too. The 10% above 90% is just gravy.

Lightning Hammer is fun with Lightning Rod and Tempest Defense, I haven't really played around building for the other conjured weaps yet. Also, don't bother taking the conjured weap trait in fire, it's broken. It grants the fire aura but no reduced CD so pretty useless.

Reason for sigil of absorption is because it prioritizes retaliation, which can cause troubles with Jalis.Reason for rapid flow over incensed response is because notoriety procs off vengeful hammers activating OR deactivating. This + lasting legacy is more than enough to stack 25 might so might as well take the perma swiftness + free sustain.
