Remove keep requirement from warclaw mount

Remove this requirement.

It's not so much doing WvW without a mount that's unbearable, but it's these factors;

• your allies DO have the mount
• you can't always get the Warclaw's Blessing buff
• allies dodge forwards for extra distance, but you can't do that when you're relying on the Warclaw's Blessing buff, so you end up far behind and unable to catch up

 

I wouldn't hold my breath, tho. Anet's attention to WvW is legendary. i.e. it's a fable about some long lost time.

Lol. Taking a keep is easy.    I did warclaw unlock this weekend.   Casual. Took  3 hours     Almost all of that was just filling in reward track.    Peo0le tha5 complaining about this won’t stick out wvw anyway

This is some solid advice for anyone having problems with the keep requirement. Also, there are generally very different kinds of tags running in WvW. One tag I know keeps an eye out for anyone following the group who doesn't seem to have a mount yet. If that person doesn't have a mount, the tag will put a heart or other marker on that player's head so folks in the zerg will know to keep on eye on them and actively help them stay up with the group. A lot of tags/zergs won't do that but some will. Ask in team chat if there is a noob friendly tag running. Another guild I know will help any new guildie get their warclaw. That guild's WvW group will go out of their way to cap whatever it is the new guildie still needs to get the mount. People can look here on the forum for noob friendly guilds or again, ask in team chat in WvW.

Capturing objectives for the warclaw should work in edge of the mists. Which is mostly as empty as dungeons so getting a keep should be easy.

They do work in EoTM.  Except camps because there are no camps (just supply generators) in EoTM.

1) Keeps flip all day long when it is one of the dailies.

2) Almost all can be done in EotM without any interruption from other players.

3) Camps have to be down in EBG or a BL, and if you can't kill 5 veteran mobs on your own, then do you even PvE?

4) The reward track takes about 4 hours will all boosters up and doing the WvW dailies.
