DemonSeed.3528
Regarding fov, I do think it does affect people's spacial awareness of their surroundings especially when it comes to encounters with specific classes, and it is probably what also adds to their frustrations. Maybe their limitations are hardware oriented or physical (making them feel nauseated with certain fov values). In any case, there isn't much to be done about fov - it's all personal preference and what feels comfortable for the person.
steki.1478
You can do that in your settings though.
Dawdler.8521
No. Increase FoV to 250 instead. Only those worthy with strong stomachs will remain.
Optimator.3589
I play at 3440x1440 for a reason, and it ain't to have a tiny FoV.

Motion Sickness for everyone! Great Idea! Please lern some basics about human field of view and how it is connected to our sense of balance.Hint: a small fov while sitting 50cm in front of a big widescreen monitor will make people puke - some more, some less. The human field of view is 170 degrees (yes it's true, almost half a circle) and if your monitor covers half of your horizontal viewing space then it should have an 85 degree fov. Zephyra.4709
You can do that in settings.. you can even play action camera where you see nothing but your wep skills in front of you.. have fun with that tho.I play max view/height etc, would never go back. Infinitely better to be able to see over walls + around your char. How ever would you play viewed in with the plethora of aoes + other bs flinging around. RedShark.9548
Op is probably a thief, mesmer or ranger player and wants to attack from outside of the fov

hugeboss.5432
Limiting the FoV & camera in any competitive online game is tricky business, because it makes cam hacks even more powerful & sought after.
knite.1542
Make everyone in PvP/WvW play with action cam. We are saved.
