How to get Greaver Gear?

I am now finished with 4/5 Maps, have done a lot of bounties, finished the griffon and still have no clue how to get griever gear except ele sword.

ANet has refused to respond to this question (or any question regarding the new stat combo acquisition). I'd say just forget about it and move on. Maybe in a few months we will finally get this unrewarding riddle solved.

It was semi answered on AMA actually. They said ascended recipies were coming in a future update. Ie, if you do not have legendary armour, raid selectable stat armour pieces, or WvW armor, you can't get it. We're likely getting it in LWS4. Either by mistake or intentionally.

Ah, thank you for the heads-up. But what about the exotic recipes? Most of them have been disabled from discovery via crafting, so I can't even make any of those to switch my ascended gear to said stats.

I know that the last reward of SPvP track drops a piece of gear of your choice that can be used for greaver stats. Not sure how can you obtain it PvE wise.

There are collections to unlock funerary armor (griever stats). The collections award one piece (boot, chest, etc) but then unlocks a vendor that sells the other weights. This is only exotic though.

It was probably intentional. I mean they didn't include all the HoT ascended trinkets until Raids and LS3.

I am not talking about trinkets, I am talking about basic armor and weapons. Before the discovery nerf, some people got lucky and could craft their exotic insigniae and inscriptions, no?

As others have said finishing the funerary armor collections gives you one full set of exotic gear and unlocks it at a vendor to buy. The vendor also sells exotic amulet, ring, and accessory (no back piece) with griever stats but none of the trinkets have upgrade slots, which I am guessing is unintended. The vendor also sells weapons but I think you have to complete all of the armor collections before you can buy them. I think all weapons are available except scepter, didn't see it in the list.

Again, what about the once craftable (!) insignia and inscription (that have been nerfed)?? How do I acquire those???

I don't care about exotic sets, I want insigniae and inscriptions to change my ascended stats in the Mystic Forge.

You can't. They delivered you an incomplete product.

You get it easy and for free in WvW, the months before release I started stacking armor boxes.

I haven't tested it yet but maybe you can salvage the exotic gear and get the inscription. Other than that you are stuck with PvP/WvW/Raid/Fractal boxes.

Well gee I guess the other players didn't spell it out for you? It looks like ANet don't want people stat shifting their ascended gear that easily.

Thx for all answers. I primarely was looking for exo gear because i knew ascended stuff isnt available yet. I'll do the funerary collection than for grievers stats.

I just finished putting together my Heavy Ascended Grievers set via the Fractal Lobby vendor.

Trinkets via collection in PoF.

Still looking forward to exotic insignia for stat swapping drops and existing set pieces.

Wait, AFAIK there are only amulets available at this point. Or did I miss the accessories and rings?

Exotic weapons and armor are available in the Funerary collections - armor is unlocked via events related to their specific collections (boots, leggings etc) and you can buy them again from the NPC in Tomb of the Primeval Kings along with weapons using Elegy Mosaics.

All Asc trinkets from PvP lobby have the option to choose grieving stats. Some of the Asc raid gear also allows Grieving selection. PoF exo and asc banners also have the stat.

The actual inscriptions they have stated in the Reddit AMA will arrive in a future update
